About Terraformer v2
Terraformer v2 is an on-going experiment and project for the Megaman Legends Station, with an aim to provide new, interesting, and/or useful features for the community to interact with. Terraformer v2 is a Proboards V5 successor to Terraformer v1, a script for Proboards v4.x with similar goals.
Terraformer is written and maintained by Eric Chiz, with suggestions and bug reports coming from the general MMLS community.
The script is not minified or obfuscated, but may be complicated as part of its nature; examination and feedback are welcomed.
Please note - settings are currently stored as cookies. Changing computers or using private-browsing/incognito mode will reset these settings to default.
Global Enable/Disable
This page lets you quickly enable or disable all components, as well as reset to the default important-on, optional-off.
Please note - if you activate these, your existing on-off choices will be lost.

Future Features Default
Terraformer will expand over time and gain new features. Where possible, you will be able to opt-in and opt-out of each individually. However, when a new, non-essential feature is available, you may not wish to use it immediately.
Case For:
+ Enjoy new toys as soon as possible
+ Help test the software
+ Undesired features can simply be disabled
Case Against:
- There will be a lot of bugs and inconveniences
- No promise of experimental features being permanent
- Certain features deemed important may default 'on' anyway, so you cannot miss them.

Forum Badges
"Forum Badges" is a function that shows awards from participation in various community events over the years, or meeting some other criteria, such as senority.
Case For:
+ Identify established, veteran members quickly
+ Looks cool
+ Fun to collect*
Case Against:
- Badge data may increase page load time on slow connections
- Possible jealousy
- The blinking on MLT's profile could land a 747
* - note: badges will still be earnt and awarded with this style off, but they will not appear.

Advanced Mini-Profiles
"Advanced Mini-Profiles" is a function that allows some user-customizability to the side bar that appears to the left of their posts.
Case For:
+ Allows increased individuality beyond simple avatars and signatures
+ CSS-like styling rules may be mildly educational
Case Against:
- May slow page loading by up to one full second when heavily used
- Some members have miserable taste in or eye for visual art
