PRENUP: If this thread is in the wrong location, mods please let me know and/or move it. This is my first post here.
Hi everyone,
This is my first post, but I'd like to present you with interesting things (I think) that I've found.
I know we have a number of threads that have to do with "teleporting" or location swapping, and weapons,
but I've run into trouble because nearly all of the threads and guides do not relate to my specific software / machine / etc.
I think by creating 1 giant list we can have this "more organized" or at least updated for people like me using newer emulation software and/or memory editing software.
I don't mean to say everyone else's thread or topic is less organized, I just wanted to share my own findings because none of the other threads and pages I've come across have worked for me.
As you can see, I'm not very organized either!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisites:
I'm using Cheat Engine 6.4 on a 64-bit system, 32 bit version of Cheat Engine
ePSXe 1.9.25 (Jan 2015 release) - This seems to have broken my old cheat tables with 1.9.0.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Megaman Legends 2 weapon / arm attachment addresses
The memory address is located at 00B178DC
The address is read as [4 Byte value]:
00 00 00 00
Set 1: left arm ACTIVE item (should match left arm item)
Set 2: right arm ACTIVE item (should match right arm item)
Set 3: left arm inactive item define // I guess this was the devs' way of pre-defining variables for arm attachments, or for verification / hash checks
Set 4: right arm inactive item define
I haven't tested all but a few, but the special weapons at this address act as if they're an extinguisher.
They have unlimited ammo but the restrictions are the same. i.e: buster cannon cannot be fired while moving.
Some weapons will take the attributes of the previous weapon you had active.
i.e: If you were using a one-shot weapon, and switch to say, the Shining Laser, it only does a short blast, then has to recharge.
If you want to have unlimited ammo, try switching to a weapon with no energy discharge, then going to another area and changing to your weapon of choice.
Funny note 1: If you activate your mega buster while in the Sulpher Bottom after defeating boss on forbidden island, and then fire it - you get a game over.
It does not fire, it goes straight to the game over screen! This does NOT happen with a special weapon attached.
Funny note 2: Attaching a hunter seeker to your left arm, and holding fire will create a buster shot under your feet,
and if you move forward, you will go super fast! This only works going forward.
item list - You can verify the item codes by having the select screen up. Changing the values will update the Special Weapon name box.
NOTE: Item list may be incomplete as I only took an hour or so to find these.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
00 = nothing / just arm
01 = Kick - You can dual-wield this amazing new special weapon just like you could in the original Megaman Legends!
02 = Mega Buster (? shining laser graphic) - functions as buster. cannot be used with another buster simultaneously
03 = Crusher
04 = buster cannon
05 = hyper shell
06 = homing missle
07 = ground crawler
08 = vacuum arm
09 = reflector arm
10 = hunter seeker (this is funny because you can use unlimited hunter seekers and beat a boss very quickly)
11 = drill arm
12 = null ? or nothing
13 = same as 12
0A = Shield Arm
0B = Blade Arm
0C = Shining Laser
0D = Machine Gun Arm
0E = Spread Buster
0F = Aqua Blaster - Still searching for a way to get this "weapon" to have some punch. Special weapon attributes are hard to find (for me, at least)
--- end special weapons ----
14 = Nothing (actual label)
15~33 = Buster attachments. I would assume from here on it's just buster attachments or other items until 0A ~ 0D. 0F = Inactive
33 = Accessory Pack Omega (maxes out all attributes)
34~37 = null ? or nothing
38 = Nothing (actual label)
39 = Normal Helmet
40 = Link Armor
41 = Link Armor Omega
42 = Kevlar Armor
43 = Kevlar Armor Omega
44~47 = null ? or nothing
48 = Nothing (actual label)
49 = Jet Skates
50 = First Key - Amazingly, I'm sure the game would crash if you somehow managed to fire more than 4 keys. Let alone collect that many.

55 = Class S License
56 = Class A License

61 = Giant Refractor - hm, must've hit the mother lode!
62~63 = null ? or nothing
64 = Blue Card Key
65 = Door Card Key 1
66 = Door Card Key 2
67 = Door Card Key 3
68 = Door Card Key 4
69 = Water Key 1
70 = Red Barrier Key
71 = Last Room Key 1
72 = Last Room Key 2
73 = Last Room Key 3
74~76 = null ? or nothing
77 = Servbot Letter 1
78 = Servbot Letter 2
79 = Twins' Letter 1
80~99 = null ? or nothing (last of numeric codes)
A0~FF = null ? or nothing (too many to check - I randomly went though the alphanumeric ones and found nothing

Area list
NOTE: I don't take credit if someone may have found the same address for a certain area, I believe in sharing is caring. So have fun!
Many of these areas I've entered by using an elevator, or a door that causes a new area to load, instead of a door inside a ruin or building.
Simply put: These codes work BEST when the door you enter makes the screen fade out.
Locations: door code / address modifier
Memory address: 00B043BC
Type: 2 bytes
0000 = Debug room, I found this with help from another thread (there are many online), after testing all the other codes.
0001 = Flutter map screen, only areas you've unlocked are available. I would assume there are no sub-areas of this so I'll skip to the next address.
This address is interesting also because if you start a new game with it, it will unlock all areas and say "WARNING: The flutter cannot be accessed from here".
Which is sometimes true, the flutter disappears. If you go to a location where it requires a ladder for access, it will be accessible.
0002 = Sulphur bottom pre-game intro cutscene
0102 = Horribly textured megaman in the room where Barrel and Blucher were standing at first. Just move forward a bit and you'll fall into it.
0202 = Another horribly textured megaman, this time in the Sulpher Bottom press room, the pedestal is empty and nobody is here. Window air locks are engaged
0203 = Same as above but windows are open. This should be 0302 but I don't know what they were doing.
0302 = Crashes game, I would assume there are no more addresses here.
0003 = Cutscene where roll is waking up. Megaman cooked eggs.
0103 = Above the Flutter's living room, cannot fall into room, only on top
0104 = not tested
0139 = Flutter bridge. No roll/steering wheel.
0040 = Master's house (above, you fall down on top of it)
0041 = Elysium Loading bay (? Keeps falling, move around while falling and you will fall on top of a hallway)
0042 = Some strange room - maybe a beta room for under Nino island before the ruins. Can't climb ladder, can't open door.
0142 = (DANGER!) One of the lava bed rooms in Elysium Defense zone. You immediately get captured by one of those floor leech bots.
0242 = (DANGER!) Elysium Defense hallway. Immediately surrounded by red zakubons
0342 = outside of connecting room in Elysium Defense, 4 big head reaverbots in next room
0043 = Another strange room, door texture looks like it was replaced with some kind of control panel, ladder is still inaccessible. Immediately this text pops up: "There are two keyholes"
0143 = Hallway to (0243) Elysium Guardian: giant frog
0044 = Hallway after 0243, Elysium Side area - Elevator to B5
0045 = Elysium Side area - Hallway to elevator UP to B6
0358 = Elysium Side area - 2nd hallway to Blob reaverbot
0158 = Elysium Guardian: blob
0047 = Sulphur Bottom? keeps falling, I can't seem to get into the room that's floating
0147 = Above girl's hospital room on Yosyonke. Can't seem to fall down into it.
0247 = Above Joe's hospital room. also can't fall into this room.
0347 = Front view of megaman falling, he looks quite happy. can't seem to fall into whatever floor is behind him. Might be a texture test area.
0447 = Another front view of megaman falling. These might be the same rooms just falling from the front.
0048 = Saul Kada island, where the floor lands. You are stuck in a rock near the entrance.
0147 = Saul Kada desert, outside city entrance. You can move around
0029 = Saul Kada city main courtyard
0129 = Saul Kada city empty area where the pirates attack. Main door has Bonne logo on it
0046 = I guess a texture test, keeps falling
0049 = Literally outside the Flutter's dropship bay. Cannot enter through wall
0149 = Cannot get to whatever room is floating in the middle of nowhere
0249 = Giant purple room. Completely empty, just move forward a little bit. I don't know where the floor is so I assume it's a small room and you will fall off without warning.
0349 = Another giant purple room, except this time there are some snowy mountain textures - may be forbidden island
0050 = Saul Kada caverns - Immediate danger - main room after first hallway after elevator
0150 = Saul Kada caverns - hallway, can't seem to land in it because of the fall speed (water)
0051 = Pokte Caverns - Floor B2 (before boss)
0151 = Pokte Caverns - Floor B2 Boss room
0251 = Pokte Caverns - Floor B2 Refractor room
0053 = Texture test area? Looks like Pokte Caverns entrance elevator
0153 = Bonne's train room? Empty, move foward and you'll fall right into it
0253 = Gylde's trian car, also empty. Move forward a bit and you'll fall into it.
0353~0353 = Bonne train battle cutscene, black screen but can hear audio
0054 = After credits cutscene: Rocket launch
0055 = Digger's test, apparently already finished at 3:00.53
0155 = Above digger's test first hallway, move forward a bit to fall into the hallway
0056 = Master's house, before Mother Area. Data is here
0057 = Ending Credits
0058 = Another empty room, keeps falling.
0059 = Manda Circuit - Cannot get onto map, keeps falling. Can't move
0159 = Manda Circuit - Front view of above.
0060 = not tested
0052 = Cutscene: Sera speaks to Megaman about "The System"
0152 = Cutscene: Master's room
0252 = Cutscene: Yuna speaking to Megaman in memory file
020A = Yosyonke Bar
030A = Unknown, may be same as above
040A = Yosyonke Bar with no patrons
I haven't exactly tested 100% of the addresses because 255 + 255 = 510, which is a lot of addresses for me to cover.
Addresses left out are to be assumed as "not tested" - so let's test all of them!
NOTE: This list is FAR from complete, please report back if you happen to find an interesting address! I will add it to this list.
