Yeah! I actually got off my lazy butt and wrote a fan fic. I've had the idea for for months, and I was finally motivated enough to write it. It does have spoilers in it, so you have to have beaten the game to fully enjoy it. I realize probably a small number of you have beaten it, but whatever. It's basically an alternate ending of Final Fantasy X. Well, here's the link: www.fanfiction.net/s/2174167/1/

That was well-written, but I really, really like the way Final Fantasy X ended originally, so...there we are. But keep writing, really, it was good. Also, check out my (one and only) Final Fantasy X fanfic on the site, also, if you feel like it. www.fanfiction.net/s/1058712/1/I also wrote you a review on the ff.net site, just to be polite, of course.

*Sighs* I've had a falling out with Final Fantasy X. I used to think that was so cool, and someday I'd have enough power to sink someone in stone and make them an Aeon for a set period of time, but unfortuneately it wasn't to be so. Eventually I discovered where Aeon, the word, comes from.
Long story short, if you haven't heard of Manism (Manicee) then I'd be wasting my time trying to explane it. However the theories in that game come from about two worlds over and is just trouble. Lets just say if you're a Christian or a Jew, then it's utter blasphomy, in the worst way. If you're an anarchist, or a devil worshiper then you might want to look into it, but it's very well hidden, and if you aren't really looking for it then you'll never find it.
Otherwise, FFX was a good game. I don't go through exception to read about it, but it was worth the money.

Ah, not bad GWP, not bad at all. I agree with aarond that it was well-written, so I hope you'll churn out a few more over the Christmas break.
Now, you can ignore this part if you want. As for what BM 1-3 was talking about....
Well BM 1-3, if you look hard enough almost every Japanese RPG has some sort of blasphemous element and itfs usually directed towards Christians, Jews, or some other religion.
For example, Xenosaga and its portrayal of Catholicism and one of the many heretical cults, Gnosticism (Gnosticism is the thought and practice, especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries, distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis which is the esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth) They had plenty in that game from upside down crosses to Mr. 666 himself (Jr. has a 666 on his hand). It's just how things are nowadays, but I just tend to ignore it. It isn't hard to see the parallels between things mentioned in the game and various religions. Xenosaga also used other terms such as rubedo*. Considering how common it is these days you'd be missing out on some good games if you avoided every little game that had such an element in it.
* Aside from meaning Reddening, it is a term that describes the final process of Alchemy.
Now, I'd love to go on and on about this, but I'm guessing you don't want to. Besides, this is neither the time nor the place... uhhh... sorry GWP, I didn't mean to drag that out so much...

Oh yes the Gnostics... How I hate them...
It's hard to find balance in Japanese Culture, like in Witch Hunter Robin, while they have no idea, they don't seem to utterly detest the Catholic Church. I like the stance in Outlaw Star the best, they don't address the subject which is better than trying to keep everybody happy. Stupid, stupid, stupid Kim Possible.
