Those damn things that come out of the floor.

Aw, but those are cool. I don't get why people complain about these so much. They don't eat much of your health, and if you're fast enough you can get out before they do any damage at all. (Real diggers don't complain :P)

They're escapable and all, but I personally don't like them for the sheer factor of them interrupting the flow of gameplay. Stuff like Mimic chests I'm okay with, but the whole deal of trying to randomly eat me alive while I'm walking through a corridor is annoying. And then they even went as far as to place one next to the elevator outside of the Master's house. They aren't hard to deal with, but the whole concept seems a bit obnoxious IMO. :15:
They also nearly scared me away from the series for good when I was little. xD

What I'm wondering is why you're appealing to this board. You know this isn't the DevRoom, right? Nobody here is making the game.
(Well, in the sense fans get to participate in making the game, we sorta are, but I doubt there will be many fans insisting on the return of Shoebafun at any rate.)

EDIT: Raijin I think he's just posting an idea for the game, not necessarily making a demand of anybody here. We're allowed to have topics about Legends 3 stuff over here, too, although most of those topics have moved over to Unity by now. “Interrupting the flow of gameplay,” shminterrupting the flow of gameplay... Just because it's not as obvious and predictable as Mimic chests doesn't mean it's bad. It's a trap. What do you want? A big flashing sign that says “Watch your step?” >__< I just don't get what the big deal about it is. IMO they enhance the atmosphere.

I didn't mind them so much once I trained myself to reflexively dodge-tumble when they appeared. That makes them effectively harmless, but they still make your heart skip a beat when it happens, which is good! It's more exciting that way.

I insist on the return of the Shoebafun. If only for the sake of being obnoxious.I quite liked them myself. Hugging the walls was a bit irritating, but I like variety in my Reaverbots.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say they enhance the atmosphere. The only result of them appearing involved me hugging the walls for the rest of the ruin. At least the ones that appear in groups with other enemies seem to have an actual purpose as they're more of a real threat (even if indirectly). Traps aren't a bad idea at all, especially considering the fact that they're ruins, but something about the execution rubs me the wrong way. It'd be neat if you could at least disarm them or something, as the point is kinda dead once you've activated it.

Yeah. If they were an actual danger there'd be some point to them. As they are now they're practically there just to piss you off. No added challenge, just annoyance.

You mean those annoying sauna traps? Oh God, please don't bring them back... Sometimes dealing with something difficult can be fun, like 10 reaverbots at once, but something are just too... annoying.
Now, if we can get more spider reaverbots, on the other hand...

I personally felt that those things were a bother simply because you had to wait a whole 5 or so seconds before they let go of you, I wouldn't mind if those things were quick about it though, it'd be faster if they simply jumped out of the ground and caused blunt damage with knock-back instead.

It makes the exploration more challenging due to the fact that you'll need Constant Vigilance™while navigating even "seemingly" empty corridors.
But I agree that they made it obnoxious in that they are never disabled. I would suggest that they can be deactivated when, perhaps Megaman/someone else picks up the refractor/key/treasure,etc. (like what the traps at Manda Island Ruins do when the Keycard has been used and when the key has been obtained).
And besides, this is just a fraction of the way Megaman Legends should be like according to my dream (the one with the thief, the temple and megaman spontaneously igniting and dying). Ergo, a bit dark, but still light-hearted in a general sense.

I always thought those things were rather cool, in a real creepy, "Little Shop of Horrors" kind of way.
Just make it so we can get some nice payback. Some way to fight back, I hated how they could always get away with chewing on me without me being able to pull the trigger of my shining laser directly into their mouths.

YES, I wholeheartedly agree with this. The Shoebafun wasn't so much of a Reaverbot as it was a trap. You knew where to find them once you got snagged by them, they were easy to avoid with a jump or a roll, and even if they snagged you, you get get free easily by jiggling the D-Pad/Analog Stick and buttons a bit. I'd love to see it make a return; heck, I'd even love to see it be made vulnerable; maybe delay the retreat a bit, make it not-Busterproof. It'd be good to see it back.

Oh? why not? I loved/hated those... they gave me a terrible heart attack at the first time that I never got able to proceed further after that in that day...
I think the suprise element is a nice thing and it should never be taken out... like the invisible Sharukurusus in Lake Jynn.. or in the same ruin those.. (forgot the name) fish-like reaverbots in the corridor which looks an aquarium.... never expected them to come up there and attack me.. and they pack in numbers.
