I don't have the game files with me right now. From the screenshot it looks like the files being selected look correct. There should be files named "ST00.BIN" in the folder and it looks like you're selecting the right files. The next thing is to try hitting F12 on the keyboard to bring up the developer console on the page. And if there are any errors, they should should up in there.

So I found these errors on Chrome after selecting two models to view so I assume they're the same errors. Is there anything I can do at this point? Attachments:

I'm gonna venture a guess, just based upon my own mussing around with these fun tools lately, that you tried to use the PC version .bins. And I can confirm that they are not recognized by the tools. You're gonna need the PSX version, doesn't matter the region, I tried all and they worked fine.

Effectively the PC and PSX versions share a lot of similarities as far as file formats go, but the way they are packed in the .bin files is very different.

I should be able to modify my tool to extract them easily. The only downside to them compared to the PSX version is that they dropped the file names and kept just the "extension" so instead of having them neatly organized in sub folders they will be all together in the same folder ST00_01 will look a little something like this:

On another note I recently took a dive into getting the PC port to run nicely, with HD settings applied and cutscenes synced. So far the only thing that is not working correctly are the cutscenes however i had some minor success last night with them being perfectly synced however i broke it after that I plan on releasing the fixed version (or at least the necessary files) to the community once it's all working, no one else should have to go through this headache lol Working Fixes: - Broken Text - Any cutscene text (i.e intro, etc.), menu text (i.e pause menu, etc.), etc. are all fixed and displaying correctly - Broken UI - Any energy, health, etc. bars that were not displaying correctly (i.e enemies, buster weapons, etc.) - Flickering Textures - White space in between textures flickering in and out when moving or rotating camera - Save File Fix - Saving no longer crashes game - HD Display - Displays in 1080p with antialisaing + scaling applied - Models Display - Some models (i.e tanks, ship, etc.) now display correctly and not see through or missing parts of models (does not apply to character models) - Cutscenes Synced - Much less of a sync issue now and audio actually plays correctly Unfinished Fixes: - Intro Splash (video) - Won't display unless it's shown in the correct ratio - Cutscenes Synced - Audio & Video sync are off or sometimes start but never play which ends up in a looping attempt at playing the audio- Pickup Sounds - Sound effects sometimes start playing but never finish (Rare)

Hey all, I have just a quick question here. When trying to mod the textures, I can get normal models to load just fine, but replace.js cannot find the source file for the cutscene models. Tron specifically has been the one I have been working on, and I get the message that the source text cannot be found. Any ideas?

This is a stupid question, but just to make sure you're using replace.js on a fresh rom? replace.js is a pretty crappy script that attempts to look for a sequence of bytes in the file, and replaces them with a different set of bytes that's the exact length. Approaches for debugging would be try and identify the specific scene the texture is being used in. Identity the specific texture being used. I could try searching in my ISO file to see if I can find the texture, and then use that as a point of comparison for where to look on your end.

I am in fact using a file that I ripped straight off of my disk. It seems to be any character within a cutscene it cannot find the source code for them, so Tron (Cutscene), Teisel, Bon, ect all fall short.

Thanks for clarifying. Next stupid question is which cutscene? For the most part, I don't think MML1 does anything special with the cut-scenes. Most of the time they are handled with the in-game engine and the assets are loaded in along with the other assets for each stage in the EBD files. If that's not where they are, then I think Tron Bonne and Tiesel might have separate high poly models in the COMMON folder. At this point my mind is kind of messed up with bits and bytes at this point. I think Xinus was able to extract the Bonne stuff, so maybe try asking him on discord?

So far it has been every cutscene. I tried using the Texture replacement mod tool, downloading the pallets and editing them manually, but the program doesn't seem to grab all the models because the scene where Tron is on the lightpole she's normal Tron, but in the boat cutscene she's all glitched out with odd colors and some spots missing. Tiesel also appears like, half transparent. Look at this nightmare fuel.

Dear god... He looks like his colour palette was taken over by Ganondorf's, then began to reject its existence which resulted in parts of him phasing out of this reality.
