I love how clearly the characters resemble the Legends cast, dude isn't even trying to be tactful with it lol. Hopefully he can get the same crew working on it that did the original games, for the sake of preserving quality and all that. Always wondered how Legends would work if it was a standalone series as opposed to a spin-off of Megaman, this could be really interesting.

Caught sight of this earlier yesterday morning, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to see this in action (as a TV show, game, etc). Much like the Legends series, the art style is very rounded yet has hints of futuristic surrealism mixed with natural landscapes, not unlike the signature style CyberConnect (.hack, Tail Concerto, Solatorobo) is famous for. Already it feels surreal yet approachable, and the scale feels like it's going to be something of grand scale with plenty of detail. Always wondered how Legends would work if it was a standalone series as opposed to a spin-off of Megaman, this could be really interesting. Well, there is Tatsunoko's Yatterman and the Time Bokan series. Does that count?

Are you all F-ING kidding me? I could not be happier about this announcement. Plus, INAF*KING is TOTALLY thumbing his nose at CC with this game. We may never find out who Barrett truly is (outside of fanfiction, mind you), but I love the fact that the main characters basically are taking place of the Bonnes, with "Not-Tron" working on her own, in a way, taking MegaMan's place. "Not-Teisel" looks so much like it's actually just Teisel on creatine and Just for Men, it might as well be him. Or my name isn't Bonne! Also, "Black Roll" looks kind of like Yatterman-2, no?
Anyway. My heart is so happy right now!

Hah, yeah. Nice enthusiasm there aarond. But like Dashe, I'm mostly being cautiously optimistic. It's better to be that way and not feel completely and utterly crushed if it doesn't end up going anywhere. Thankfully, it's not @capcom that we're dealing with here. It's @comcept instead, so perhaps I have less to worry about on principle. Thanks for the upbeat.

I don't think I've ever grinned as hard as I just did while watching that little teaser.

I've said in the past that I'd pay $500 for Rockman DASH 3, but I guess I'll have to settle for paying $499 for a spiritual successor. Here's the Kickstarter. There's also an anime Kickstarter, which I shall probably not be backing. Either way, Dashe gets her wish for a topless Tiesel.

Much happiness. It's not the same as having MML3 but I love it already. Good guy Tiesel and black roll are great. Looks like we are fighting not-reavers with actual lead shooting firearms. Looks like Roll may have a combat... role.

Well then. It appears as if someone's pledged $7,000 and is going to get a villager named after them, according to the kickstarter. People like that are crazy, but it's also people like that whom are going to make this game happen for the common people. The next month should be quite entertaining. Hope Capcom's got some popcorn and is watching.

I'm pretty excited about this, but I'll try to remember that nothing is perfect and this might not be MML3 as we all have built it up in our minds. =]
Also, It's great to be back =]

I'm pretty stoked. It's not legends 3, but it's probably the best we will get (actually in some ways it might be better, I thought the dev team was making some odd decisions post Inafune and was worried about what legends 3 would be like). I've pledged 70 so far, may up it depending on how my finances and the kickstarter progress through the month. I would like the art book, I'd also like the plushie but that's a little out of my price range. I also find it meet that Gofer,at least in basic premise mimics a certain character that was designed by this forum a couple of years ago, a total coincidence I am sure.

I really wish I could be a villager. Why in the world is it $6,999, and why can only five people get it? I mean, they're just NPCs. They could be anybody.

I would like to pay enough to design an enemy. I would give them the design for Hank! Also the little mascot does kind of look like ole' Monitor Face! Dinner with Inafune would be cool, but an interpreter would be required, also plane tickets. I'll certainly put down some money soon.
Good times.

On that note, the delicious designs suppsedly featured in BOOKWORM BLISS has my attention right now...

The Teiselganger's name is Tyger, he is "30 something" an excellent marksman, and a member the cofounder of Beck's Delver team(T&B Company). He will be a playable character and will offer a different experience from Beck.
Tyger is a rough speaking character in spite of the fact that he is a very wise and level-headed voice of reason.
Beck is ambitious and agile. He excels at infiltrating heavily guarded areas. His left arm can be swapped for special parts and weapons, though his regular weapon, like Tyger's appears to be an ordinary revolver. Beck is 16.
Unlike Legends, Call is not a member of their team, but in fact owns a shop, 'Bones Agency' inside the Great Slope area.
Also, in this story Call is much much MUCH more obviously money obsessed.... it's part of her general theme in fact. She makes certain every penny is used to its best value.
Call is basically a combination of Tron and Roll in that regard. She is 17.
In general.... RED ASH is an action adventure game with third person shooter elements. One of the main goals behind the project is to inject more modern design elements into the classic action adventure RPG formula.
The main character, Beck, is tasked with infiltrating the interior of the Mobile Citadel KalKanon, exploring it’s village, castle, and hidden dungeons. His goal is to stop KalKanon before the Peacemakers make piecemeal of the whole thing!
How are Beck and crew going to stop KalKanon? Is it even possible? What is the “Legendary Legacy” that is rumored to be hidden there? Can Beck get his hands on it, if it truly exists? Who exactly is this so-called witch that lurks in KalKanon?
Solving these questions and more are the keys to uncovering the story of KalKanon.
That being said, we also want to include a myriad of elements to set this game apart from your typical RPG–specifically, bargaining between partners, interaction with NPCs, an almost mischievous sense of freedom, and dungeons built with elements of horror.
Of course, a key part of the game will be delving into dungeons to earn money in order to have Call develop parts and upgrade Beck’s abilities (in true action RPG fashion).
We have more plans and concepts we would like to implement, and we’ve integrated those ideas into our stretch goals. This includes making Tyger a playable character, special challenge dungeons, a village reconstruction system and more! The more stretch goals we clear, the closer we can take this game towards its original concept!
This concludes what I know about the project.

So the main characters of this kickstarter also happen to be Beck and Call. I guess old habits will follow no matter where you take your business practice. Either that, or Inufane did it with the intention of making it even more blatantly obvious that this is the Legends equivalent of Mighty No. 9.
I wonder what will be the X series equivalent. If this project goes through successfully (which I'm sure it will), Inufane might just try it.
