Castlvania Portrait of Ruin, sweet... I've played it, beat Brauner, but got stuck on Death and Dracula. Then I got the Vampire Killer whip thing upgraded so when you charge it, and it catches on fire and is alot more powerful. ;D Anyway, the drawing of Death is amazing! It's very accurate to the Castlevania version and it's detailed too. Okay, all I can say is, Sano. Is. Awesome. And I find it a very odd coincidence that you put Sythe dressed as Sano from Rurouni Kenshin right after I mentioned him. Were you planning to put the Sano drawing up even if I hadn't mentioned him, or did you just dig it out of your sketchbook when I mentioned it...? You'd think so, but when Drac merges with ol Death, you'd better pray you can stop the Hands of Doom!!! I did not have any plans then, but .... now look at what you've done- I've become restless! Tonight's additions are what a bit unorthadox...for me. First off, we see a new face in the cards... yes, a young lad who knows much- a fortuneteller by the name of Juno- one of the first characters I cooked up long ago- he's very dear to me. So here he is.. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/FortunetellerJuno.jpgNext up... Mr. Ninja... what have you done?? When you asked me about Sanosuke, I originally had Scythe done up when I got the sketchbook, but then I thought it over a while.... then I proceeded to go a few rounds with the Rooster Head... and this is my result: i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/SanosukeSagara.jpg You took the words out of my mouth though, Sano's a pretty cool character- he can be mellow most of the time, but if there's trouble brewing, he's got your back. I tried to capture his overall demeanor.. but I'm a little displeased at how his hands came out- they gave me a headache.... I really enjoyed doing this one, beside that nuisance. Thanks for the inspiration. On a somewhat unrelated note, I've written one or two RK fics with Scythe and Juno in them, if anyone's interested in checking those out. It's getting late, and I gotta work in the morning so as the wiseman once said... "TTFN- Ta-ta for now! "

I could see a game or manga with Scythe and Juno. Add some more character development, and you've got perfect candidates!
The drawing of Death is fantastic, too. I've never really played any Castlevania games, though.

First Juno. I like it, but for some reason, I think he looks like he's from Final Fantasy. Wierd part is, I don't even play Final Fantasy! Anyway, I was wondering if you based the name of him off of Juno from the Legends Juno or if you came up with it on your own? Anyway, it's amazing. *Two thumbs up* Now Sano. The first thing I noticed was that the legs seem to small for his body. The second thing I noticed was that he didn't have any fish bones in his mouth! I mean, he's Sano, so where are they?! Other than those mistakes, I thought it was fine. I didn't even notice any problem with the hands really. Anyway, great job on both drawings! ;D *Another two thumbs up*

*As Snidley Whiplash* Curses! Foiled again.... I don't know what hit me today, but tonight's submissions are a little low and high: To start with, it's another new face... this one's pretty old, but I know you'll recognize this guy beating Aku in tic-tac-toe. Nicodemus Blackwyvern is his name, and sorcery is his trade. If I were to compare him to most of my other characters, Nico's a bit more prickly, he can be a bit nasty, but there is something in there... unless you're a bounty hunter- then you gotta RUN!!! (good thing he's relaxed here) i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/NickBlackwyvern2.jpgNext up is new one for me: not only do I have two subjects in this one, I've decided to do this work a little more upper tier- following up yesterday's work, I spent a good hour or so on this work: It's Scythe and Sanouske- and they look ready for a fight. I always wanted to try something like this- heck, from the way it turned out, I might write a story about the encounter. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Letsdoit.jpgI feel sorry for the guys who are about to beaten to a frothy pulp by these two... If I had any gripes about this one, there was little research to go on, but one bit I found inspired me to give this a shot, first I did the roughs for Scythe, then gradually worked on Sano, until we have what you see here. The bandages on his right hand gave me trouble, plus, he seems a little bunched up.. but then again, this is the first real fighting pose I've done. Heck, I barely managed to sneak in a fishbone into the rooster's mouth. All in all, I loved the results. What do you guys think?

Firstly... wait firstly isn't a word. I think. Anyway, Nicodemus Blackwyvern is great (really like the sythe by the way), but how is he reading with his eyes closed?!?! I know he's magic and all, but that's just amazing! All I can say about this one is," HOLY WOW!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!" And you fit the fishbone in Sanosukes mouth!!! You even put tape on his hand!! And about writing a story about the encounter, I think it's a great idea. *eight thumbs up*

You did a great job on Zero (has to be one of my favorite characters). Anyway your art is good. I'd like to see you do X's and Zero's ultimate forms from X: Command Mission. That would impress me. I have some artwork of my own it's just that I have to get it onto my computer. Whenever I get the time I will.

.... I never thought I'd make anything that good in my lifetime. As proud as I am of last night's magnum opus, it creates a new problem- finding a way to top that.. RIght now, spring breaks about over, so I have to get back to my school work, so I fear I won't be making any works of awesomeness any time soon. Still, I've got stuff to put up if I can... For tonight's first work, I put in one with a bit of reminiscence- 2 years ago, I made this AW as part of a birthday card for a good friend of mine who had celebrated his 20th year. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/SolracandJunobakeacake.jpgHere, we see Juno working his magic, as well as a new face- this fella here (left) goes by the name of Solrac. His is the subject of my KH fanfic, and is usually a regular in a few aw here and there. As you can see here, no one's licking the batter any time soon... Next up, another fanfic subject- this time, it's a modified soldier Heartless- improvements include armor, sharper claws, and crude wings for flight. Tends to use hit-n-run tactics (think the Red Arramer from GnG. ) when it comes to fighting. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/soldierexperiment.jpgIn one sense, this is a crude precursor to Black Wraith, albeit the latter has several different modifications and improvements. I must admit- I never thought I'd get this far when I started this thread, let alone do some of the works I had lately, I've improved on a few things in this past week alone...and I owe it all you all of you who seen my humble works and inspire me to create more.. For that I only have this to say...... *bows* Thank you. If the Fates will it, I'll still be making more AW if I can, I guess this is one of those moments....

Oooohhh, cake!! *starts to drool* Juno's magic abilities are unsurpassed when it comes to baking cake! Well, I don't think they'll mind if I take one little bite, just gotta use my awesome ninja skills to stay clear of Solrak, he could be a threat... Okay, now the flying soldier heartless. Huh, ya did this in marker eh? I don't know about you, but I find it difficult to fit in all of the details when you use marker. Anyway, I think you actually did pretty well with the details. Heh, I could just imagine Black Wraith commanding an entire army of them. By the way, I'd hate to battle an army of them because hit and run type enemies are just a pain for me to handle. Huh, I'm still trying to get it through my head you might stop putting in art stuff... temporarily.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, folks- I'm not quitting. Life's troubles are merely descending upon me anew. A minor setback at best-heck, some of my best ideas start in the class room. @mr. Ninja: I wouldn't do that if I were you- Juno's likely to turn you into an oglop... assuming Solrac doesn't catch you, first. Dragge: You know what? I'd like that idea, but I'm still in chapter 5, plus between school and packing, I might have not much time to play CM to acquire the ultimate armors- if you can tell me where I can find some artwork and/or reference material, I might be able to accommodate your request. Tonight's works a bit more simple, but I thought they'd be worth adding, so without further ado.... Our first work is a light perspective work. I decided it was inevitable, so I drew a castle. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Castle.jpgNext up, a request. A friend of mine was working on a KH fic, and he asked me to draw Sora like a cappy. Needless to say, I was surprised, but I gave it a go.... i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Soracappy.jpg Please bear in mind that this was a few years ago, and that this work was done under 15 minutes. At the end of it, I thought of two things: 1. What have I done?? 2. Oh my god, it's actually kind of cute! He liked the results, so I was happy with it. and... for a surprise, a third entry! I was listening to Mystic Eyes and thought this a good idea. This one is a recent work of the first of my characters. Edgar Voldge. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Edgarrough.jpgUnlike Solrac and Scythe, Edgar's a pacifist: he prefers not to fight if the situation can be avoided. But he's no coward if things turn ugly. His skills with a sword are basic, but he's a good soul who'd do any and all in his power to help those he cares about. I worked with Edgar longer than anyone I've done so far, redesigning him and tinkering with his behavior, so for me, I'm pleased with this simple design. As I said, I'm not quitting doing art, it's just a minor setback. Though I probably won't do three entrees a night from here on out. Well that' should do, so if you folks have any questions and/or requests (I'm thinking about the idea), just send me a line. cyouhyny! ;D

Everybody always assumes I'll get caught. Just relax, I'll be fine... *walks in silently...* GAH!!! THEY SAW ME!!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! *Comes out 10 minutes later, half dead...* Oouuch... Oww... Okay, about the castle. I really like the amount of detail put into the drawing there. I also like that the castle is placed on a mountain. I just think it looks better that way then it would on a hill or something. The sora cappy is awesome, histerical, and cute, which I find is very hard to put into one drawing. I also think you did a great job with the hair too! I think you did a great job, especially considering you did it in under 15 minutes!! ;D Cool! A third drawing!! Anyway, the Edgar drawing is pretty good. I also really like his hair, it actually looks a little bit like mine, except for the long strand on one side. I must say I'm also pleased with his simple design too.

@ Dragge: Whoa... For X, I'm thinking the designer was watching Gundam Wing while brainstorming.. As for Zero.. I'm thinking he paid Lucifer a visit- this gives new meaning to the idea of a fallen angel! I like it. Epistle comes to mind.... if I can find the time, I might give these a shot.. @mr. Ninja: I tried to tell you, pal... you've only yourself to blame. Offhand, I originally created Edgar's hairstyle while I was drawing Cloud Strife one time- I wanted something different than the dominant spikey styles of the time. The longer strand's stood out for me, and has stayed with him since. Speaking of the spikey-haired fool, tonight's first submission has a little silliness. I did this up as an idea for my story, but too a long time to do: a loving tribute to the 'fish fight' scene from Sleeping Beauty. Solrac accidently cheeses off Cloud, who having checked his weapon in at the front desk, uses the catch of the day.... i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Fishfencer.jpg I spent a lot of time on the backrounds, but I wish the scanner picked up the color job a bit better- it looks strange like this. Hopefully, it gets a chuckle or two... Next up it's another pic of Edgar Volge, a slightly older one than last night's. This one I'm tossing around for a possible Castlevania fic- due to strange circumstances, he must fulfill a vow his brother made to the Belmont Clan and hunt down Dracula.... The coat turned out a little simple. If I end up doing this one again, I might do the coat in a more detailed mix of Johnathon Morris(PoR) and Vash the Stampede (Trigun), but I like how it came out. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Edgartheslayer.jpgGood news, my first test isn't til next week and my homework's nearly finished, so I might have time to come up with something. Til' next time. *EDIT* Currently working on a request.. most of the rough work is done, but it'll still take some time before it's finished...

I find this picture hilarious. I'm not surprised Solrac's face looks so surprised, considering a fish is getting pointed at him... as a weapon. The color is fine in my opinion, didn't even notice it. But what'd he say to "cheese" Cloud off though? Edgar Voldge is great. Simple, and straight to the point. It came out well... And the idea of putting him in Castlevania fan fiction, I think, is a great idea.

Oh... now wouldn't you like to know? ... though I should have put the knife near the platter since originally the gag consisted of trying to get the knife, but ends up withe the fish. I still see that clip and laugh myself silly. ;D Tonight's submission is another new face- an apprentice mage by the name of Unaki. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Unakiv2.jpgI'm still toying with his personality, other than the fact that he's intelligent and formal. This is the first real redesign of him I've done since in the past, his hair, cloak and hat have gotten on my nerves. For a little change, he's not just standing there- he's practicing his magic . *Sees Mr. Ninja* You might want to steer clear this time around. As far as my request goes, the line art's finished, but where it goes next is dependent on the the requester wants to do with it. Hopefully, I'll get his input soon. *EDIT* The first half of my request is complete. This will probably go down as my most ambitious design yet. Dragge asked for it so without further ado.... Steel yourself for the terror that is.... ABSOLUTE ZERO! *inserts obligatory thunderclap* i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/AbsoluteZero.jpgThis goes down as my most monstrous work yet. I was listening to Epistle and the theme of chaos stuck with me throughout this work. It's scary how it came out, in my opinion...

I have got to say: Fishfencer has won my heart. When people normally do pictures like that, it's usually a crappy MSPaint drawing, usually with Sonic the Hedgehog fan characters, a single "witty" line of dialogue, and OMGKAWAIIDESU~ expressions. Apparently they figure silly pictures don't deserve regular treatment. Not you. You've taken an idea that is so incredibly silly, but turned it into a masterpiece. You've given it shading, regular expressions, intense details, and, best of all, a lack of speech. You have taken a silly idea, and treated it with respect, and have therefor earned my respect and accolades (Not that that means much!) Excellent work, you have made a truly hilarious piece of art there, my friend.
On a side note, based on your Ghosts N' Goblins art, I could definately see you designing characters for Disney.
