I generally can't handle seafood either; ruins the mayo. Perhaps the problem is that you haven't found the right brand of mayonnaise for you. Perhaps branded, store-bought mayonnaise isn't right for you, you'd prefer a home-made, custom mayonnaise that can be spiced and seasoned to your liking. The right eggs, vinegars, and oils, and in the right amounts, can make a world of difference in any other recipe. Perhaps your right mayonnaise involves some of that red pepper stuff. As long as your concoction can legally be called mayonnaise, it's not sacrilege (no saffron, no turmeric, nothing that makes it yellow, and it needs a LOT of vegetable oil. Not enough vegetable oil, and it's salad dressing.)

I wonder if I can change my vote, Chiz has convinced me that I need more mayonnaise in my life.

Well I use store bought mayo and not that often, just for burgers and BLTs nothing else really. I should look into homemade recipes now.

Chiz After viewing, and let's not include other verbs, your food recipes, I am disinclined to agree with your opinions of mayonnaise. I have never liked mayonnaise. Simply because I don't like the taste of it. Now a good barbecue sauce, that's good on sandwiches.

I've personally found mayonnaise to be a nauseating concoction when ingested. Whether or not it has something to do with my Sloppy Chiz experience is neither here nor there. Regardless, I cannot comprehend how you guys can stomach the stuff, or Chiz's fetishistic view towards it.
