I remember when I first started playing this game and I had to use a strategy guide, one of the big secrets/mysteries in the game was what the sewer in the city that takes you from downtown to the ruins outside the market. No one knew what was down there, but something about it seemed like it was important. I loved this game cuz of the unexplained stuff for all those years, but I'm a big boy now and I can handle the truth.
So, does anyone know anything about the sewer?

You mean the black rectangle in the middle of the street downtown? Like you said, it leads to the ruins, although I don't quite remember which place it is exactly. I think it's near the first entrance in front of the city wall where you rescued the junk store man.

When you go to save the Junk Store owner, there's an unreachably high ledge that you pass by. The sewer area leads to that high ledge.
I'm not sure what other truth there would be to the sewer..

Yea I remember that you could get to that ledge via the sewer, but some people who made walkthroughs that I used seemed to think that the sewer had some kind of background to it, like it had to do with the mystery of the island.

I think that's really just because you can't see beyond the wall, but there appears to be an area through it. Honestly, I'm pretty sure it's just the sewer-system. ; Kinda like that little area in Forbidden Island that's just out of your reach: it's more than likely that nothing's there, but since you aren't able to explore it.. people's imaginations run wild with the possibilities.

I've used a walk-through walls code to get on to the water. It leads no where. Case closed.

There could still be a secret over there even though it isn't in the game. It'd be the sort of thing revealed in some form of new release, etc.. I personally don't like thinking along those lines, but I'm just saying.. I don't think he meant that there was anything there in the game, just that it's an "unexplained mystery" type thing.

I've still got hope that they'll explain something in a new release. Kind of like a secret thing among the creators that only they know, like that Nintendo has a chronology of all the Zelda games and how they are tied together. There's just no way for us to know right now I guess. I won't get my hopes up anyway, I just like talking about the secrets like this one.

You are slowly coming over to the Darth side, man with a billion names. When I had my first go around with the Legends 1, I wondered just like the rest of you. Then after wards blamed Capcom for making those evil invisible walls.

I don't believe it's anything personally.. I think if they meant for something to be relevant, they would've put it in the game. Exceptions are scrapped ideas, but those usually have some left-overs inside the game that are inaccessible by normal means. Stuff like this is great for fanfiction though. ..but I hate fanfiction.. so yeah. (p.s., I've been on the Darth side before.. didn't care for it much :P)

When I first played Legends, I didn't know there was a sewer. I learned of it after many game plays and used the jump springs to get on the ledge. I was excited to find it at first until I found out it only went to Downtown. ^^;

You didn't know about that? I didn't even need a strategy guide.

I randomly found it exploring, I've been wondering "What's the point of this?", but I guess I got my answer. It's simply there cause they could put it there. Makes you wonder why they didn't put in more.
