Hello - this is John. I have been working on a story for the remake of Rockman DASH 5 Island Adventure. The storyline is based on the Japanese cell phone game but unlike the original my storyline would make a better linking to the plot of Mega Man Legends 2/Rockman DASH 2. If the team who is working on Tuttle's Legendary Travels is interested in making the fan game one day they are free to use my storyline. I'll be posting one or two chapters; if anyone has suggestions, ideas to make my storyline better, or questions about it please let me know. I would love to hear your comments.
Any suggestion on the English and Japanese title? Here are example titles I have made:
English: Mega Man Legends: The Ryship Island Chronicles Japanese: Rockman DASH 2 Episode 1: Elevator Tower to Heaven
Introduction …In a world covered by endless water…
People are forced to eke to out a living on small patches of land that remain above the sea. The people of this world rely on ancient technology driven by quantum refractors, a powerful energy source. These refractors lie in ancient ruins underground and in the sea and are sought out by brave explorers known as diggers.
These brave explorers dive deep into ancient ruins in search of grand treasure. From island to island they travel, risking their lives against Reaverbots, the guardians of the underground. These menacing creations come in all shapes and sizes from the unimposing to the terrifying. Because of the immense value of the refractors, diggers must take care to stay clear of underground dangers. In the skies, the diggers must avoid air pirates who are after plunder for their own gain.
Whispered among the diggers is the story of a fabulous treasure, the legendary Mother Lode. It is said to be so great that if it were discovered, it would provide so much power that the world would never fear running out of energy. For years, diggers have traveled from one island to another in search of this Mother Lode, but always in vain.
Skeptical veterans claim that if the Mother Lode does in fact exist, then it must lie on one of only a handful of islands that still remain largely unexplored.
It’s has been one year since Megaman and his friends had their adventures on Kattelox Island. There are many unanswered questions for our young digger Megaman Volnutt…
Who is his past self Megaman Trigger?
Who are the Purifiers?
Why did he lose his memories?
What was his mission?
Thus the story of Megaman’s past begins…
Prologue Chapter: (Pre-title opening scene) The story starts inside a prison complex. You overhear a meeting between Lex Loath talking with a mysterious prisoner with some birdbots about how they are planning for a prison escape, and Lex promises to help his new found friend to his goal… (End of Pre-title opening scene) Note: Sometime between or after the events from TMoTB and around TLT, Glyde somehow managed to escape but Lex didn’t.
(Start of Game) MegaMan and Roll are on their way to Ryship Island to meet up with Barrel. Roll decides to try out her experimental Charge Drive on the Flutter, which can make it go much faster by consuming a greater amount of energy. Unfortunately, the device destroys their refractor as well damaging MegaMan’s equipment from his previous adventure and they have to make an emergency landing on Sealos Island.
On Sealos, Roll gives him refresher on the basics and aids Megaman in the ruins. They’re able to find a usable refractor in the ruins, but it's stolen away by the Bonnes, who had already invaded the island and taken over its town. MegaMan fights against them to free the town and reclaim the refractor for the Flutter. Before leaving, the townspeople and the mayor of that island are so grateful to Megaman for getting rid of the pirates on their island that they reward Megaman and Roll with a red motorbike. (The motorbike functions much like the Support Car in the first game)
Chapter 1: Upon arriving at Ryship Island and being greeted by Barrel and the Police Captain of the Island, they look around town a little- and out of nowhere the Glyde pirates attack the prison, giving Lex and the mysterious prisoner a chance for a prison break! Megaman helps the police; one of them is named George. Megaman battles air pirate Glyde himself. Despite defeating Glyde, Glyde manages to use his ultimate laser, almost knocking out Megaman.
Just as Glyde is about to finish him off the mysterious pirate tells him to stop attacking Megaman for some reason- and that his main goal is complete. Megaman is introduced to Lex Loath who mocks him for being weak, saying that Megaman could have been easily killed had Glyde attacked one more time. Just before escaping with Lex the mysterious pirate had another good look at Megaman Volnutt, saying “Megaman… I never thought I see you this soon but you’ll see me again soon enough…“ Megaman and the police watch helplessly as the villains escape on their draches.
After the battle the Police Captain explains the situation to Megaman and Roll. We learn that the mysterious person is none other than the infamous Air Pirate captain named Bass Bullet of the Bullet Pirates. A few days ago he and his pirate gang where in the Colossus Ruins and attempt to steal any research that Professor Barrel was working on. He would had been harmed in the process but fortunately the police were there to stop them and arrested their leader at the time. When Megaman and Roll ask what Barrel was researching, Barrel explains to them that he is researching the mystery of an ancient tower that once arose out of the ocean, but its main purpose so far remains unknown and it’s believed the location is somewhere close to this Island.
It is also said that it could be one of the main locations were the Mother Lode might be. Barrel shows them the Colossus Ruins where in the main chamber there are four pillars with carved holes. Barrel believes that for the tower to rise again, they need to find four Lithograph Stones that were once used to control the raising and lowering of the tower. Fascinated by Gramps’ story and knowing the pirates might be after the Mother Lode, Megaman and Roll decide to help Gramps in solving the mystery of this ancient tower and prevent the Pirates from stealing the Mother Lode. Barrel informs our heroes that to get the first Lithograph Stone, they should look at the nearest island ruins- on Paulan Island.

I didn't have any questions at the time I read it, so I didn't think to reply to the thread, but I'm also unsure how many people are working on various projects, as they all usually seem pretty closed off groups of people. They're active, just quietly.
It's okay to do something parallel in relation to another project, and I like this, but i'm just commenting on the uncharacteristic quiet you'd tend to notice from TLT.

Chapter 2: Meanwhile we see the two other air pirate airships the King Glydon and the Schütte-Lanz. We are introduced to two other Bullet Pirate members: Mayl a cheerful, little naive and always helpful pirate girl, and Gonta a hot-headed guy who is not afraid of any challenges and a scientist researcher yet to be named. In the meeting we hear that they want to collaborate to find the stones in order get the treasure (the Mother Lode). Bass says if Glyde and Lex succeed in helping them they would be rewarded handsomely, but it seems that Glyde and Lex are not happy with Bass. Glyde asks “Why did you order me to stop attacking Megaman?” Bass replis “I don’t want to kill Megaman just yet and if anyone is going to do that it will be me.”, but Lex and Glyde are still suspicious that Bass has something else he is not telling them and secretly plan to double cross Bass.
Somewhere else near Paulan Island, the Flutter breaks down once again and crashes. Flying near the Island on the Gesellschaft we see Teisel putting up the Bonne Family portrait on a wall and commenting to himself about that he is happy to be back at their home airship. (Some time after the events of MML1 they sold the huge refractor and it was more than enough to build a new Gesellschaft- and they have a lot of zenny leftover for now…) When Teisel checks on how Tron is doing he only finds a letter saying she is would be out for a few days. Teisel overreacts, believing “Blue Boy” had pushed her over the edge from the last encounter and now he wants get revenge on Megaman! With sheer luck one of the servbots informs Teisel that the Flutter had crashed on Paulan Island. Tesiel orders everyone on an all-out assault on Megaman and Roll! Little does he know Tron has something up her sleeve.
After crash landing and realizing that the Flutter cannot fly unless it’s repaired, Megaman must find some replacement parts. He checks the town shops and small ruins to find some parts. Later he is antagonized once again by Teisel and Bon, who want to get revenge for what they did since Tron has been "acting strange" after their last encounter. They manage to steal all the parts MegaMan found in an attempt to strand him on the island. However, MegaMan is able to pursue them and get the parts back.
With the Bonnes out of the way, Megaman and Roll can continue on with their mission. The Main ruins on Paulan appear to be little explored. Roll is worried about this because she has heard from the towns people that the ruins are cursed.
In the ruins, Megaman has encounters with the first member of Bass pirate gang Mayl (similar to the encounters with Bola from Megaman Legends 2). When Megaman manages to get the first Lithograph Stone deep in the ruins, Roll’s worries come true. A Master Reaverbot (Yet to be known) comes out of nowhere! Thankfully Megaman defeats the master reaverbot. Just as Roll is congratulating Megaman for a job well done, unexpectedly we hear her getting gagged. Megaman rushes to the Flutter. A servbot left behind explains to Megaman and Data “If you want the girl in red back, meet with Tron on Manda Island.”
Chapter 3: Based off of Yakuto Kurabe's Assault Arriving at Manda Island Megaman finds Tron. Tron puts the offer to Megaman, if he wants to have Roll back he has to become a member of the Bonnes. Megaman looks less than thrilled. The game then gives two options... "-Why not give it a try..." "-No way!"
If Megaman agrees, a cut scene starts with Tron and Megaman prancing happily along. Megaman begins firing his buster and there are screams all around. Then the game automatically chooses the "No Way!" option. Tron reacts in a shocked manner. She gives the servbots some instructions and they are happy to protect the keys. Roll is shown as trapped in a crate.
Megaman manages to defeat the Tron servbots. After receiving word from her defeated servbots, Tron decides to intervene. Bringing in her crab robot the Jagd Krabbe, it's time for a real battle! As Megaman passes over a stone bridge, Tron breaks through it from below, right behind him. She fires massive crab claws directly at Megaman while explosive robots impede his path, and follows it up by hurling giant boulders at him. Once Megaman makes it through all the turmoil, Tron crashes her robot down onto another bridge in front of him, blocking the way.
Without a moment of hesitation, Megaman just keeps on going, jumping over the robot with a leap that would put Mario to shame. Tron's robot crashes through the bridge and falls to the water. At last Megaman reaches the crate, but Tron is not out that easily. Eventually Megaman wins and Tron is toasted in the usual style. After a few words with Megaman, three Draches descend to take her away. Just as Tron is making her getaway, the edge of the cliff upon which the crate is resting suddenly breaks and comes crashing down. Megaman rushes to it and stares in disbelief as he finds the crate is empty. A passing servbot, the one from the Flutter, says “If you’re looking for the girl in red, the monkey came by earlier and rescued her.”
Returning to the Flutter, Megaman is relieved to see Roll is all safe and sound. After a small talk with her they head back to Ryship Island with the first Stone. Meanwhile on the Gesellschaft, Tron explains everything to Teisel and Bon about what she was attempting to do and trying to keep it as a surprise for her brother. Teisel is shocked to know that he wasted all the resources on Megaman during the Paulan Island incident and he asks Tron if he could sit down for a while.

Sorry for the long wait here are Chapters 4 and 5
Chapter 4: On the Schütte-Lanz we get to see more interaction with the Glyde pirates and the Bass pirates. It is revealed that Bass has ordered Mayl to test how strong Megaman is in battle, but Gonta is not pleased. Gonta thinks that Mayl was too soft on Megaman and asks Captain Bass if he can challenge him- and Bass accepts his request when they reach their destination.
Back at Ryship Island after putting the first stone into one of the pillars, Megaman and Roll are informed by the police captain that Barrel has gone to Ilks Island because something urgent is happening there. He is escorted by some of the Ryship police force to Ilks Island, since the air pirates might strike again- plus it’s also were the next stone is. And so Megaman and Roll go off to the island to check on Gramps while the police captain inform Officer Denise of their arrival by radio.
When they arrive they find that the town on Ilks is under heavy police security led by the over-excited Denise, who fears there may be people after Barrel's life. She mistakes MegaMan for a criminal air pirate, forcing him to avoid fighting the police (attacking the police would cause Megaman’s armor to go black). After Megaman and Roll fly the Flutter to a different part of the island to safety, they start to listen in to the police communication by radio. They find out that the island has been recently attacked by the Bullets and Glydes air pirates- which explains the heavy security and some of the police vehicle damage. This is why the police haven’t chased them. They also find out where which building Barrel is secure in. As Roll wonders why the Police Officer didn’t receive any radio contact; Megaman decides to go alone to get to Barrel to prove their innocence. Roll continues to listen to more of the police communication and she hears Denise and talking to someone who happens to be the Police Chief of Ilks Island. She hear Ilks Police Captain Brackenreid is not happy with what Denise did. He told her he had much more experience dealing with air pirates and could recognize them easily- and he doesn’t believe that the blue boy (Megaman) and the blonde girl (Roll) are air pirates. One of the Ilks police officers said they managed take a picture of the Flutter before it flew away. The Ilks Police Captain decides to go back to the police station and use database to find out who owns that airship, while Denise and her team return to Barrel. Before Roll can tell Megaman to wait, he has already left. After Megaman manage to sneak into the center of the city island though the island ruins, he reaches the area where Gramps is, but Denise is expecting he would come and confronts him in her mecha suit!
“Officer Denise- listen, I have to see Professor Barrel no matter what. If you just give me a chance to see him, I know he’d be able to clear up this misunderstanding! Could you just let this slide for now?” Megaman says to Officer Denise. Despite Megaman’s plea, Denise thinks it is all a trick, she is going to protect Professor Barrel no matter the cost. The boss with Police Officers commence (Try to avoid attacking her and dodge her attacks until the time limit reaches zero). When the timer reaches zero Barrel shouts “STOP!!! Megaman, Officer- hold your fire!” Caskett runs into the open with an escort officer behind him. "Professor, you shouldn't out here", says Officer Denise. Barrel says, "I am sorry but when I saw who you battling with I had to do something". Barrel explains everything to Officer Denise proving his innocence. The Ryship police officer (George) with Barrel recognizes Megaman as well mentioning that he helped out the police during prison break incident (Denise wasn’t there at the time). More proof Megaman's innocence arrives when Ilks police captain Brackenreid shows that the airship belongs to Professor Barrel and his grandchildren. Once everything is clear Megaman asks Police Officer Denies why she hasn't received radio contact from the Police Captain of Ryship Island. She explains radio got damaged during the air pirate attack earlier and she didn't have anyone with the know-how to fix it. With a smile, Megaman tells Officer Denise he knows someone who can fix machinery. Thanks to Roll- she fixes the police radio equipment and gets it working again. When Denise turns on the radio she blasts her boss her for not responding. They explained to the captain that radio got broken during a pirate attack. The police captain informs them that the air pirates are coming back for another attack! It’s the Bullets and Glydes air pirates again! Megaman helps out the police of Ryship and Ilks Islands, and Denise aids him in battle as well (if you haven’t destroyed her mecha in the previous boss battle) to defend the Island.
After the pirates are taken care of, Barrel then enlightens Megaman and Roll on the crisis that Ilks Island faces. He tells them that the equipment left behind by the ancients normally keeps the island in a perpetually cold and frozen state, but after the equipment malfunctions the island begins to thaw and is in risk of sinking. Megaman explores the island’s main ruins. Along the way he has encounters Gonta, battles the master reaverbot, and manages to reboot the cooling equipment, saving the island along with getting the second stone. After the second encounter with Gonta he admits that they are only after the treasure, but do not want see the Island sink. Gonta is impressed with Megaman’s fighting skills before he disappears. Back on the surface, Denise thanks Megaman for helping her fend off the air pirates and saving this Island. Also by the order from the Police Captains of Ryship and Ilks Islands, Denise apologizes to Megaman and Roll for accusing them of being pirates. Denise tells about the events from the “Misadventures of Tron Bonne” and says she doesn’t want to be lazy- and vows to be a reliable police officer. Megaman and Rollaccept her apology and they say to her they would have done the same if they were in her shoes. They thank her for putting her life on the line to protect their grandfather. With the situation over, Barrel comes with Megaman and Roll back to Ryship Island.
Chapter 5: Because of the failure on Ilks Island, Glyde and Lex have broken off their alliance with the Bullet Pirates and they are wanting to get the treasure for themselves. Back on Ryship Island, the Glyde pirates tried to go after heroes. Eventually Megaman battles Lex Loath himself, and in the end, Lex is defeated thanks to a final shot by police officer Denise. He is put into jail for good (you can come and talk to him at the jail cell in the police station for the rest of the game to enjoy comments from him). Maybe have Lex give little information to Megaman on what Bass is up to based off what he know.
Elsewhere the Bonnes get unexpected guests at their airship: it’s the Bullet Pirates! Bass makes a deal with them. If they help them get a *special artifact* he will show them the Island of his secret stash of refractors where they can “produce as many refractors as they want.”
With the second stone in the pillar Barrel indicates the island where the next stone is: Sealos Island, the island where the story started. When they arrive Megaman and Roll find out that the ruins have never been explored because the entrance to the ruins is in a cavern underwater, and only way they can reach it is with a mini-sub.
Luckily they meet a house boat owner name Light. He has heard about their exploits one year ago from his old friend & competitive rival- Wily from Kattelox Island- like how Roll fixed up one of his boats. Since Light has a mini-sub, he is happy to lend it to Megaman and Roll. However, it needs a refractor in order to get it working again. Fortunately he knows where a ruin is that has some good refractors, and gives them a map to the ruin.
After finding the refractor they need, Roll installs it in the mini-sub. Once Megaman buys a rebreather and is fully prepared, our heroes head off to the ruin gate. Just as they are getting there they are attacked by the Bonnes. Megaman battles both above and underwater. Eventually he has to battle the Bonne’s Family mecha submarine Scylla. Teisel Bonne and Bon are eager to make sure that Megaman sleeps with the fishes- literally! Of course Megaman sinks the sub instead, however as he escapes in a lifeboat mini sub Teisel mentions to Bon that Tron is already in the ruins searching for the item.
Megaman and Roll manage to find the cavern entrance hole where the ruin gate is. While deep in the ruins, Megaman encounters Tron in her Gustaff Tank. We overhear Tron talking with her servbots of having successfully gotten the artifact. Megaman believes that they got the key stone, but Tron was expecting to see him sooner or later and is more than happy battle Megaman. Once Tron is defeated Megaman is surprised that she does not have the key stone, and before he can ask Tron a question, she is already gone.
Deeper in the ruins Megaman finds a chamber with no reaverbots. Roll says “that’s strange- I don’t see any reaverbots anywhere on my radar- wait… Megaman watch out! I detect reaverbots on the floor!” Sure enough they are none other than the infamous Shubafun reaverbots. After dodging and avoiding the maze of Shubafuns, Megaman manages to get out of the chamber.
When Megaman finds the key stone in the last chamber he thinks it was too easy- ansd he is right. Just when he is about to grab the stone, a trap is activated and he almost gets caught! To his surprise, the trap is the master reaverbot Kaetoriizu. After the tough battle he gets the key stone, returns to Roll, and heads back to the surface.
As Megaman and Roll are returning to Ryship Island, they are wondering why the Bullet Pirates have been quiet lately. The player will get to know why when back on the Bullet pirate air ship we get to see Bass is very pleased with the Bonnes for getting the artifact he requested despite the run in with Megaman. He shows the Bonne family the Island where he keeps his secret large stash of refractors.

Chapter 6 Back on Ryship Island after all the excitement in Sealos Island, once they put the third key stone into the pillar, Barrel tells them where the final key stone is in Urakoi Island. But, he gives our heroes a well-deserved break for the day. During the night Megaman has a bad dream about battling silhouette figures and ultimately fighting a giant (resembling Sera second form) but when a bird-like creature (resembling Geetz reaverbot form) is coming towards him an earthquake wakes him, Data, Roll and Barrel up.
As everyone checks to see what is going on, they see at a far off distance that the Urakoi Island volcano is making the tremors. Wondering what is going on and knowing where the final key stone is, Megaman and Roll gather supplies for their digger expedition to the island. Barrel also comes along as well because he knows much about the island ruins. He once explored the island when he was a younger digger. Somewhere in the Urakoi Island ruins we see the Bonne Family overjoyed by the endless amounts of refractors. “Bass wasn’t kidding about his secret stash!” Teisal says. Tron agrees but wonders why would Bass give up his secret stash to them with this many refractors? It could keep him in his pirate business for long time, but Tesial said “Who cares! It’s ours now- we won’t have to be in debt ever again!”
Once there, thanks to the guidance from Barrel, they discover that the ruins house ancient equipment which can make refractors from the volcanic energy. But since this too has stopped working for some unknown reason, the built up magma is near the point of causing an eruption that may cloud the entire planet with ash.
In route to solving the crisis, MegaMan is once again hampered by Tron, who doesn't believe the doomsday story and wants to use the ancient equipment to make refractors for the Bonnes. After MegaMan defeats the servbots and Tron in her mecha Seeteufel, Megaman asks why she was not interested in the stones during their last encounter. Tron explains that Bass gave them an offer- that if they help them get a special artifact, her family could have the ruin so that they could make as many refractors as they wanted with the ancient equipment.
All of the sudden a giant master reaverbot comes out of nowhere to attack them. Tron ends up helping Megaman by not only battling the master reaverbot but also supporting Megaman in solving the crisis, though she said that Teisel and Bon will get the refractors created by the restarted equipment. Before she leaves, she says that next time she won’t be so friendly.
And so Megaman got the fourth and final key stone. All is let now is to solve the mystery around this ancient tower.
Chapter 7: Part 1 Back at Ryship Island Megaman and Roll put the fourth key stone into the fourth pillar and then something extraordinary happens. The Earth shakes, but it isn’t the volcano this time. As everyone is looking outside to see what’s going on, in the distance a giant object rises from the ocean, along with three smaller objects. It is the ancient tower that our team has been hoping to see!
For some reason the top part of the tower is broken, but it is so high that no air ship can reach the top. Barrel believes that the tower used to be a lot taller and has a possible theory of what it might have been. As they are resupplying for the digger expedition, unbeknownst to them, the Bullet air pirate ship is approaching the tower entrance at the bottom.
Meanwhile just as Megman and Roll are all set to check out the ancient tower, Barrel hands over the four key stones saying they might come in handy. With everything they need, Megaman, Roll, and Gramps set forth to the tower ruin. When they get to the main tower, for some reason they are unable to open the main door, so they try the smaller towers around the main one.
In the first tower Megaman inserts the “Anthro” key stone on a terminal and it works to activate the unlocking mechanism. Now that they understand how to unlock the main tower, they go to check the other two small towers. Once they get the two key stones “Prototype” and “Unit” in the terminals they use the fourth key stone “Master” to open the final door to the main tower. Now Megaman can explore the ancient tower while Roll and Barrel spots from him.
In the course of the exploration going up the tower, it becomes apparent that Megaman instinctively knows how to navigate much of the tower, to the point that Roll questions if he's been there before, but he simply chalks it up to intuition. Half way though the tower he comes across a room with four portals, and when he tries to get the elevator to go up it does not work. Could these portals be the key to activate the elevator? Each portal he goes into leads to a chamber where he has to battle the master reaverbots he previously battled with.

This is it the chapters you guys have been waiting for here are the final chapters of my story:
Chapter 7: Part 2 Nearing the top, Megaman finds there are not as many reaverbots but he is being scanned for some reason (Similar to Magna Centipede stage in Megaman X2). As he enters the next room the alarm goes off and out of nowhere a mysterious figure appears and it looks like… Megaman?! This figure fights just like our hero. Megaman throws some Fire Horokko reaverbots at the figure, who is revealed to be the Master Reaverbot Triggerii-Mimic. Once the master reaverbot is defeated, Megaman continues to the final area.
Eventually MegaMan reaches the final room, but only finds a broken elevator terminal with the ancient text "Elysium" partially obscured and yet familiar to him. Barrel asked Megaman on the intercom to “look up and tell me what you see.” Megaman looks up. "It looks like an orbital object the size of the moon. It could be man-made, but I'm not completely sure," he replies. Barrel is overjoyed- his theory is true.
He explains that the ancient tower was once a space elevator that was connected to this ancient orbital colony Elysium and was used by the ancients to get to and from Terra and Elysium. Even though they never found the Mother Lode, Barrel considers this digger expedition a success because they finally solved one of the great mysteries of ancient Terra. Barrel also says that he hopes someone could go to Elysium someday and without further ado Megaman starts to head back to ground level.
While on the elevator going down Megaman is wondering how he knows so much about this tower he explored. He could be blindfolded and still navigate it easily. Suddenly Megaman’s train of thought was interrupted by a familiar voice- it’s Bass himself! Megaman is surprised to see him here, and the air pirate jams his radio contact with Roll and Barrel. Bass tells Megaman that he has been waiting for him and explains that the artifact he was able to get from the Bonnes has capabilities to bypass security in the tower.
Megaman is confused. Bass more than happily to tell the story of how he knows him. Bass tells Megaman that he was found as a baby along with a reaverbot dog by a group of air pirates when they were raiding ruins. The pirate couple took care of him along with their own children. As young child Bass had dreams/nightmares, not knowing what they were, so Bass adopted parents recruited a researcher/ scientist on to their crew to help interoperate Bass. As Bass got older he and his family realized that knowledge of the past could be very useful. Thanks to his visions and knowledge he helped his adapted pirate family to discover the Urakoi Island ruins and become extremely rich. When his parents passed away he ended up becoming the leader of the pirate group and became one of the most successful pirates of Terra. For a while this seem to be normal for him until one day he saw a familiar face on the television- which happen to be Megaman Volnutt- one year ago! Megaman Volnutt asks Bass "I don't understand why you gave away your refractor secret to the Bonne family on Urakoi Island?" Bass explains he and his pirates learn the volcano is starting to be active again and with the Urakoi volcano eruption, the hideout will no longer be a secret. To cover up his track he needs someone greedy air pirate group to be the fall guy. He goes to Ryship Island, hearing that Glyde has managed to escape from prison. Bass meets up with Glyde, where Glyde tells about the Colossus Ruins, that have a main chamber with a control system to activate some ancient tower, and Bass and his gang check it out the ruins. Unfortunately Barrel Caskett was there at the time, and Bass might have escaped if one the crew members hadn't tripped. He helped one of his crew, but ended up being arrested. Though getting captured by the police wasn't part of his plan, meeting Lex (who happens to be Glyde's boss) he lets him in on his secret and as well as manages get to Megaman and Roll involved. In Bass’ final comments, he tells how Megaman has some memories of his past self Megaman Forte. He tells our hero he knows that Megaman was once Purifier Megaman Trigger. Bass tells that Megaman Trigger betrayed the Master System and was responsible for killing their beloved Master.
With that out of the way, Bass is determined to finish off Megaman for his crimes he thinks he committed long ago. First Megaman battled Bass’s reaverbot dog Trimble (First Boss) and Bass himself (Second Boss). Nearly defeated, Bass merges with his damaged reverbot Trimble to form a reverbot-like armor (Similar to Sera’s First Form) in hopes of defeating Megaman. Just when they are about to battle the room shakes.
The top part of the tower is falling because of its weakened support. Megaman manages to climb to the tower wall where he confronts Bass for their final showdown as the piece of the tower falls towards the sea. In the end Megaman is triumphant. Despite Bass trying to kill him Megaman tries to help Bass get off the platform but when he touches Bass something strange happens to him. It seems Bass is in great pain, “What have you done to me!?” Bass falls off the platform and thanks to Trimble glides safely to his Drache ship as it flies off. Just when the tower is about to hit the water, Roll flies the Flutter into a position to let Megaman jump on using the Jet Skates. Megaman lands safety on the Flutter just in the nick of time! With a giant wave coming at them Roll uses the improved Charge Drive to get away quickly!
Finally relieved Roll comes to see Megaman as they both watch as the piece of tower sink into the sea, while Barrel is at the wheel of the ship. With the expedition over they head back to Ryship Island.
Hours later in the Bullet pirate airship infirmary we see that Bass has been out for a while. His three other crew members are relieved to see him awake. One of them asks how he feels and Bass answers “I feel fine however… for some reason my memories of my past self are…different…”
Epilogue #1: The next morning Megaman and Roll pack up Gramps’ belongings. Before they start to head back home they say goodbye to everyone on Ryship Island, similar to the first game.
As the Flutter flies away from Ryship Island Megaman daydreams, thinking about the past events. We see his flashback of his encounter with Megaman Juno who says that he is Megaman Trigger and a second flashback the recent event with air pirate captain Bass who says that Megaman Trigger betrayed the Master System he was supposed to protect.
Roll asks what is wrong with him. Megaman explains about his encounter with Megaman Juno and how he recognizes him as Purifier Model Megaman Trigger plus he tells how Juno is responsible for the chaos on the surface of Kattelox Island. Then he tells Roll about his recent encounter with Pirate Captain Bass who says that he remembers little of his past self and he says that Megaman Trigger attacked the Master System for some unknown reason.
Megaman is worried. He thinks that in his past life he might have done something terrible long ago. He fears that if he learns about the “mission” he supposed to do according to Data, he might do something horrible to his friends and family.
Roll says to Megaman that she thinks he is a good person, because of her experience with Megaman through the years. His past-self would behave just as Megaman today and would not attack without a good reason.
Over hearing the conversation Gramps comes in see them. He says he never expected to hear the name Megaman Trigger for quite some time but it does ring a bell. Megaman asks Barrel what he knows about his past life.
Gramps was happy to tell his story- as much as he knows. It started around 15 years ago back when Roll’s parents were still around and Roll wasn’t born yet when he was exploring the Nino ruins. In there he read some hieroglyphs that had information about the Purifier Units. The Purifiers were once Elysium protectors that functioned to seek out and eliminate "Aberrant Units". And that’s where Barrel found the description about MegaMan Trigger who was the "First Class Purge Officer" and the most loyal to “the Master.” It does not seem that Megaman Trigger did anything wrong.
When Barrel accidently found the baby and monkey robot in the ruins he did not know who infant was at first. On the Flutter Barrel asks the robot monkey some questions. When the monkey uses a pencil and paper to write the answers for Barrel he is surprised to learn that the baby is none other than Purifier Megaman Trigger himself and the monkey bot is his Peripheral Memory Storage Device named Data.
That’s how Gramps named the baby boy Megaman. However, he also thought that Roll was the one who gave him the name based on the video game character. Barrel apologies to Megaman saying that his memory is not as good as it used to be. But he says to Megaman that on the day he discovered him in the ruins he had a strange feeling that this child could be the answer to help this troubled world.
Megaman thanks for Barrel for trying to answer his question. Knowing that if he does get his memories back one day from Data, at least he now knows he would not turn against his friends and family and will accept the mission that Data mentions when the time comes. Overjoyed, Megaman is surely looking forward to more adventures to come as the airship flies into sunset. (Credits roll)
Epilogue #2: One month later, elsewhere on some Island a department store has just opened recently and guess who the owners of that store are; that’s right- it’s the Bonnes! It’s seems that their store is not doing so well, however. We see Tron and Bon arguing with Teisel that he wasted so much zenny on “things that he likes instead of for the store.” Now it seems that the Bonnes are going to be poor again. So financially poor in fact that they sell off their Gesellschaft just to keep the store afloat.
A servbot comes in and informs everyone that someone is coming and then a ninja appears out of nowhere. It’s none other than Bola himself. Bola makes a funny comment about their store problems and tells the Boones about Baron Von Bluecher planning an expedition to the Forbidden Island soon. Bola gives the Bonnes a flyer saying that he is not interested in this event- unlike his partner/brother Klaymoor- but he thinks the Bonnes might be interested in it. Before Bola start to leave one of the Servbots ask him is there anything you to buy? While he was here Bola bought some few groceries just to be help to the Bonne family.
As Bola says goodbye and disappears Teisel looks at the flyer and grins. He says to Tron and Bon “I think I might have solved our financial problems!” While Teisel laughs manically Tron and Bon look at each other and sigh.
Megaman will soon learn more about his past and most importantly his mission in the next game Megaman Legends 2.
Message from the Author: I am thinking about doing a story on Bass and Mistress Yuna perspective during and after the events of Megaman Legends 2. Tell what you think of this story I would love to hear your comments.

Here is nice idea conversation as a nice bonus what would they say in the first epilogue seen: *Cutsense* As the Flutter flies away from Ryship Island we zoom in on the airship next seeing the bridge then we have close-up to Roll face and the camera moves to Megaman who daydreaming thinking about the Past events.
*flashback 1*
Juno: ...Hmmm? Have we met before? Oh, please forgive me. You are a purifier model, assigned to the direct command of Mother. As I recall, you were designated Mega Man Trigger. Please forgive me, I did not recognize you in your current configuration.
Mega Man: You...you know me?
*flashback 2*
Bass: I may have vague memory of my past self but I do remember you...Megaman Trigger. You’re the Purifier Unit who betrayed the Master System and killed our beloved Master. Why would you, the most loyal of all the Purifier Units, want to destroy the System that every Unit should protect?
Roll: Megaman…Megaman…are you okay?
Megaman: *startles* Oh what!?
Roll: Is there something wrong Megaman? You look very worried about something…
Megaman: Yeah something like that…
Roll: I’m beginning to worry about you Megaman. You have been like this for a while now every since Kattelox, I know you don’t want to talk about it but I think it would be best to get it out of your chest.
Megaman: *Looking at Roll & Sighs* your right Roll, I think it’s time for me to tell you what’s bothering me lately.
Megaman: Do you remember what happen on Kattelox when I was in the Main Gate one year ago?
Roll: Yes, I remember that day very well. Something big came down from the sky on that day if I recall.
Megaman: Well when I was in the Main Gate I meet this ancient being who is named Megaman Juno. He recognize me some who and he called me by the name Megaman Trigger how is supposed to be a First Class Purifier Model and he said we meet before.
Roll: Oh, is this Juno is the one responsible for the chaos above Kattelox?
Megaman: Yes, he was trying to “reinitialize the carbons on the island" or should I say purge everyone on the island!
Roll: *Gasp* that's terrible! Did you manage to stop him in time?
Megaman: Well I almost didn’t succeed but luckily I stop him but I couldn’t have done it without the help from the Bonnes and *Megaman looking at Data* especially you Data.
Data: hehe
Roll: Oh thank goodness I don’t know what would had happen if Juno had succeeded…
Megaman: Another thing bothering me as well recently in the ancient tower I encountered the air pirate captain of the Bullet Pirates Bass who says that he also has unknown past like I do and he said he knows me that I was the Purifier Unit who wants to destroy this Master System and also said to I am responsible of killing the Master.
Roll:So this is what bothering you?
Megaman: Yes, Data has memories of my past but I'm worried Roll is that I might had did something terrible in the past... I fear if I learn about my "mission" am supposed to do I might do horrible to you, my family, and my friends.
Data: *Sad/worried*
Roll: Don’t say things like Megaman. You’re a good person and you know it. I may not know much about your past but if Megaman Trigger personality is like you then I shouldn't be worried.
Barrel: MMM…Megaman Trigger… never thought I would here that name again but it does definitely rings a bell if I recall.
Roll: Oh hi Gramps you been listing to our conversation?
Barrel: Oh yes, I’ am sorry for interrupting you two I been hearing you both talking something very interesting so I would like to join in.
Megaman: Well I’ am glad that you came because I would like to ask you question.
Barrel: Sure ask away boy.
Megaman: Do you know anything about my past, my “Megaman Trigger” past?
Barrel: Well I’ll do my best to tell everything all I know. When I was at Nino Island 15 year ago back when Roll parents were still around and Roll wasn’t born yet at that time I went to the ancient ruin, well without the permission of the Guildemaster because I was very curious of it, to do some research on the civilization that preceded ours. One of the ancient text talks about the Master and his Purifier Unit Megaman Trigger. Unfortunately I have little information the this “Master” person but what I know is a Purifier Units are guardians who protect the Master System from malfunctioning robots or reaverbots and one that is mention the most is Megaman Trigger who is you.
Megaman: Was there anything else.
Barrel: When I went deeper into the ruins I found a large chamber and the middle was a floating diamond-shaped object floating the in the middle.
Megaman: And that’s where you found me as a baby and Data right.
Barrel: Correct you won’t believe I have to sneak you and Data out without any notice from the locals from Nino. I never knew who this baby at first unit I ask some questions to your little Monkey friend. I tried to communicate with him but with no luck but thankfully smart enough to pencil and paper and he did he told me his name is Data and the one who created him was you that’s how I named you Megaman or was it you Roll, who chose that name, after one of her favorite video game character am sorry my memory is not as good as it used to be. I do hope my story about you help you.
Megaman: It does thank you Gramps for helping me to finding the truth about me.
Barrel: Your very welcome Megaman. On the day I first found you I strange feeling that you are very important and possibly might the one who could help this troubled world.
Megaman: If I ever do get memory back and do that mission when the time comes at least know I won't turn against my friends and family. Roll, Gramps, Data am ready for more adventures, see more things, unravel more mysteries... I'm excited to think about all the adventures we still don't know are coming. Roll lets take off for another adventure!
Roll: Am ready when you are.
Barrel: Hey! Don't forget about me.
Data: hehe
Megaman: Yes, lets go!
Barrel, Roll, Data: Yeah!
