By Legends, I mean either the first or second one. Please, stick to just posting one song and please make sure that song you pick isn't on the list already. Sooner or later, I will start accepting second-time requests from everyone, meaning that if you've put a song on the list, you'll be able to put another one up. However, if I get numerous requests for one particular song that's already on the list, I will try my best to make to seperate remixes of the same song. See, I figure I might as well contribute to the site somehow. So, if I get enough answers, I'll start work on MP3 remakes of each song and post links to them through my ACIDPlanet account. Granted, if you'd want to download the song, you'd have to get a special link from me through PMs or something. Either way, lemme know what ya love ^^ And down here:I have a link to some songs I've done. So far, there are two originals and a remix of a Zelda song. Not exactly Megaman...but it'll give you an idea on what some of the remixs might sound like. Please, post your comments in here...but be sure to be clear about what you're talking about. >.> My Remix Preview! The List:Megaman Legends:Apple Market Theme (Darth Pitchius)Megaman Legends 2:Geetz Battle Theme (finalhazard)Misadventures of Tron Bonne:Glyde's Theme (Tiesel Bonne)Completed songs:Megaman Legends:We are the Bonne Brothers (GustaffGlyde)Megaman Legends 2:Train Battle (Dash Myoku)Misadventures of Tron Bonne:***Once a song is on the "Completed list," check the link (provided above) to have access to a free (but crappy quality) listen. ^^

Do you mean remixes? We already have most of the MP3s on the site, except for MML1. It’s missing quite a few tracks, but also includes several not on the OST. It would be interesting to hear some remixes if they were well done I’m not really good at picking favorites, so I’ll just list my top 20 out of 40 tracks. 1. We are the Bonne Brothers! 2. Reflection Room 3. The Bonne Family Burning with Vengeful Feelings 4. Juno – Last Battle Physique 5. The Main Gate 6. At a Place Nobody Knows 7. Original Hito (Human) Unit Residence 8. The Flutter vs. the Gesellschaft 9. Gesellschaft 10. The Subgate of Clozer Woods 11. Culmnavash!* 12. Guynie Toren!* 13. Focke-Wulf! 14. Trapped Barukon Gelede 15. Teisel Bonne of the Gesellschaft 16. Lakeside Town 17. Another Sun 18. See You Again 19. Heading Towards Kattleox Island 20. Theodore Bruno!*Culmnavash is probably supposed to be "Karumuna Bash".
*Guynie Toren is probably supposed to be "Gai-nee Tooren"MML2 A lot… actually, I just don’t want to make another long list. The two train battle themes, the Gustaff battle, the various Glyde themes, the Geetz battle, the Elysium themes, and the game credits. Heh, well, there you go. I’ve got a semi-large collection of game and anime OSTs (almost 4,000 tracks) so I generally don’t think about what’s my favorite, just what songs I like, which is a list well over the 10k character limit. Heh, sorry, but it’s about time I shut up, no?

Hm... Interesting idea. Mine would have to be the Fokkerwolf battle from MML1, and the Nino Island theme which plays in Glyde's cutscenes in MML2, not to mention Geetz and Sera's boss themes from MML2.

(they're not really songs... they don't have words ya know)
The music in Legends never really stuck with me all that much. I mean the tunes are catchy, but if I haven't played the game in like two days I'm not able to remember what tunes were where and when. I do remember two that stick out in my mind as being perfect.
Those two being - both in MML1 - the theme(s) in the Market/Downtown/Uptown area(I count that as one for some reason), and Juno's theme. The city area tunes I like strictly because, they're kinda just happy little tunes that help enhance the cartoon/anime-y environment. And then Juno's theme just because I thought it fit her so well. Like fighting Juno without hearing her theme would make her seem less goddessly.

Are you a remixer?? Is this topic about...REMIXING? Or am I misreading "MP3 remakes?"
Well anywho, I've never really gone through and sorted out a list of favorites, but I've always thought Glyde's theme (MoTB) would be pretty good remixed. I've had a couple ideas about it in my head, but I totally lack the muscial knowhow to put it together. So that would be cool to hear, I think.
I'm also quite fond of the songs that play in Glyde's fortress in MML2. Those are danged catchy.
The Nino Island ruin theme is also a really good one.
And they're mostly overlooked, but I really like the songs that play in the music store in MML1. I don't believe they're heard anywhere else in the game, though I had an untested theory once that they were themselves "remixes" of other songs in the game. I don't even remember why I originally thought of that, but I'll have to test it out some day.

I kind of liked the "Bank song" from the first game. And the puzzle stage music from Tron Bonne.

Also you probably shoulda done one post instead of... six...?

Sure you couldn't do all twenty? Heh, in that case, perhaps you could merge the first three into one track. Those three all rely on the same basic theme, so it might be possible (Heh, you could even add a few voice clips from the game at certain parts, though I'm not sure how that would turn out). If you need them, seeing as the site lacks them, I can upload them and PM them to you if need be. Anyways, I'd doubt fab would mind you posting them, but I don't know about hosting them. If you needed, you could submit it to this site (it might get MML a little more notice if the remix/remake is good). Still, I'd assume you could work something out. Er, and I'm guessing a "remaker" is similar to a remixer in that they both take a song and make it into something different, but still recognizable. Eh, I'm not sure, but my apologies if I was incorrect in my thinking. P.S. The definition of song: 1. the act or art of singing 2. poetical composition 3. a : a short musical composition of words and music b : a collection of such compositions 4. a : a melody for a lyric poem or ballad b : a poem easily set to music 5. a distinctive or characteristic sound or series of sounds (as of a bird or insect) 6. a : a habitual or characteristic manner b : a violent, abusive, or noisy reaction 7. a small amount
As for Juno, it's not uncommon to have feminine men in Japanese games or anime. If anything, its very common (Bishōnen. They do exist). Juno is one such example, though he's probably too old, but who cares? Not I! Anyways, Long hair ≠ female. I should know. Neither does your voice.
Now, repeat after me: the edit button is your friend! The edit button is your friend! The edit button...

GustaffGlyde: Bah, I could try it...would take me a very very long time to get finished. I use the demo version of FL Studio 4.5.2. Yeah...I can't save my work and go back later and change it. I have to complete what I start and make it into an MP3. And about the song thing, yes...a song generally does have lyrics to them. But what exactly would you call intrumentals then? They are also songs...songs without words. Look at "Some Skunk Funk" by the Brecker Brothers...that's a song without words, but it's still considered a song.

Songs with out words have other names too... Like for instance you could call them what they are - instrumentals(just like you could call a symphony a symphony). Thats what I usually call them. Or "tunes" always works... There's melody and rythm. Plenty of things to call them.
I've been to GAIA but does it not have an edit button?
Also if you're going to do multiple quotes, you can use the[quote]*QUOTE HERE*[/quote] tags.

I suppose having only a demo would be trouble. Perhaps you should do some easier projects, and if it catches on you could buy it and make longer remixes. Anyways, if you want to give it a try, I’ll send you the three tracks. Eh, as for the 'song' thingy, you’re both right… well, more so Pitch, but still. A song is words, usually with music, but these days people tend to use words incorrectly. I mean, people use the word 'kid' instead of child, and kid means 'young goat'. People insist that 'man' refers to a male, but man is actually gender neutral*. It’s just life these days. I say we just forget about all of this ‘song’ stuff. As for the multi-posting, boards are different. Some only care if you post the same message twice, while others get mad if even different messages are posted in succession. Still, it’s not good to double post, let alone doing it six times in a row. Just read the rules, and if still don’t know how to post correctly, then see the bottom of the post for an in-depth tutorial. *Yup, it’s true. These days it’s generally accepted as meaning male, but the correct, but now archaic, term for male is ‘wer’ (or ‘were’). That’s what the were in ‘werewolf’ means. On that note, woman was wyf, and then wyfman, which evolved into our modern term, woman.
If you still don’t know how to post, then I present you with… When and when not to post, the Movie! (And a note. I came across that via this site’s rules, and now that I've found it hosted on sites not filled with you know what, I'll replace the link with a better one. And this is steam in case you were wondering).
And Juno… isn’t a guy… I actually think that that’s a plausible theory now.

MML1: I'm not sure whether or not Juno's theme should be counted, but hey, what the heck. Juno's theme, the Gainee Tooren, Bruno, and Focke-Wulf battle themes, the ending theme, the Main Gate.
MML2: The Nino Dock and Glyde's car battle themes, most of the boss themes now that I think about it (I'm a sucker for a good boss theme), the Elysium security sector, the Manda Island ruins.
MOTB: It's actually been forever since I've played this game, so I don't remember much of the music, but I remember it having a pretty catchy main theme. (edit: Did the injured Tron theme played near the end of the game make anyone else sad? I mean, I knew she wasn't gonna die but still...)
This has been bugging me though, at what point in MML is "Feeling of Love" played? I don't remember hearing that song anywhere.
