Just to save time, I'm just gonna copy what I said over on the Devroom. If that's totally alright. Cheap I know, but what else can I say? This rocks man! (I went there.)
Get your hype-o'-meters ready, this is sure to break it.
Some Japanese GetMeOffTheMoon supporters, (lead by KobunNo0,) are developing their very own fan made 3D Megaman Legends 3!
Here's the insanely awesome jaw dropping and hilarious trailer,
here's the news page,
And here's the recruitment page of sorts. (though nothing like the Devroom or Mighty No. 9's Devroom.)
It's all in Japanese being from Japan and all, so just run it through Google translator or some other translator of your choosing, and get hyped.
Now please do not let this distract you from wanting or petitioning for the real MML3. If anything we should continue to, because no matter what we have to put our money where our mouth is and not let our hype for similar projects or even lingering frustration towards Capcom over the cancellations or any of their games in other franchises that didn't turn out so hot as advertised get in the way. If you want something, even something strikingly similar, you gotta work for it. Still, this could be yet another thing besides the 2D MML3 and besides our combined efforts over these past almost 3 years that could, in due time, show Capcom just how much we still want Legends 3. The real Legends 3. And how we'd still throw money at it, except for a few skeptics who assume literally everything from them is crap because SOME of it is. Or seemed to be at first before you actually tried it. If anything, if/when it does get revived, we could all make comparisons between the real MML3, Mighty No.9 and all the fan made projects or even play them in a marathon of sorts to see which one's better! Basically the Coke vs Pepsi vs RC Cola vs store brand test.
Still though, this is definitely yet another thing to be hyped over, be you a megaman fan, a disgruntled fan, a veteran Devroomer, or even a casual fan. And as long as it's around, and when it gets released, we gotta support it. It's basically (no offense to those involved,) what Project Legends could have been.
So spread the word however you can fellow fans! (hey that rhymed.) Post it at least once to all of your favorite Megaman and Capcom Facebook groups. (making sure you don't copy-paste the same post over and over like an idiot. Be creative.) Tweet the hell out of this, thanking @jisakudash3 and most importantly, using the #MML3 AND #DASH3 hashtags. See if we can get this trending, even if it doesn't immediately! Do the same on Tumblr or Wordpress or Google + with the same hashtags. Basically if you're on a social network, forum or other open outlet, and it doesn't discriminate towards gaming posts, as long as you don't spam, promote this project like it's going out of style and get involved some way or another. Just do anything but troll Capcom about it as they really don't read their Facebook, don't respond to most angry tweets, the staffers who run their communities and social network accounts/pages are not to blame, and doing it anywhere on Capcom-Unity will get ya warned, laughed at and banned.
Complaining to and bashing Capcom, or aiming your anger at what they actually are allowing or giving attention to hasn't worked and never will, whether it's justifiable or not. (it's often not anymore unless they screw up right now.) But actually doing something does. This is doing something.
