I wanted to record the entire mission, as all I've seen on Youtube is the cutscenes. Don't mind my crappy playing. Part 1Part 2

Thanks for uploading this! I've never actually seen a play through of this; it actually looks pretty interesting to play. I never knew Yakuto Krabbe was capable of flight, though.

Very interesting my friend. After seeing this I wish that the producers had used this version of Manda/ Pokte. If they make a third game and revisit the islands they should use this in it. Anyway I like how there could have been much more fighting in the game than what happens in the fianl release. Here you go through a couple of different parts and it takes longer. In the final game you fight the Crabbot and that's litterally it. I also liked the whole air raid thing from the Draches especially since you don't see them as often as you did in the first game. Nice to see a true video on the whole thing. Do you have any thoughts of doing the other demos or was that the only one planned?

Having played through this myself already, I didn't bother to actually watch it, but great idea doing a playthrough. That's always a nifty idea. I mean, the cutscenes are nice, but part of the coolness of the beta is the playable bit.
I was also wondering what was used to record this? It looks pretty nifty.

You know a lot about this stuff Green, can't you play these if you get the psp version?

You are correct, sir. It comes along with PSP DASH 2. It's pretty nifty. I haven't actually played it in a while though. I have an ISO of it floating around on my hard drive somewhere, too. Somewhere.. I don't think I ever actually used it, though.
I also wish the game were more like this. The Bonnes didn't get nearly enough screentime in Legends 2. The demo version is just bursting with personality; it's really a shame they kind of just watered it down. That whole bit with Tron impersonating Roll.. it was good, but not great.

Do you think it'd come along in the value pack that came out?

I should think so. If it's both games on one UMD, maybe not (to save space), but I really don't see why they wouldn't include it. If it's just both UMDs, then I would think it absolutely should be on there.

Yeah, I'm think about importing the Value Pack(once I get the money, should have enough in 2 weeks). Hopefully it comes with Episode 1.
Dragge: I'm going to record the RMD1 Capcom Club demo as well.
Green: I used fraps to record this, then compressed it with WinAvi by converting it into a MPG.

Ah. I figured it had to be fraps. I'm still hoping to find a good free alternative to that myself.

Dude, awesome. I always wondered why no one did this before. Cutscenes are great, but why wouldn't we want to see the actual game in motion? Thanks for uploading 'em. You ever gonna do any of the other missions? I don't think I've actually even seen the cutscenes for those ones.

There aren't any cutscenes in the other ones, if I recall. Just some text-based dialogue. I will record those eventually, however.

I always wondered why no one did this before. Because they couldn't figure out how to get their dvd recorder to work, and then last night once they finally got everything set up right, they found out that the disc swap trick doesn't work with Japanese games. I'm not even kidding, I was getting ready to record a play through of each mission last night, but nothing electronic ever wants to work for me. anyway, thanks for uploading that, Musashi. I know a lot of people have wanted to see this for a while. I guess I need to go upload those Tatsunoko vs Capcom videos now...

I'm pretty sure there's no cutscenes in the other missions either. Just straight up playing. Also, Jorsh, what about the people who obviously had the technology to record the cutscenes? That was the idea there.

I thought it might work better recording the actual PS1 instead of an emulator. but I guess that doesn't actually work. XD
