His hair is basically identical to Trigger's if Trigger was a real boy. Maybe a bit shorter... but that's really all there is to it. Well, I wasn't able to get anything useful out of the text, as all I could clean up basically just said generic things. But here's a cleaned up section of image.

Aiyumi: Gofer is actually named "シャイン" which could be pronounced "Shain" like in the word "shine" or maybe that last character is a "so" and not an "n"... That's an "n." Thank you again! Beck's seiyuu is called Yuki Kaji. Oh . I like his voice. And I like how the video shows that Beck's personality is way different than Rock's (at least during cutscenes ). Speaking of Beck, I can't say I like his design, a true Anime hero must have a cool hairstyle! Or at least a cool helmet. Maybe they'll give players the option to change his hairstyle! Hahahaha, who knows...

I don't like Beck's hair, but a friend of mine really likes Beck's hair. Also, I'd like to think the "C" in Call C. Bones stands for "Cium." Call Cium Bones.

And finally, they only blurred the text on our mysterious 4th character for the freeze frame. Here it is unedited (see above for perspective-fixed) (calling on HF to use his superpowers for great justice): Let'see... [Text Hidden] Einberg* A mysterious girl known as "the witch of Calcannon". Though she has been called a witch, she is a normal 14 year old girl. Possible Alternate Spelling(s): Einburgh

they've been preparing for this announcement for at least 9 months now. Heh, wow. That's pretty interesting. I wonder what made them wait. Probably the fact that Mighty No. 9 wasn't quite ready to be released yet. They got too excited and forgot to hide dates from Chiz.

**** YEAH PILE BUNKER! Also, has anyone pointed out yet that the big bad mech Ty knocks down with his 20mm (which appears to be based on an actual 20mm rifle btw) is quite similar to another big bad wolf? That being the Karumuna Bash

satoh You're making me feel bad; I look at the monster and the only thing I can see is Eva Unit 01. I've started to pick apart the anime video...there's a lot of rapid fire artwork I might be able to get caps of.

Great job on assembling all the information and images Satoh and Chiz! Also props to HF for translating the NoTron information. Einburg is certainly an interesting name. If she is thought to be a witch but is in fact normal she must have mad science skills. Maybe she just makes machines like Tron, or perhaps something we havn't seen before in Legends. I don't think the Reaver-like looks to much like Karamuna Bash. Maybe the head a bit but really it looks like a whole new thing and looks bi-pedal. Actually it looks like this Pacific Rim monster: Thing

Big-robot looks more like wojigairon than K-Bash to me. I would, however, call them a combined entity. E: Wow, what have you done?

Probably the fact that Mighty No. 9 wasn't quite ready to be released yet. They got too excited and forgot to hide dates from Chiz. I actually think it was really smart for them to wait this long to announce another kickstarter. Mighty Number 9 doesn't come out until next month and I don't think they wanted to have 2 kickstarter games being developed at once for optics. Mighty Number 9 is basicly done now so there isn't much to complain about. July is the month of the MML3 cancellation so it makes sense to have the Red Ash kickstarter now, probably the best time. If you pay attention to the comments on articles about Red Ash there still are a good few people who are upset about Comcept doing another kickstarter. Some of them seem disappointed in MN9 for some reason and others are just people burnt out on Kickstarters in general. Oh and some are equating it with the Shenmue III kickstarter thinking that it is less of an independent game and more of a corporate interest gauge. Honestly it kind of is an interest gauge but Comcept is far away from being a huge dev despite the quality games they have already made. If they annouced this 9 months ago I think it would have a colder reception. BTW the Kickstarter is basicly at $300,000. So far an average of 100k a day. Such symbolism lol

I dunno about other platforms. If they wanted the best possible reception, it may have been best to wait until MN9 was released altogether, unless they're interested in shooting for getting kickstarter money out of people that have summer jobs. A lot of people who are hyped for the game don't even donate kickstart money, so I'm not sure why the people who did for MN9 are complaining. 3 days and $300,000 doesn't indicate to me that things are deviating from what's expected much.

People don't have to have a reason to complain. Heck I think most of them don't even care about Megaman. I also think waiting for MN9 might have been better but I think the July symbolism is the reason for doing it now. I have seen cynical people say it is because they want peoples money before MN9 comes out and is terrible or something. Possibly salty Capcom defenders, if you can imagine that. The Polygon article they eventually put out has a seemingly negative title and some of the worst comments: Polygon

Beck's Red Armor design really resembles to the Megaman's Armor C design.
