But what happens when there's 100 non mods...
Trust me, there'll be need for 15 mods.
I have a plan....

Ah, a new video game site in the works. Oh glorious day! Wait a sec. I don't want to discourage anyone from pursuing a dream, but do you really have any idea what you're getting into? You're talking about a major video game site, covering all the bases in every single company and console, right? Let me make a comparison here... Planet Mega Man is the biggest and most successful MM site out there (rivaled only by MMN). Let's take a look at how your site measures up with theirs... PMM is trying to cover all the MM series out there, approximately 40 games total. MGB is trying to cover all video games out there? Approximately 10,000 games total? PMM is expensive to keep up, and hosted by Zelda Universe. MGB is looking to make a huge site off of free hosts? PMM has a staff of about 8 members, all of them professionals who have their own sites or else have spent years working for other sites. MGB has 1 person who doesn't even know HTML, asking anyone out there for help? PMM, despite their professionalism, still has problems, and still has areas of their site which are not complete. MGB, hopes to be huge, starting with nothing? Okay, I'm done with the analysis. All I'm saying is, as a webmaster who started from scratch, I had a lot of problems, and I still had a lot more web knowledge than you when I began MMLS. It takes a heck of a lot of work and dedication to make a web site, and I greatly urge you to rethink this thing through. Not give up, heavens no, but start small! When you start small, you can grow and add to the site as much as you want. When you aim big right off the bat, it becomes overwhelming to have a million unfinished sections waiting. Believe me, I know! But it's just a friendly suggestion, do as you like! As for your PM asking to use our set of rules, which is why I came to this thread in the first place, the answer is yes, and no. You may look at MMLS Forum's rules, and give yours the exact same rules if you like, but you may NOT copy and paste our rules. Meaning, you can take the same rules and structure, but you need to type them up yourself, and in your own words. Don't copy my exact words, because that would be stealing, fair enough?

it was me who put the
"that was a stupid idea... LETS DO IT AGAIN" not not my name, he isn't that crazy.
If he pulls it off, great, if he doesn't who cares, he will probably try again
not my name could be coder, I am crazy phycotic video game fan who will make (up...) and find information, and if I don't have enough time due to MMLE, I'll leave like nothing happened, and everyone who was there would send me hate mail for leaving.
KingReaverBot, 4 mods were on at the same time, we kept editing each others bost, banning me, messing with UBB code, it was awesome.

Hello people XD lol I actually have something to add GO ME! well I'm sure fab and some of the other members here remember this but I started a site as well let me explain. *ahem* I started a site called Megaman Legends Eternity AKA MMLE but before I got anywhere near MMLE I starteedd with a site called Megaman LEgends Corner and I had NO IDEA what I was doing so it died, then I came out with the Roll Caskett Shrine which over time became part of my newest and probably the most popular site I had MMLE. Well MMLE eventually died because I couldn't keep up with updating it so it's dead and gone but is remembered the only sites I own now are The "Angel of Serenity" formally known as the Roll Caskett Shrine, the "Shadow Land Homepage (TSL)" which was for a forum I am a proud veteran on and the last and probably the biggest one "Network Legends" and all three still are alive just dead in the update part, school sucks majorly doesn't it? My point here is I started big and it got me into a mess of trouble I was like you I didn't know HTML and I relied on free hosters and I still do but my sites almost look professional now thanks to a few of my friends who taught me some basics fab and SuperDanny were the major ones but starting big will eventually kill your site and your determination my case is different seeing as I never quit, and never have just improved from my mistakes and boy did I make big ones XD, some of you may remember some of them XD *hopes they don't* what I'm saying is start small and work up and I'm living proof that bigger isn't always better. Ok relentless rant is done. XD

Oh yeah, It was good...
You know, fab, you haven't put me down - in fact, I see it as a challenge!
My site WILL be successful, and HUGE, like I wanted!
Of course, like you said, not of the bat, but nothing if ever given to you on a silver platter.
Oh, and fab, you made me laugh for half-an-hour straight - that's a hard thing to do.
Sorry JMC... I edited my earlier post.
And for mass editing without reason, Notmyname (aka Satan) and KingReaverBot have been SPAM Warned for a month!
fab, I love your job! Admin status is just too good...

GUYS! If you have problems with the admin from one forum, you don't go ranting about it on another. PM me ON THE RIGHT FORUM if you've got issues on how I run the forum.
KingReaverBot, you aren't a mod anymore not because of your mod-happy ways. I am reconsidering this whole "everyone at MMLS can be a mod" thing. The mod staff I have now is the mod staff that I am keeping for a while.
We have many unfilled positions, if you want to have a look through them!
