This has been my 3D project for the past month. Although it's still incomplete, I feel that it's good enough to post. Full SizeFront ViewSide ViewThis is my first attempt at making a human(oid) model. I've been learning as I go and still have a ways to go until it's complete and fully posable The skeleton isn't deforming the mesh correctly, as you can see in the armpits. I still need to make the bracelets and heels. A few things also need fixing and redoing, such as the arm markings. If I manage to finish her, I'll probably try to make Sera using this model as a base. Most of the body was made from her pictures, so it probably wouldn't be that difficult. Comments? Criticism? If I screwed something up, please tell me!

Oooh my.. She's quite nice looking. I'm not sure what to say..: I don't know much about 3D, but I think I know a thing or two about Yuna. Some parts seem a little awkward, but I don't think anything's wrong really. Something seems kind of off about the hair; parts of it don't seem sharp enough. I wish I could exist in 3D so I could examine her more closely. What? Who said that..? C'mon, that's not appropriate. Umm.. heh. Yeaaah.. *walks away*

I like those 3-D pics! I'd love for you to do Bola or even Juno.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the hair. I still need to work on that some more. The hair was one of the hardest parts for me, so I just left it once it was looking okay. LOL. I made the dress separately from the body, so...it is removable. xD I don't think it would be a good idea to post pictures of the body, although I guess it's nothing worse than naked Sera. I like those 3-D pics! I'd love for you to do Bola or even Juno. Juno would be fun to try sometime. I'll keep that in mind.

I'm glad you knew what I meant about the hair; I had a hard time figuring it out. lolzors, posting Yuna model pics sans-dress is probably a bad idea. Let's not do that, eh?

I concur, seeing as it'd be a direct violation of Major Infraction #1.

I made a couple of interesting renders today. Work's still in progress. Bat Yuna! I'm not exactly sure how this one happened. It was probably caused by me making changes to the model when I had already made shape keys for facial expressions. I had to start all over on them. Introducing the Yuna action figure! Now featuring creepy zombie eyes! The model after being run through the Indigo renderer for three hours. It makes amazing images, but it takes hours to get decent quality. My other pictures were made with the internal renderer, which only took about thirty seconds. There are a lot of problems with it, but I really don't feel like redoing it and waiting another three hours.

Since I'm still an amateur at 3D models, I have a poor eye on offering advice. Still, you might want to make her neck a tad longer and thin her waist a bit. Her eyes also need shading - no eyes are pure white, they can be a visual distraction. I recommend you draw and colour your own eyes in Photoshop to give a greater depth to the shading. It would bring a bit more life to the character than simply having flat, opaque discs in her head. Keep at it.
