Well just about every topic I start pretty much turns out to be a total flop so I'm not holding out much hope for this, but is anyone else totally in love with the Onegai Teacher anime/manga?
If you haven't heard of it, it's about a boy named Kei(pronounced "Kay") who finds out that his teacher Kazami(Kah-zah-mee) is an alien, and then a bunch of stuff happens, and they end of getting married so as to keep both of them from gettting into serious trouble, and all sorts of stuff happens. It's like a great story. I hope at least ONE person here's seen it. Anyone that hasn't I recommend it. Mm-kay. I'm done.

I haven't seen the anime, but I've read both (yes, there are only 2) volumes of the manga, and it's kind of weird, but still really addictive! So addictive, in fact, that I checked out Go Zappa's other "series" Onegai Twins. Even though Onegai Twins was an actual BOOK instead of a manga, it was still just as entertaining as Teacher, and I highly recommend it if you liked Onegai Teacher.

The manga is pretty much a shortened version of the anime. The story's are just about the same and stuff. And yeah, I own both volumes too.
I've seen Twins and it's nothing compared to Teacher. In fact I'd have to say that it pretty much sucked. I don't know, I just found it terribly boring. And it turned the characters from Onegai Teacher all weird and stuff... I dunno I just didn't like it at all. =/

I actually do know where you can find subtitled episodes, I think even in ultra high quality(like DVD quality if not BETTER ), but linking to it would be illegal since I'm quite sure it's been liscenced. Sorry!

The Twins book is a LOT better than the anime, I think. But then again, I like reading a lot better than watching TV (don't hit me). But then again, if you know the story, it's all just pointless to read the book because you know what happens anyway.

Have you seen the anime for Onegai Twins? Quite a yawn-fest I must say... though maybe it was just hard for me to stay interseted in because no aliens were involved except Mizuho, who they turned into a total ditz..

Nope, and I don't think I want to. I'll stick with books for now .

Well it totally pales in comparison to the Please Teacher anime. What they did to the characters was unjust. Ichigo turns into this total stalker person really creepy like(even to the point of having hidden cameras in places where people are... nevermind), Matagu seems to have some kinky obsession with Haruko(who if I'm not mistaken was is his sister), Mizuho is turned into some clueless ditz(honestly, she was a little gullible, but she wasn't THAT stupid), Kei makes a few appearences but I don't think he says a single word(maybe they couldn't get his VA or something), I dunno if Kaede and Hyosuke are seen at all apart from ep13. Stupid stuff. I personally wish they would've left all the Teacher characters out. It woulda made a fine story on its own.
