You know the "This is fine." dog from the one picture as it's sitting in a burning building? That's basically how I view this group currently as more and more information keeps coming out on ties to Russians.
Today's news story, and it seems like there are at least two of these a week on average at this point, is that the FBI conducted a legal investigation on Russian criminal activity taking place in Trump Tower years ago. Rep. Nunes, a republican stooge that was a nobody until being placed on the transition team, decided it best to run to the President with this news before alerting the press, and more importantly, members of his own committee. It's also yet another out in the open error considering how Monday was all about getting the leakers, yet today, Nunes decided to leak this news himself in what I suppose was an ill-conceived attempt to try and vindicate the President's alleged wiretapping rumors... even though that was not about this case. In fact, I dare say he just ran out in front of the sword so much today that Nunes ran himself through it to be Trump's lapdog.
Watching this stuff unfold is amazing in what is supposed to be the information age as more and more of these connections come out. I guess with information comes misinformation, but it's pretty clear that with every passing day, this administration is as corrupt as can be and that the Republicans can not be trusted to do their jobs in the slightest. Needless to say, the Democrats' own Adam Schiff was not too happy about Nunes' actions today.
