OK, game #1 will be up and running 30 seconds after I finish this thread. But first, there are some unanswered questions from the Interest check thread. I will answer those here, as best I can.
Can we have a preview for a general setting if you happen to see this message before tonight?
I tried to come up with a general setting, but it's really hard to without spoiling one or two surprises! I suppose the best way to explain it is to imagine Megaman1. It all takes place on 1 island, slowly uncovering the story as you go, exploration focused... IDK how to explain it better than that... sorry. It'll make sense once it gets rolling.
Also, Can Tron bring a Servbot sidekick along? He's only meant to serve as comic relief and won't take part in fights.
Normal suit sounds good! I forgot there was an in-universe solution: the Kevlar jacket. Any human can wear it, and it reduces 75% of all damage. Should be feasible.
And I'm 100% OK with a Servbot tagging along. If there's no objections fro the others, Feel free to bring one!
This part will apply to everybody, not just Teisel:
Firstly, from here on out, I will refer to Megamanand Roll together as Team Mega, and Teiseland Tron together as Team Bonne. Pretty simple, and it makes the title for the first chapter actually fit...
The RP starts by choosing your starter weapon. Team Mega will be given the choice of any weapon in the first game, except the shining laser. Also, the Active Buster will not start out powered up. As the story progresses, I'll slip in parts and items here and there to build new weapons, or to upgrade your current weapon if that's what you choose to use them for. All characters will have busters, but they won't be the main focus in combat.
Here's the trick, I'm not going to actively try to kill you. There's no set HP bar, and the story would not benefit from you dying, so that's not an issue here. (I come from DnD, so I'm not sure if that's as significant to you as it is to me...) Regardless, combat will not just be point and shoot, since that'd be a little bit bland for my taste. Rather, I aim to make each enemy encounter somewhat unique. So don't expect a room full of things that die in five buster shots, expect enemies with unique strengths and weaknesses that make for a dynamic combat experience.
As for Team Bonne, they aren't really shown to have a ton of individual weaponry, so it's a bit different for them. The way I see it, the Gesselshaft, Bruno, and their other exploded mechsall went into making the junk ship, so it stands to reason some of the weaponry must have been among the junk! Imagine taking a rapid firing cannon from a blumebearand mounting it on your arm. Imagine the green orb cannons, but smaller. Imagine the bomb-with-bonne-skull-logo launchers! Basically, just create your own unique special weapon. If you're stuck, just copy one of the MML1 special weapons, but add some Bonne flair!
As a final point, The first thread is going up tonight. The posts will work like this:
MML: Trinity Island (signifies the name of the game).
Team Mega/ Team Bonne/ Individual name (Shows who the thread is for.)
Chapter 1: Blah blahblah(Name of the chapter so we don't get lost.)
Feel free to read the other players' threads if you like, the only rule about it is that you're not allowed to let what you know but your character does, affect what you character does.
Alright, team Mega, your first post is up! All I need from you for now is your special weapon choice, then my follow up post will really this party started!

I think I'll go with the first option: a smaller, more "normal" Digger style suit. The mechaTron uses in MoTB(the Gustaff, aka what she uses in the third key ruins in MML2) is probably too powerful to be used here. A smaller suit would keep things simpler and keep Tron more fragile than the men.

While we're on the topic of combat gear, I'm not too sure what kind of weapon Teiselwould start out with. We're looking at either a standard Buster arm, or possibly a handheld version. Hard to tell, we never did see any of the Bonnesin combat without their mechas. Not even Bon is an exception because we don't know exactly what he really is.
