This is one of the things that has stumped me until recently about MML. It says that Barrel found Megaman as a baby and I thought, "So if Megaman was the Purifier Model, that would make him a robot. (Very life like I might add, eating and drinking and so forth.)" I was curious as to how Megaman "grew".
I think I may have figured it out. First off, in the opening of MML2 it shows Megaman without the blue armor. He has a normal body. Then you find out that Yuna is inside of Roll's mother. Juno said, "I didn't recognize you in your current configuration." I think that before Megaman went through the process of erasing his memory he did the same thing, he went inside of a carbon, and that carbon was the baby that Barrel found, the one that Megaman grew up with Roll as.
I can't really say whether or not this idea has any accuracy to it at all. I never got to play much of MML2. Our Walmart stopped carrying it and our rental store stopped as well. I had no hope of ever getting to finish the story, so I did research on it so I could at least found out what happened. I don't know exactly what all went down in Megaman's memories of Master and so forth.
Anyone have any ideas?

Basically, I believe that MegaMan is an andriod. A synthetic human, basically.

That's the same thing I was thinking. There's no doubt MegaMan's an android just like Yuna and Sera are.

Actually he's a shell. Just like what Yuna and Sera are in. He used to be a robot or android but his original body was damaged too severely and his memory was somehow transfered back into his brain in Legends 2. They don't really explain how though. He was uncountious at the time and he was having those memories of the Master. So he's a human phically but a robot mentally I guess.

Dude, he's not a shell. He's an actual living being with progams. That's why he's unstoppable. It's kind of a Matrix-type deal where he's a living being with some boosted reflexes.
I haven't watched the Matrix, but I know some stuff about it thanks to Shadowrun. It's like MegaMan has a head computer like Jake has. Only MegaMan's computer is his whole body. He's an andriod.

I know he's a living being.

But I think MegaMan has a different creator than the creator of Yuna and Sera. I mean, he has more power than any of his superiors. Who could really have that much power if not from a different creator?
Also, he probably wouldn't have needed Data if he could've just transfered his progams to another body.

It would be nice, if there is a Legends 3, for them to show exactly what he looked like in the past and what happened. Like the battle againt Sera and all that.

It would be even better if you could take control of megamans old body for certain parts of the game

Geez, I remember readin something about that... Something was in some "Perfect Memories" book... My memory's a little hazy, but isn't Trigger a later version of X? If not that, it's probably the fact that he has the Master's Genetic Sample.

Yeah, apparently Megaman is the somehow the product of the Master's genetic code or a biosynthetic outcome of processing such or like qualities in a computer. That statement about him being a baby was most likely just a hole in the plot, since, even if he is what SIMSteven calls an android, logic suggest that no know entity (Man, beast, computer, machine, planet, sun) becomes a child after it is destroyed. Thereby one could imagine that Megaman's form was destroyed forcing him to load his memory cells into data and... start over? Reset program? Have a new form made? What ruin was he found in, does anybody remember?
P.S. My skepticism regarding his genetic production from the master sprouts from the general observation that the master has blond hair and he doesn't. Maybe the master wanted it that way, but more likely it was for Japanese appeal.

Any ideas on why he would have reset his systems there?

Because it's in the middle of nowhere and the island would be hard to spot. And Yuna probably put him there.....

Hmm... I thin kthat Trigger is like Yuna, made from Nanomachines... I remember somewhere in the script Yuna said she had to give somebody some nanomachines from her body... So that makes me think that everybody on Elysium other than the Master, was made from nanotechnology... it could also explain how Servitors can turn into those big foreboding dragons. o.o
EDIT: I found the script chunk, it's when you talk to Yuna on Elysium, ask her why she's in Matilda's body. (Why are you using that body?): Once, I found a Carbon on Forbidden Island. She was dying...I transferred some of the nanotechnology from my body to hers to try and heal her. She recovered, but I found that I had used too much energy and parts from my own body--I wasn't able to move anymore! In the end, I ended "borrowing" her body to use as my own. Don't worry--once this is all over, I'll give her body back to her.
BUT... one thing kinda outdoes this. Asking her about Elysium: (What is Elysium?): Elysium is a perfect world, created by the Ancients thousands of years ago. A world of eternal youth...A world without disease, hunger, or war. Sera and I are androids with positronic brains built to watch over and manage that world. We are called "Mother Units." You are a Purifier Unit, built to seek out and eliminate Aberrant Units--units that malfunctioned and threatened the System. Don't you remember?
So they could be androids with nanotechnology implemented into them... or just something.. else. o-o;
