These are things to watch out for once my fanfic is on the Net.
1. Me being the main character, and the story from my POV 2. Characters from a few other games. 3. MML characters (all of them, as far as the main ones go) 4. Tron and Roll having a crush on me (I know you'll hate this thing, but I want no part of the crush and just want to be friends with them) 5. A wacky theory on how we get ideas about the future and past 6. Juno becoming good, learning how to talk like the rest of us, and getting a new body, hair style and color, and voice. 7. Me and a friend of mine beating up Mega Man because he says things to make us mad 8. Hilarity 9. fab and Feldinaut making appearances! (I don't need your names, you will just be referred to as fab and Feldinaut) 10. Me getting armor and an Armored Core, fab getting a flying, even more heavily-armed Bruno-like robot, and Feldinaut getting a souped-up Feldinaut with an AC body and head on top. 11. Still working on it...

What do you think of the Roll and Tron with a crush on me but with me wanting no part of it?
PS: fab and Feldinaut, do I have your permission to put you in my story?

I just think your going to fill the spot of MegaMan, thats what I think your trying to do. The Fanfic will probably flop, It just doesn't sound that interesting to me, and I may read it, but just out of curiosity. I have never read a story where the writer is part of it, in a MML fanfic at least. One word of caution, with you in the story you may start to go far off, and the longer you do the more crappy the story will be.(thats good english for you

I won't. And besides, I'm already writing this in a notebook.
Mega Man IS in the story.

I know, but I can already tell your settong yourself up to be a MAJOR part of the story.
Its really hard not to make yourself the center of the story, not the your point of view is a bad thing, try not to let the story revolve around you 100% of the time.

It's not gonna. Anyway, I'll tell you what's happening with the other characters since I'm always with them.

Self-insertion stories rarely turn out to be any good. That's not intended to be an insult, it's just a fact. Maybe you could make yourself the stupid sidekick or something (like Corporal Capeman from Inspector Gadget), because that would at least be original.

I agree with aarond (*rappin' cool*). I used to write self-insert fics a time ago. I thought they were the greatest things ever... But really, nobody enjoyed them but me. When you write self-inserts, the audience you're writing to is yourself. Think about it this way: How many well-known books can you think of that feature the author as a main character? The only ones I can think of are non-fictional autobiographies. What's the reason for this? I think it's because it's nearly impossible to accurately write about yourself outside of your self. When you write about what's going on inside of you, your thoughts and feelings, nobody can contest that. Writing about yourself out of the realm of reality, however, is pretty much a guessing game. So what you should ask yourself is who you're writing this for: yourself, or Legends fans? If you're going to make yourself a character in it, I'm afraid the answer can't be "both." And if you are only writing this for yourself, go right ahead. Just don't expect the rest of us to find it quite as fantastic as you do. That's just the way it goes with self-inserts, I'm afraid to say. As for me being in the story, I have to say I'm flattered, but no. A brief, several-sentence cameo is fine if you really, really want to have me pop up somewhere, but nothing more than that, please.

OK, and it's not a self-insertion; Legends characters come to OUR world. So it's a Legends insertion.

not to be rude, thats dumber than a self insertion story. I can't agree with a type of story like that at all. And if you're one of the characters within a Legends fan fic, its still a self insertion

11. Kattelox Island appearing on Earth!

Thats even stupider than Characters appearing in our world. If you're to do something like that, you better have some logical reasoning

About that wacky theory, it's just for the story and to give an explanation as to why there are Legends characters in our world. It's that aliens beam ideas into our heads, and a certain few which show a serious like for certain games and play them very well test those people by giving them some sort of scavenger hunt in which they get 5 grand and their favorite characters appearing in the real world. However, the part about their favorite characters appearing in their world is revealed to them by the characters themselves.
12. Yuna and Sera getting chased around the park in their original bodies, but out of weapon power, by a Sharukurusu. (referred to as Guards, Stealth Guards, or Red Guards)
FYI: Everyone is a major part of the story.

...
Um.
I have something to say but it's already been said. Self-insertions do NOT work. The Tron and Roll crushing on you even if you don't want it is nagging me really bad though. Why not leave that issue just on Megaman's shoulders?
Remember my Mary-Sue, Gary-Stu thing awhile back? Yeah, major character crushing on a self-insertions or original character... That is a Sueish tendency.
Just write this for yourself and keep it to yourself much as I write things for myself and keep them to myself?
