MERRY X-MAS peoples of Legends Station! (Happy Holidays if you don't celebrate it.) [We don't discriminate here. ;)] Family parties are boring these days.. Old people talking with old people, little kids running around screaming their heads off, and me somewhere in between, sitting around wondering where all my fellow age-group peoples went (Marines, Marines and College jsyk; and then my sister finds some way to disappear each time ) Being at one of these gatherings at the moment, you can imagine I'm a bit bored, so I figured I'd pop in and let y'all know about my haul this year, and you can feel free to do the same in turn. I got. . . Guitar Hero World TourTechnically this is mine and my little brother's, but, you know, it's my 360. Just kiddin'. I was pretty psyched about this 'til I saw the setlist. (There's some really good ones, but pretty few) I'm more of a guitar-enthusiast than anything else, but the other instruments may end up saving the game for me. And custom characters almost make up for it. (they butchered some of the regulars, though) I'll toss up a shot of my guy later probably. And, of course if anyone wants to play with me, my Gamertag is “Commander Green”. (Maybe shoot me a PM if you're gonna do that, though) Sonic Rush Adventure*sigh* My brother actually owns this already, but the little genius went and lost it a long time ago. Then conveniently enough, his DS breaks so he doesn't bother finding it. The small size of DS carts is cool, but those get lost so easily.. Anyway, I was going to steal it from him when he got bored with it, but since that's out of the question, I asked Santa for it. I haven't played it yet, but I've heard it's pretty sweet. [♥]Sonic[/♥]... A year (+1 Month) subscription to Xbox Live GoldI'm torn on this one. It came with a gift receipt so I could return it if I felt like it. I'm only a few months into my subscription to Xbox Live, and I only play Guitar Hero online. (and Street Fighter sometimes) It might be worth it if I had someone I actually know on XBL, but I don't so it's pretty meh. (I think I'm more of a single-player person) I was thinking about returning it for $$$$ and buying an actual game to play, but then what happens when my subscription runs out? ..catch-22? I dunno, I might just set it up. ClothingTwo pairs of Cargo Pants and a t-shirt that says ”I tune you out.” Pretty sweet. I've actually been wearing the same pair of pants every day lately, so the cargo pants are a nice relief. I miss cargo pants; no one seems to wear those any more. (I used to see them all the time!) The t-shirt is pretty slick too. That's it at the moment. Due to some errors in scheduling, we're celebrating X-mas on my dad's side of the family on New Years, so there might be something else coming soon. The gf supposedly has something pretty nice for me too. ♥ ♥ And.. yeah. That's all for now.

I had a pretty good time at my house, anyways I got
Sonic chronicles of the dark brotherhood I've been interested since it's the first Sonic RPG, havent played it yet been addicted to another game I got.
I also got Kirby Super Star Ultra the game I've been addicted to, since I started playing it I just wish they would of used Wifi for Co-op rather then local Wireless.
Another game I got was Sonic Unleashed, It's pretty funny I ran into a wall and K.Od Sonic, Although it's boring at first because of how long the tutorials are.
No Mega Man games this year though...

I didn't get anything too interesting this time around. So far I got a box of crackers, two jackets, a hat, gloves, and a box of Goldfish (the crackers). That's not all of the gifts, though; my dad mentioned that I could still ask him for something seeing as he actually hasn't shopped yet, so I'm planning on finally getting a copy of MoTB!
My Christmas was fairly eventful otherwise though. I got to hang with the family during the evening, and I had a good dinner. This Christmas seemed a little awkward this year; it practically caught me off guard. If anything I was just happy of have a break from school, but I still enjoyed myself nonetheless.

Oh krikey.. I should've asked for Kirby Super Star Ultra! Crap! I'm surprised there's no WiFi in that, though.. way to drop the ball, Nintendo. My brother got Sonic Chronicles, too. If he doesn't go and lose that one I might steal it from him later. He's having a fun time playing it now, though. I'm still not sure how I feel about a Sonic RPG... I heard it has Swatbots though! Score! As for Sonic Unleashed, I've heard mixed reviews about that.. I was thinking about getting it but I might look for a demo first. I feel ya on the tutorials, though. I just got past most of them in Sonic Rush Adventure a little bit ago. There aren't many MegaMan games to be had this year. If you've got MegaMan 9, you're good. If not, get to it, man! I'm hoping ZX3 may be in the works for sometime this year.

I just got home from a family gathering as well, it was actually fun for once, we played Mario Kart and Wii Sports (weird that I've never played Wii sports even though I own it....Mario Kart was a blast)
I'm very happy with my presents this year! I got... Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner Ebay ftw! Been looking for this game forever!
Super Mario Galaxy A complete surprise, I was not expecting to get this!! Of course, I still have a million other games to play, but I'm really looking forward to this one.
Hand Cream What can I say? A girl has to have her hand cream in a variety of smells.
A giant Turtwig plushie Probably my favourite. He's amazing. I love Pokemon. And Turtwig. <3
If it counts, I also bought myself some presents. Mega Man Star Force: Leo (I already have Dragon and Pegasus, but uh....I wanted to have all 3 >_>), No More Heroes (Wii) and Zack and Wiki (Wii), each were $9.96 so I thought "why not?"
Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!

I got a PSP(unfortunately, it's a 3000, so it can't be hacked...yet), a few t-shirts, Orange Box, and a watch. Not bad.

Hang in there, don't go upgrading the firmware... *SIGH* I was furious when I found out whatever version mine'd been shipped with became hackable. “It's impossible” they said, “It'll never happen” they said, so I just went ahead with the official Sony updates, then I find out the hackers beat Sony once again, but I ended up with the next “unhackable version. . .” Then that «Pandora's Battery» thing came around. Ahhh... «Pandora's Battery. . .» ♥ Of course, you have little to worry about. Not much reason to upgrade a PSP when developers don't even bother making solid PSP games. That system is all about the hacks. (Don't get me wrong: I love that)

I know, that's why I want to hack it so bad.

...Am I the only one here who didn't get anything game related? Nope, I didn't either. More than likely enough I'll end up buying myself a copy of MoTB.
P.S. Weavile avatar? Nice. ;D
I really don't think that game even needs WiFi; the game itself is an even better remake of an already great game. It's got challenge, replay value, and just all-around goodness. I was actually playing that along with Pokemon Diamond yesterday. Pretty fun stuff.

I got a spiff bike with one of those baskets on the back for transporting things...like small yappy black dogs that need to go to the pound.
That, and No More Heroes, the customary gift-bag-o-soaps-and-shower-gels-that-every-girl-winds-up-getting-at-least-once-a-Christmas, a candle, some Mozart, a vegetable peeler, a jewelry box, dish towels, a reed diffuser, pot holders, prank post-its, monogrammed post-its with the wrong monogram, a sweater that looks like you'd have had to kill several poodles to make it, and striped socks.
Hey, everyone's got to get duds once in a while. XD

Let’s see... Money, gift cards, a cooling platform for my laptop, some nunchucks (The Wii kind, not the ninja kind. I would have been quite happy with either, though.), and a box of pricey gel pens. Also, a PS3. Life is good right now. Shame I don’t find as much time to play videogames these days. Cargo pants are actually pretty much all I wear these days when going out. And I also tend to wear my pants several days in a row. I usually alternate between two throughout the week. Glad to know I’m not alone.
