No need to repeat the subject, but if you have a few minutes, check out my alternate-reality story on this link, at least until it goes up at the Station: www.fanfiction.net/s/1841954/1/And please give me lots of feedback to nourish my fragile ego.

Wow... this is long... I've only read the first part so far, but it's pretty good. It's exactly the kind of writing all my English teachers like: lots of action verbs instead of transitive verbs, very descriptive, and proper grammar. I like it, it's very entertaining. I rather be reading this then my stupid book I have to read over the summer.

FYI, GW. Those are pet peeves of teachers. You can use any verb you want at any time. It's not a rule of English. It's something the teachers want to see so they don't get bored.

Yes, PLEASE, kids. Read this story. Read it. READ IT NOW.
Read it because it's great. And awesome. Don't let its length scare you away because every chapter kept me thoroughly entertained. Rarely do I find a fic that I actually ENJOY reading, maintains a consistent level of quality, and does justice to the games all at once. This fic has something to make everyone happy. Seriously.
...Read it so I can make Quackard jokes and people will actually know what I'm talking about.
Enough advertising. READ. IT.

Nope. Not gonna. I don't read fanfics. It just takes too much time and I have a phone connection, even if I do go on late at night. I don't even read books, with the exception being Harry Potter.
So fanfics are a stretch, especially long ones.

Isn't it kind of pointless for you to even enter this thread if you don't read fan fics? o.o

Oh, come on, fab. We can't even make conversation without having to worry about spam. ...There is plenty of conversation going on in this place that doesn't break the rules, in case you hadn't noticed. This is supposed to be a thread for discussion and commenting on aarond's story. I don't see how going off on a tangent informing GWParoahMan54 of something he didn't ask about (nor did he even imply that he thought it was a rule of English in the first place) has any relevance to this topic. Not to mention the fact that it's clear you have no intention of reading or commenting where the story is concerned, so your presence in this thread is rather meaningless in the first place. In addition, I'd like to take an excerpt from the rules: 02. Do not disrespect the Mods or Admin if they correct you.If you want to dispute a SPAM Warning from now on, a PM will do fine, no need to mess up a topic with it. Since you made your comment here, I felt obligated to answer it here, but as far as this thread is concerned, it is not to be discussed further.

*tosses a shovel aside and brushes the remaining dirt off the long-buried topic* fab can ban me if he wants! I say it's better to dig up this old topic than to start a new one! Oh wait... I'm fab! MWAHAHAHA!
*cough* Um yeah, I managed to finally grab some time to start reading the highly-acclaimed fic! Just like I promised! As I anticipated from others' reviews and my own judgement from quick glances when I originally posted it on the site, this is looking to be a cut above the usual!
I've read through the first 10 chapters so far and yes, I honestly am enjoying it! It's got a few flaws, or rather places where it assumes things about the world of Legends, but most them aren't "wrong" so much as speculation, so they can be easily forgiven.
My favorite part, even though you could see it coming a mile and a half away, was... As if to answer MegaMan's question, a large metal fist propelled its way through the bank's front doors, shattering the glass. MegaMan stood in shock as another identical hand forced itself through the doorway. Both hands exerted force upward, lifting the entire front wall off the building, leaving the bank open to the air. "Pirates!" someone shouted.
MegaMan stood agape as a large robot, with two massive legs to complement the arms and a protruding, bulbous torso to match. The robot flung its arms with accuracy, knocking policemen and security guards aside. MegaMan was stunned. What should he do? Should he do anything? The robot was approximately 23.8 feet from him now. Judging from its size, he estimated the robot's weight at around 4 tons.
An amplified voice emerged from the robot's body. "All right! This is a holdup! Why don't you save yourselves some trouble and open the safe? We're going to take it all anyway." Hmm, the voice was odd, high-pitched like a girl's. A perfectly captured Bonne entrance! I will be reading more soon. I encourage others to as well!

^ One of those rare, unforgettable posts!
And heck, this story was one of those rare, unforgettable fan fics! I just finished up the final chapter, and I really must compliment you on a job well done! Just the size of the thing is extraordinary, not to mention the fact that it's well written, stays true to the feel of the series, keeps the original characters in-character for the most part, and makes fan characters insteresting! Fantastic job, I wish there were more Legends fics like this out there!
On the downside, for the sake of future improvement (as I read you were working on a sequel), I have to bring up a few things that bugged me. For one, I realize this is an alternate reality story and you therefore have more leverage than the average fan fic, but the (SPOILERS!) sudden Yuna-Trigger relationship at the end seemed totally out of the blue... Also, everyone has a few points of confusion where the Legends plot is concerned, but I got the impression you were referring to Elysium as Eden, when they are in fact very different things (though perhaps you've come to realize that since you wrote it).
Aside from those and a few more minor nit-picks though, I really did enjoy it and will certainly be looking forward to the continuation!

Thanks for the comments. Believe it or not, I didn't even read them until just now. I'm still not 100% on the Eden-Elysium thing; I still think it's probably just a mistranslation. As for Yuna + Trigger, I don't think that's totally out of the question, but you'll notice that she's more into it than he is. Also, I thought it would make things more interesting. Both Yuna and Sera seem to have odd fascinations with MegaMan.
