Alright everybody! The votes are in, and we have our grand prize winner! $310 dollars will be donated in their name and they will receive the Gofer delivery reward package! That includes the Gofer plush, designworks book, physical artbook, physical copy of Red Ash (now including the The New Order), a T-shirt, a jacket skin, the soundtrack, and their name in the credits! But before I unveil the winner I would like to thank everybody that has been a part of this. 62 participants! Without you all it would not have reached $310! Each entry was unique and the voting was thoroughly spread throughout the captions! I would also like to especially thank goddamnprotoman for making the Manhua available to everyone. Next week's image appears to star Data for caption A, and Barrell for caption B. Barrell's doing his classic upwards finger-point with his bright teaching expression, and Data looks ecstatic and cute as ever. Image layout: Data in lower left, caption A bubble in upper left, Barrell in center, caption B in upper right. (With this layout, you could alternatively give both captions to Barrell and ignore Data altogether, since he's the center of attention in the image.) And a big thanks to Aiyumi for being the only person to like my caption last week (#30) above that huge slew of competition.  |

My vote goes to: Now that round 1 is over and we can talk about our own captions for it... And a big thanks to Aiyumi for being the only person to like my caption last week (#30) above that huge slew of competition. Oh, #30 was yours!  I really liked that one. I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't get more votes  . Mine got no votes. It was (Servbot) #42! I guess it was too common among the ones wanting to keep the Refractor out of Roll's reach. I had had a lot of ideas. My first impulse was to write something like 52 (the one about buying "comics"), and that's what made me vote it. I had also considered writing something involving RED ASH, but I was too worried about the caption's length and, in the end, nothing interesting came out. I don't think either of my discarded ideas would have won anyway. Which reminds me. Loken, will you reveal who sent what caption? Also, congratulations to ghostcat for winning the grand prize! |

Yes absolutely! I will post the author of each caption and their vote totals in the morning. And as a fun fact I they are listed based on the order of when they were submitted. #1 was the very first person to submit an entry!
