I hope so, too. I keep praying and praying, and someone seems to be listening, so I'm gonna keep praying and praying.

Oh man Fatman, you're in a similar situation to mine. This is similar to when my old house back in Hammond IN got foreclosed and my mom and I had to move to Knoxville.Only my mom and dad divorced because my dad's just an idiot who spent our cash erroneously on his Masonic lodge and steak dinners. I currently go to therapy every week for anxiety, OCD and occasional depression since Knoxville sucks, and I've been trying to find work to get outta here. And I've been trying to get my PayPal finished so that I can start making money, though Bluebird is like pulling teeth.
but from one guy in a tough situation to another, I have to say never give up. The pot of gold at the end of that rainbow is out there somewhere. I wish you and your family the best.

Thank you. Your words mean a lot to me, and I'm sure we'll make it out of our misfortune soon enough. All I really wish is that my mom and my sister don't have to suffer it anymore; I care more about them than I do myself.
EDIT: I wanted to let you all know how things have turned out recently. I know I've been maintaining radio silence over here, as it were, but you deserve to know.
Around the end of June, we had a visit from the county sheriff with a notice that we would be evicted in thirty days. We owed our landlord almost eight hundred dollars in back due rent, which we were struggling to catch up with due to my mom's struggles to get her promotion at work. Ironically enough, my mom got her promotion just a few days later, and after a court date at the local magistrate's, they knocked what we owed down to $660, which my sister paid half of. The landlord, understanding our situation, cut us a deal: If we paid half of it up front, they'd work with us on the rest of it, so long as we paid our rent every week we could, mainly because of our stellar reputation as the objectively best tenants in the trailer park we live in.
By the way, that's no lie. We're pretty much saints of the trailer park; we don't get in fights with our neighbors, we very rarely need repairs on anything here, we walk our dogs on leashes, we keep our lawns and home clean, compared to the rest of the park's tenants, who do things like blare their music loudly and let their dogs and cats run free.
My mom's been able to pay the rent plus a bit of what's back due thanks to her promotion. We're still struggling, but we'll make it, I'm sure. I want to thank you all for your support during my struggles; I really appreciate how kind you've all been, your words and prayers of support mean the world to me. I feel as if there's a debt I owe to each and every one of you, and I promise I'll work the rest of my life to pay you back somehow for all that you've done. Thank you.

Welcome back! I had been wondering how you were doing. I had checked back on your Tumblr (Tokuokatime), but it seems it's gone now . Glad to know that things are changing for the better.

That's good, yeah. It's especially cool to see a landlord making exceptions for people who don't cause a lot of trouble, too. All too often you get people in charge who don't actually notice these things and just assume they're working with a huge group of idiots, no exceptions. The fact that they noticed you were well-behaved is a good indicator of character that you don't see too often with people who are in charge of large groups. It is very easy to look at a large group acting like idiots and overlook the minority that isn't.

Yeah, we've always been good neighbors here. We've lived in this trailer park for nearly fifteen years now, and the only incident I can think of where we've had to have the cops called was when my father was still drinking and tried to push my mom out of our front window (which was the incident, ironically enough, that got him to stop drinking). Otherwise, we've rarely got in trouble here.
As for my old tumblr, my sister forced my hand and I had to delete it due to all the posts about taking donations. She found it embarassing, because she's a spoiled rotten brat who had everything paid for by my dad (mostly, if not completely, with the money he stole), so she sees absolutely no problem with how things have turned out because she blames my mom for it all.
I have a new Tumblr account (Level44EnderShaman) though, and I restarted my Twitter (Lv44EnderShaman), so if you want to find me on those that's where I can be found. I'll post regular updates on my situation there.
