^ Just what the title says. i56.photobucket.com/albums/g182/Musashi999/SpriteTemplate.pngI might actually make the base into a full template for sprites in RMXP, if I get enough complements and or critizism on it in another forum. I'm also thinking of making the guy I sprited a character for the Rp forum, but I haven't came up with a name for him yet. Can anyone please give me some C&C(Comments and Critizisim) on it? Also please don't let this thread die out in two seconds like my other one did..

Did you do these from scrap? Or did you have a base?

I actually made the base myself, the thing on the left, then did the Claw Guy, then did the walking poses for him, and I forgot I had to do the bases one too(for the RMXP template version) so I made it based on the Claw guys walking.

Wow. That's quite impressive... I always need a base for my sprite stuff. Very nice!

Changed the walking base abit, added folds on the claw guys pants for his walking animation, and started a slash animation. ^^

Nice sprites. You are good at this but why is your sprite naked?

Ooooh, I can answer that. It's not naked, it's a base for other sprites. It's basically a doll sprite, where you can modify it, dress it up, put physical features on it and such. That way, say you're making a bunch of sprites in the same style, you don't have to worry about being inconsistent with them. You can make different characters, but all in the same physical dimensions, and they'll all move the same way, should you opt for animation..
They're pretty good. Better than anything I've done. Of course, I've not really yet ventured into the realm of isometrics, nor do I intend to, but still, pretty neat. o.o

Isometrics? These aren't Isometric perspective. But um, yeah thanks ^_^.

Eh... You know, I suppose they're not isometrics, but the forward moving sprites might as well be. I was questioning whether I should use the term, the angle certainly isn't isometric, but the movement seems similar. I can rephrase:
I've not yet ventured into the realm of isometrics animation, nor do I intend to, but still pretty neat.

Its actually gonna be an RPG sprite, but I guess it could be used for an Isometric style game, or I could just make all 8 directions, I dunno.

I really dislike the isometric perspective myself, but mostly for the horrid overuse of it in GameBoy Advance games. Horrible, horrible spriting used in a lot of those.
I suppose I could see that working in an RPG, though most RPG's I've played have smaller sprites(seems almost a rule), of course, I haven't played many, so I suppose not.

Well, that depends on the RPG, I mean, its not always really chibi styled sprites.
