My chef gig keeps me from doing most of the things I love to do anymore, which is ironic because I became a chef because I loved all things culinary! Hopefully when Red Ash gets another big update we might have more to discuss—I need to take my brain off food preparation and proper sanitary measures, and allergies, and...and...I don't wanna talk about it anymore. Red Ash bothers me... I don't know precisely why, but I guess it's the facts that the characters look like odd knock-offs from Legends. Also, MML3 should have come out...

Yeah, they're supposed to be odd knock-offs from Legends. They're gonna be used to tell a story in a world that Inafune desperately misses and loves, kinda like how Mighty No. 9 is continuing the Megaman Saga whereas Capcom refuses to. It's easy enough to make 8 bit fangames, but making something modern yet still retro like what Inafune's attempting is something that's a bit out of the fans' hands, because there's only so much you can do without funding.
And yeah. MML3 should have come out, but the only people who can make it happen find greater profit in side-scrolling fighters, re-releases and prefer to write their stories in Ace Attorney instead of Legends. It's possible they have no clue where Inafune was going with the story and took the easy way out, taking a huge blow to their credibility in the process. Red Ash isn't gonna pick up where Legends left off, but it'll tell a story in a world that we're all familiar with, with nostalgic characters that we'll be able to recognize from better times. I'm not against the concept (lol) and actually embrace it. I just hope Inafune doesn't bite off more than he can chew in the process.

Another problem would be choking on it should the "fanbase" of self-important Backers' increasing impatience actually start getting to him.

And Sengoku-era fighting games (including collector bait), and games where you hunt monsters, and so on...

Fair enough. I will say it's been awhile since I've seen anything made by Capcom at all. Most of the time I see their name mostly in the publisher's section of where I browse, but that could very well be because I stopped investing in consoles.

Perhaps we could do a bit more in terms of forum/community activities. The Dragon Romper and Escape/Nonary Game streams Kyle put on are probably a good template for what we ought to be looking to do. Maybe a community Minecraft server or something. Boy, will I be spoiling you people this Summer. Look forward to me actually finishing 999, a Minecraft server and a Zero Escape 3 stream.

I'd be up for a community MC server.

If you find a Mesa Biome after I do, expect it to have become the mining site for Flutter materials. And if you find one before I do, expect it to look different should I ever come to visit.

For realtime stuff, we could use the LINE chat service. (Chat logs and stuff is shared between both mobile/desktop platforms) What do you guys think?

There's also Hangouts, which I believe you may only need the email direction of people to chat with them. And there's mobile and desktop version.

I've always enjoyed Discord, personally. It's fast, convenient, and it has a mobile client to boot/

Personally I like Cbox, which is simple to embed and can be accessed standalone or from various mobile apps....and if we did get a cbox, I'd be able to view two communities simultaneously... (since I could embed both in the same window)

I have to agree with Striker here. Discord works pretty nicely, and adding a bot that we can mess around with would provide fun for a while.
