I wonder - we've got well over 150 people in the forums (approaching 200) and I'd like to know the story on how they've stumbled upon MMLS. They can't all be through affiliate buttons... MY STORYDec-2004 - I was searching google to purchase MegaMan Legends for the PC. I had been for sometime, but never found anything. Anyways...wouldn't you know it, one of the results for "MegaMan Legends" was this forum. Sounded promising, so I poked my head in to see what it was all about and...well...the rest is history. I do believe my first thread is still around (though locked)... General Legends Talk > Concerning The MegaMan Legends PC portAnyways, as a tragic end to my story - I never did get a copy of MML-PC. I ended up taking my PSX version and playing it on my PC with an emulator. (I know what you're all thinking - just play it on the PSX!).

Me, I think i saw a link on Planet Megaman or The.Megaman.Network and I came here. I was so impressed with the site, that I decided to join the forum.

I believe I've said somewhere where I've stumbled on the Legends fandom. The forums are a less interesting story.
You can blame Megaman Legends Universe as to why I am here. Used to be my main Legends stomping ground but I've recently switched over. Or something.

I believe there is a thread very close to this, but not exactly like it.
I found MMLS, while searching the net for a game I series I hadn't played in years (yeah, I forgot about MML and MML2 for nearly 4 years). At first I ignored Legends station forums. (I had bad forum experiences before this, and I'm very shy in places I'm not used to, but as you noticed, once I'm used to the place I am not shy at all). I liked the site, and I don't remember why I joined... oh yeah,.. no that isn't why... well, I don't remember, but I found Legends station and the forums out of accident, before I was even a fan of the series, since I didn't like MML1 6 or 7 years ago, and MML2 I thought was alright, when I rented all those years ago. Come to think of it, I don't know why I went looking for it in the first place.
btw, now I like all the games in the MML series

I was searching for some official artworks for me to make avatars with. I saw the link and check it out. So, I scroll through the site, click on forum, and join of course. However, it has been a while since my last post here .

Yeah, I thought there might be too, JMC, but I think this is different enough to be okay. Plus, the old thread must have died somewhere back there anyway. A few years back, I was a really big fan of Legends. I followed the DASH! website for about a year before it tanked. Around the same time (but not because of the incident), I started to lose interest in Legends. I took a break for about a year, but playing the games again reminded me of how much I loved them, and I became an even BIGGER fan. One day, re-Legenergized, I Googled the games. MMLS popped up. I had been following the site for about a week when the forums officially opened, so I took the Nestea Plunge™ and joined. And here I am! Before the forums were very active, I used to check them all the time waiting for new posts. In fact, my being online all the time was one of the reasons fab asked me about being a mod. But don't go getting any ideas. By the way... MY LEGENDS LOVE WILL NEVER FAIL AGAIN! I LOVE YOU, LEGENDS!

I was looking through the site and found MMLS forums. I didn't join immediately, though. I just looked through the piles of topics in the boards.
Do you find my story believable? I was thinking about joining but just went and looked at all the old topics and new on the boards.

Eh, mine’s a simple story. Basically, I was searching for the Bonne’s theme (I’ve always loved that song…). Anyways, I went for a while with no luck and a few low quality midis, but I soon happened across the old version of MMLS. The midis were nice and I decided to wander around the site. Aside from my fondness of the Legends series, that glowing reaverbot eye compelled me to do so… How I miss it… (I still find it strange that version 2.0 is still above 3.0 on google search. See? The glowing reaverbot eye had hypnotic powers!) Anyways, I finally came across a link to the modern version of MMLS (3.0). I was impressed by it and I eventually waltzed on over to the forums. There I stayed as a guest for the months of August and September 2004, slowly building up the courage to join the site (I’m shy by nature so I was sort of worried about how I’d be accepted). Anyways, around October 15 th I finally joined, made my first crazed theory, and posted my intro in the wrong section. Boy, did I ever show promise! Anyways, I’ve survived thus far (You can blame BM 1-3 for that ), and I like things around here. They can be strict, but if you follow the rules you’ll never really notice (Rules and structure are a good thing people… Follow them! The glowing reaverbot eye compels you!)

Actually, I still go back to that place once in a while just to stare that the eye for a couple of hours, Maybe 4... Nothing special. I was looking for some official art, and eventually came across version 2 of this site. I became a regular visitor. In fact, this site is how I learned about the other 2 legends games (I only knew about the first at the time).

Well, mine is kind of like FG's, but as I am a storyteller, I'll elaborate: So I joined the MLU forums and I met fab. We talked and argued about stuff. Then I stumbled upon the Alternate Trigger thread that I had missed and I LOVED it! I putzed around the MMLS main site for a while (the fan art was my fav) and then kind of forgot about it.... until v. 2 of Alternate Trigger came. Then I forgot about it some more . I was still at MLU and people kept talking about the MMLS forums over there which was going through some sort of boom. I didn't really like a lot of the nOOb's over there, so I decided to come here. The Caption Contest ROCKED MYSOCKS OFF!!!! This had only been attempted at MLU and failed with great success (oxymoron). Anyways, I still went back to MLU for the "Other Video Games Section" (a section I stupidly thought that MMLS lacked [although people at MLU did like talking about other video games more *gets shot*]) but when I found that it was infested by nOObs and that MMLS was way more mature, I came here. I didn't post very much until I became mod, so there you have it!

I think I said something somewhere else, but I forgot. My grandmother had a playstation at her house and the only game was Megaman Legends. When I was allowed to have video games, I got a good deal on a PS1 and got the system. Even though GC, Xbox, and PS2 were just coming out, I stuck with the old Sega Genesis, N64, and PS1. I borrowed the game from my grandmother and eventually took it off her hands (nice, huh... ). I got into the game so much, I started a VGfad. I looked up Megaman Legends on google (or was it yahoo?) and found a couple pictures from v2.0 of MMLS. I never checked out the forums until I found out there was an upgraded version of the site that I never knew about (I almost fainted... though I wondered why the site had not been updated for awhile). Then I immidiately joined the forums... well... that's it...

I mostly forgot about how I got here. I somehow ended up on the main gate, read some comics and went here then joined...

I think I knew about the site before, but I never knew they had forums. I just liked to look at all the official art because I wanted to draw Tron Bonne or something. Then one day I was just clicking links and poof! I found the forums. I think I joined because it was really small and friendly(Usually forums with lots of members are not the nicest people around ). And I don't plan on losing my intrest in Legends, so I'll be around for a while.
