Has anyone here heard of The Megas? They're a really cool band that cover's the music from megaman video games and then adds lyrics to it. They give the bosses personalities and sing from their point of veiw in they're level songs. Here are a couple videos to let you hear there music This one is titled "The Message From Dr. Light" This ones called Metal Dance aka Metalman This is from Metalman's stage in Megaman 2 So far they've done one album based on the soundtrack from Megaman 2 and are currently working on a Megaman 3 album Their really cool and have a good community on their forums and you can find more information about them at Their website and get their CD or other Megas related Merch.

I have heard of them. I looked up Megaman once on wikipedia and down near the bottom under cultural refrences it had their group name. Later then I got their songs for my i-pod and listen to them from time to time. They did a great job on all of their songs and would recomend them to a true Megaman fan. There's also a different video for Metal Dance which I prefer over the one you have posted.

Yeah D-structman that's the one I was talking about. The one you initially posted isn't bad but I don't like the changing between the different versions of the level however. The one I told you about seems more formal to me.

I knew about both but I posted the first one because it's newer and got more buzz on the megas forums. also it was made by a friend of the megas. Personally I like the NES version better than the Genesis Version but the footage is more impressive on the other video

Anyway I also enjoy The Annihilation of Monsteropolis. If I ever learn to play guitar it'd be that and Metal Dance I'd learn to play. Also have either of you seen the shirt "Death Does Wear Blue" shirt? It's so awesome I'd love to buy it!

I know that as of now they're doing mainly music from the original series but do you think they would do good with songs from the Legends series?

You can ask if you want. I just wanted your opinion on if they could do good with music from Legends and Legends 2.
