*edited upon revelations brought about by Ay* And now for something a little different: a MM anime that has NOTHING to do with battle network, zero, or star force! ;D ;D I found this somewhat obscure OVA on youtube a few minutes ago. This one is based on the Classic series (no, it's not the half-baked US version, if you're thinking that right now: this one was done a while afterwards as stated in the disclaimer). I won't say too much, but I will say that the art reflects Inafune's original art style posthumously. For those who wish to see for themselves, click on the following address: youtube.com/watch?v=5VCvabIE9jk&mode=related&search=This is something I thought would be a bit worthy to bring to attention to the good folks of the Legends Station Forums, so ... enjoy.

Did Doctor Wily actually utter the words "Good-bye, dear" With a Japanese accent? Seriously though, that was way cool, the moves he does in the opening video are awesome, and I love the way the Japanese speak! The concept is nice as well, Wily and Megaman coming into the real world and all...(which by the way, the Megaman game in the show seems to play better than the actual games ) I loll'd when Wily fell out the window and when Megaman and Rush came out of the T.V. I also noticed that Megaman's footsteps make a sound not unlike those of Megaman Volnutt. How many episodes did the make though? I can only see up until part 4 of the first episode on youtube. btw, what's the music that plays when they show the disclaimer at the beginning? I'm assuming it's from one of the classic games. Also, what's an OVA? I have no idea...

In the anime industry, this refers to series that have very short runs. Other times, a well-known series may also include stories that fit into categories like this. Right now, I'm playing Daxter, so I only recorded this 4-part bit into my computer for later viewing. As far as I know this is only a one episode thing. I'll be seeing it later on when I can find an opportunity.

Ahh...I figured as much. It's a shame though, it looked like it could've become a really cool anime series. It seemed to capture the game's spirit quite well, too. So...you did end up getting a PSP after all, huh Sir Osis?

So...you did end up getting a PSP after all, huh Sir Osis? That I have, Axel. I got me an ice silver model last sunday. And already I've acquired most of the games I've wanted (Maverick Hunter X is a superb remake, I love it! . I'm planning on adding Megaman Powered if all goes well next week. It makes me a little sad that Wuas is only a one episode thing, but last I recalled ADV might have been planning to release this in america, as from what I hear, it also had an english dub (done by the Ocean Group who also did the US version). I also wish I could get my hands on the Dragon Warrior series, but there's no way in heck you can acquire it without resorting to bootlegging. Oh well, I'm happy at least to share this gem with everyone at the forum.

Psssssh......... Old old news, mate. I watched this back about four or five years ago. Two out of three parts, anyway. Wolf Pack Productions subtitled all Three episodes of this show, but shortly after they released the Third episode, I think Capcom offiically released it on our end of the world. I just missed WPP's sub.. Incidentally, mate... this was before Rockman EXE, MegaMan Zero, AND Star Force. It's from 1993( ∗). “Finally” couldn't be further from the right word. This is supposedly available, to buy, here. Look around for it, I'll bet you can find it. There was a dub.

But since most people here have wanted to see something like this, I only said what I said out of the respect that it hasn't been brought to attention here 'til earlier today. Moving on, I've enjoyed this OVA, plenty of laughs and a little interesting bits on the side.

Yeah, I sort of figured it was from the late eightie/early nineties or something...I still find it better than any ExE and/or Star Force show I've ever seen. You mean it was translated into English and all? Well, I guess it was done by the Ocean Group that dubbed it, like Sir Osis said. Wasn't it just Dragon Warrior V that was only released in Japan? There may have been a few others, but as far as I know, most of them were released in North America, weren't they? oops, getting a bit off topic here... I see you took my advice then Oops, I'm straying even further off topic.
