I play country while I play games. I'm not sure why I just do. Most of the time the music doesn't match the game I'm playing anyway. For example, I'm shooting Reaverbots then I love song pops up.

If you think country and reaverbots are a weird combination, I used to listen to boy bands while beating up reaverbots. If that isn't weird, I don't know what is.

Certain types of music suit certain types of games better than others. I myself believe that Sonic Aventure 2: Battle had one of the BEST fitting soundtracks for a game, ever. A mix of pop-punk, ska, techno, trance, hip hop, R&B, everything. Oh my, the Metal Harbor ska song THAT SONG IS FREGGIN' AMAZING! SOOO CATCHY!!! *explodes from all the enthusiasm* But yeah, Super Mario Sunshine's soundtrack, as well. And Yoshi's Island. Ya' know. *blasts off into a re-enforced steel wall, leaving the shape of my body in it, in a wacky pose*

Man, they just can't make another Sonic game that good (although I've never played the old ones). I still sing Eggman's music pretty often, and really, pretty much everyone's was good. Everyone has a song with full audio. Also, the Pumpkin Hills music owns, considering that it's a rap in a video game. I still get nostalgiac listening to Megaman Legends music. I really hope we get a MML3... Now I want to turn on my PSP and listen to the Glyde Train Battle music, which is definitely the owningest. .... Lufia 2 had great music.

Now I want to turn on my PSP and listen to the Glyde Train Battle music, which is definitely the owningest. WHAT THE WOOF I don't see how anyone could prefer Glyde's Train Theme to the Bonne's. The Bonne's Train Theme just has such power...such energy...Glyde's sounds inferior and whiny in comparison if you ask me. I mean, it's my favourite track in the whole game. That and the Elysium Side Area. The both reek in the sweet stench of owning...ness...es. Seriously. I'd be happy to sing it to you to prove it if you don't believe me. *Prepares microphone* Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3...testing...

Dear Gesselshaft('d) Gal, I have not yet downloaded the Bonne version of the music. I might actually like it better. But I kind of like the droning, whiny parts myself. Maybe that just goes into my oddball quality of liking unlikeable things, like Loathe? Nope, I listened over it, and Glyde's owns the Bonnes'. Not that the Bonnes is bad, but I really don't like the beat as well as Glyde's. The added beats detract from it, I think. *is hit by the IN-ALL-LIKELYHOOD-WRONG-BOMB Xty 5*

I listen to random stuff. I don't just listen to one type of music. I hate rap and hip-hop though.
I like MML music alot. = P I listen to the ending theme of MML2 alot. It's my favorite.
I'd have to say my favorite band is Disturbed.

Well the genre "Heavy Rock" like kattelox said is actually either "Heavy metal", or "Hard rock". Lars Frederikson and the Bastards and Judas Priest could be examples of Hard Rock, I guess... As for Heavy Metal, there's Black Sabbath, and maybe Blue Oyster Cult. I tryed mixing them, because I don't listen to anything like that. I didn't want anyone to think I listened to stuff like that. The most popular band I like is... Nine inch nails. Thats the best example of music I can think of.

I like classical music, maybe a little jazz once in a blue moon. But for the most part, I'm into VG music, a good bit of Final Fantasy, maybe some Castlevania on the side. One of my favorites of the later is Prayer and Requiem for the Gods. If anyone's interested, I can recommend a good site.

I'm not the kind of guy that's diverse in musical tastes but whatever. Nontheless I love listeneing to everything ska. It's just so amazing for me. I usually just listen to that but if I won't shun everything else. If I hear a punk song, or a hip hop song, or a metal song, or a techno song that I like, I'll listen to it. Heck maybe even buy the album if it's good enough.
Overall I usually listen to one style but I'll give other ones a chance, I'm usually very surprised at their greatness

I listen to mostly Pop-Punk/Hardcore/Emo with sum rap. I know eveyone will think I'm homo but my fav band is Fall Out Boy. idk why. There are a LOT of better bands in the terms of skill at instruments (a.k.a. Rufio omj yeeessneess), but I just like FOB. I also listen to a lot of Pharrell and N.E.R.D., and Clipse. Taking Back Sunday is gud. Cute Is What We Aim For is gud. Gym Class Heroes is gud. Bob Marley & the Wailers is real gud. Chiodos is sexi. Between the Buried and Me is beastly.
