Thanks to Dashe, I've recently learned that the genius(?) of unintentional entertainment is making a new sitcom titled; "The Neighbours". According the various sources, it's set to air on September of this year! It's like Christmas came early!
Yes, this is what you can expect from the show. SAVOUR IT.

Since it's Tommy, I'm not exactly holding him to that release date. "Oh yeah, September 2014 is my way of saying September 2024 with a different number in it." But if it does show up on schedule I will be checking out the full product. Maybe all of us should watch it at once like with The Room.

I would be up for that. I've got to say though this was like way weirder than I remember the Room being. At first I thought "Now he's just trying to be weird" but then I realized he was not. It's got to be the weirdest experience being one of those actors. My impression from the room was that the whole cast was actually freaking nuts.

My impression from the room was that the whole cast was actually freaking nuts. Actually, if you watch cast interviews or read The Disaster Artist, you'll learn that Wiseau was pretty much The Only Insane Man on the set. Nobody could grasp his directing style.

It's like a really, really innocent version of that one scene from that one movie. I still don't know anything about this thing, despite having seen 3 preview trailers for it (including the original 2009 one), except for the fact that it promises to be a painful delightful experience.

Wow. I managed to completely miss this thread. I'll be happy to watch it with everyone if we can make it happen like with The Room! Although synchronizing on our own local media players was a bit... different.

Theeeeere we go, I was wondering where everyone went! If this plays out anything like The Room, the plot's gonna be really basic in that "there's barely any plot" sort of way. Maybe something along the lines of "An apartment complex exists and people live in it."

I'd shudder to imagine a mass-viewing on this show's premiere. You can only handle so much Tommy Wiseau before, well... Obligatory.

So there's this footage from 2011. It's really rough and the resolution is horrible, but it seems to give more insight into the show. I initially thought this was out of character setup stuff, but the woman ("Oh hai, Ann! How are you?" during the bridge scene with Tommy the landlord, but also Phoebe during the Charlie dialogues) refers to Tommy as "Charlie", implying that at the very least, it's a cold reading of written material. Bonus points: The last shot has a man leaving, handing off a basketball, and pointing to Tommy saying that he wants to play catch later. Perhaps basketball is the new football? EDIT: The Asian actor is "Charlie" - Tommy is standing in for him, I think. Bridge scene has 2 different characters, but same actors. EDIT 2: lostmedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Neighbors_%282007_Pilot_by_Tommy_Wiseau%29A lot doesn't jive with what is known about the new promos, so this seems to exist in its own alternate dimension of Wiseau. Also, I'm done trying to speculate who is who.

I hope Tommy stays as the landlord simply because Ann tells him that he's so beautiful he's distracting.

Dashe, no, that's Bebe telling Charlie that he's so beautiful he's distracting. It's Bebe and Charlie during the cellphone scenes ('signature', 'cat') and Mariana and Charlie during the bridge scene. Or something. This is why I'm not speculating anymore, it's Wiseau, it's not suppose to make sense!

Tommy doesn't really seem like a landlord in the trailer up at the top. Just a crazy guy but I suppose that could be a landlord. Also did anyone notice that Lula or whoever isn't wearing the underwear when she walks in the room?

Loken, she's definitely wearing the underwear; as she's walking in, pay attention to the base of her dress, and you'll see a slight peek of red from the underwear. ...this is probably one of my most messed up posts in the 10 years I've been on MMLS. Damn you, Wiseau!

Princess Penelope sounds like the kind of character a seven-year-old girl would make up.
