Well, a while ago (long while, really. About a year or so) I came across this website. It seems relatively old, but it's strange what this guy came up with. Number one, note the picture of all the background characters (discluding Trigger) and how it labels them all "Main Characters".. ? And as for the very bottom, he posted an image of a one, "Mystery guy". He claims to have found it in one of the games folders or summat, but it doesn't look like any Legends art that I've ever seen. Anyway, I just thought that I'd bring this up with you all, since it doesn't seem as if it's ever been talked about before. But if, by the off-chance, it has been pointed out, then please tell me so. Here are the links, main site: eod.notart.org/neo2.html"Mystery Guy": eod.notart.org/images/mysteryguy.jpg

Huh? Niether the 'mystery guy' nor the 'Main Character' art looks like artwork by the DASH team, looks more like fanart. It also states there are some FMVs, but we all know that isn't true. I don't know, this source doesn't seem very reliable. Nice find anyway...

Actually, I just spoke with Pitch. He helped me out a bit. Turns out they're both official Capcom artwork (hence, the signature in both pictures) Here's the proof: www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/consumer/dash/gallery/galmain5.htmlSo nevermind, this thread's pretty much null and void, like Dashe's goober-filled socks. I jest. Well, at least you all have that link now. There ya' go.

Wow, that's some really nice artwork that's on that page! I'm amazed. I'd never seen a lot of it before. I guess it may just be random sketches of the production team. A lot of the time the guys will come up with stuff which seems entirely random. Tron as a catgirl? Now that would have been odd. I love the GuildMaster in that one pic.

I think it's strange that they originally intended those people to be main characters for MML2, then suddenly changed their ideas. I mean, a guy who would have made a pretty good main character, was shifted to play the role of a man that sells you a piece to make the Crusher, and only if you're dark... Weird transition... Also strange how they even considered that Junk Shop owner to be a main character... his design lacks detail and originality, on so many levels...

How odd about the main characters. But, I did think that the junk shop owner had a bigger role before the final version. I forgot what made me think that...
One big question I have is: why does Trigger has Vacuum Arm equipped in that picture? ^^; Everyone is drawn to him? ^^;
I thought those pages on the Dash site were only fan art. Hea. You learn something new everyday... ^^;

The vacuum arm thing puzzled me, as well. And the fact that it has vacuum written on it is hilarious. It's like putting a huge label-sticker on his left arm reading "Mega Buster".
rage: I'm not sure why they made her rack bigger than her body... Maybe proportion is obsolete in the world of Legends...

I doesn't matter about mayor's chest maybe Keiji likes them that big. but that Mystery Guy kind of remind me of Skull man for some reason.

When I march off into battle, I am going to have "Big Killing Gun" written along the side of my weapon, because that's what it is and does.
Anyway, huh! I call concept art that never made it, something that the team figured looked cool but never made the final cut and was ultimately thrown out.

The whole "huge-breasted mayor" thing was actually pretty d**n predictable, considering that most animes tend to have girls wearing small or short articles of clothing, that barely cover anything at all, where as the males are wearing thirty-seven layers of titanium alloy armor. And yet, they both march out into the same battle. I don't know, it's just strange how they tend to do that. There was one game similar to Armored Core in gameplay that had the males run around in cyber suits, where as the females wore boots, a skirt, and a bra. Fair match?

If that was a fair match, I'd say all those armored guys would have to be pretty darn pathetic. I mean, they're so scared of being beaten by a girl that they need to get all armored up because of some crap-inferiority complex or something, and probably half the time the girl would beat them anyway. It's all a matter of how you look at it.

www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/rfonline/screenindex.html Heavily armored vs. scantily clad? RF Online seems like a good bet to me. (It does look great, though. XD ) I kinda thought Mayor Amelia's hips stood out a bit more than her chest. I guess these sorts of things are common anime sterotypes, but hey, I don't complain about such things. I thought her outfit was a shirt with a skirt, but looking again that skirt seems to envelop the waist... maybe it's a full length dress with a jacket buttoned over it?

Her in-game outfit, I believe, is a tight fitting one pice dress that looks like a two-piece top and skirt. I agree, her hips do stand out a lot more, only because she's constantly on her knees. Even in the official art, she's on her knees. I've reason to believe that her legs are immobile, and she can't stand up...
