I had two OS's installed on my Computer, but since I was lacking in memory I removed linux to free up over 10GB of data, but after I removed Linux My Windows Vista OS crashed and now whenever it starts up it tries to repair itself but fails with this error message
Problem Event Name: StartupRepairV2 Problem Signature 01: AutoFailover Problem Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16386.0.0.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 0 Problem Signature 04: 65537 Problem Signature 05: unknown Problem Signature 06: CorruptVolume Problem Signature 07: 0 Problem Signature 08: 1 Problem Signature 09: Chkdsk Problem Signature 10: 31 OS Version : 6.0.6.000.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID : 10
I'm probably going to call customer support but, I've had bad luck with them in the past, they spoke english but had Russian accents so I couldn't understand them. So I wanted to ask here first.
I think parts of the OS were corrupted as far as I know my data's still there but the OS is screwed up. And formatting is not an option since this computer has all of my Game making Data.

put in a xubuntu live cd and copy all your game maker data to an external disk or thumb drive. Then install windows xp on your computer (or xubuntu, if you can handle it ). Haha, I think microsoft already acknowledged that vista sucks. I don't know any developers that use it.

Well what sucks is, Linux can't even open the files on the hard drive, it says it had a unclean shutdown and is still in use, so it can't mount the volume I tryed forcing it to mount with one of the commands but it still wouldn't.
(Well I finally got my computer fixed, by using a Vista recovery ISO took me awhile to find it, but atleast my computers running again. ;D)
