...okay, I've been struggling to come up with a reply that collects all my thoughts about this in a tactful, unoffensive way. It's not my goal to offend by this, but I have a few comments I have to express in some way. First off, most people introduce themselves before they start in posting, primarily in the introductions subforum, so that we know a little bit about you, your interests, your talents, your relationship with the Megaman series, and perhaps what brought you to our humble den of bureaucracy. This is hardly required, but it helps grease the social machine, as it were. Part of this struggle to reply is that I don't know anything about you on any level, so I can't effectively tailor my response to you. Secondly, your first post is about Anime Music Videos of a fan pairing for an obscure and completely unrelated Capcom game than the ones this forum is focused on. While this is not a problem, and there are many posts about just about everything not-Legends-related in this particular section of the forums, it's a very awkward and niche launching point for the discussion about a game (and being a member of any community, as per the first point). A generalized topic about Power Stone and what it is might serve as a better platform, which could naturally segue into theories, shippings, and the like. Thirdly, your post feels like an advertisement, or is leading up to one. We've had individuals SPAM irrelevant youtube videos before, and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for proof that this isn't the case. This isn't so much concrete immediate proof as it is building trust through participation in the community. Again, this isn't to be offensive or shunning in any way. Either way, welcome to MMLS and hopefully you'll enjoy your time here.

I think you've woefully misinterpreted Chiz's tone there, Falcouge. He's speaking from the viewpoint of an average MML fan. To be perfectly honest with you, Power Stone is a complete enigma to me, and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if you're the only person here aware of its existence. Secondly, and this goes in tandem with what I've previously stated; It's a niche game around here, so it'd definitely benefit more from a generalized thread for discussion, rather than just jumping straight into the murky waters of shipping.
I'd also appreciate it if you'd not act so critical towards Chiz's justified concerns. We have had serious spam issues in the past, so it's only natural that our moderators would like to see if our newest member is indeed human, and not some machine near the coast of Pakistan. Had you made an introduction thread first, and then made this thread, there'd be no issues whatsoever.

I'll throw in my two cents.
I have no clue what Power Stone either, and I kinda have to back up Chiz and Kyle on the... interesting choice of media to share as an initial first impression from a new member to a forum. While there's nothing wrong with it, some insight on Power Stone itself would be nice, since 3/3 people of this forum already are dumbstruck by the appearance of it.
So far, the only similarity that you've correlated between yourself and us is that Power Stone is similar to the Megaman Series in that it's being ignored by Capcom; and that's all I got. A new question would be what would you hope to gain from this?

I wasn't being critical. I was just merely correcting him. Be that as it may, you could've been a bit more respectful about it. You've read the rules, right? Rule #2 - Respect othersI'm trying my best to be fair about this, Falcouge, but your current tone isn't helping the discussion. Worst part is, this thread is getting horribly derailed because of our kerfuffle. I'd just kindly request that you take everything we've said into consideration, no matter how "incorrect" it may sound.

So far, the only similarity that you've correlated between yourself and us is that Power Stone is similar to the Megaman Series in that it's being ignored by Capcom; and that's all I got. A new question would be what would you hope to gain from this? This, really. Your thread seems more in the vein of "This is my work, look at how in love these anime characters are!" than "Hi, I'd like to show you my work in order to become a relevant part of this community," or "I'd like to help strengthen alliances between fans of Capcom games that are being ignored by learning about Mega Man Legends and teaching you guys about Power Stone." By all means, correct me if I'm wrong, but if four out of four of us haven't got the vaguest idea of what Power Stone is, then you might as well be talking about where to buy the best discount Viagra. As of this moment, you seem to have no inclination towards doing anything but posting Power Stone AMVs. It's a bit of a breach of forum etiquette around this place (and generally anywhere online, if you were to ask me) to just pop in out of nowhere and post up art of something that has nothing to do with the subject of a given message board before getting to know the community through an intro post. There are a bunch of more socially adept ways of going about this, like by participating in threads actually relevant to the games that the forum is about, so you can show us what kind of common ground we've got. Or even by starting a general thread about Power Stone to ask if any of us know what it is. It's certainly not good form anywhere to snap at a mod for questioning your motives no matter where you're posting. So yeah, is there anything that actually brings you to MMLS, or are you treating this place like a dumping ground for your Power Stone AMVs?

So I agree with everyone that basically everything about this thread's existence is just bizarre. But I really disagree with everyone who says falcouge was rude in his response to Chiz. I just don't get that vibe when I read the post. I mean, his argument for Power Stone not being obscure is strange -- but beyond that it reads as the closest thing to an evenhanded explanation of his behavior that a person obsessed with shipping a pairing from an obscure 1999 anime could hope to muster. Really weird, but not rude, critical or what I would view as snapping. The idea of correcting a mod who has nothing but constructive criticism for you is a bit much, but even that came off as being more oblivious than rude.

42, you weren't there when we had the guy--the completely human one, mind you--who did nothing but promote Sic Ill's music on MMLS. No intro, no intent to ever discuss the thing the board's about...or anything other than Sic Ill...He might as well have been hawking Dress Up Games* or Discount Jerseys*. I mean, even if you were to argue that his responses weren't outright rude, you can't deny that his responses are disproportionately defensive.
*Yes, these are real things that bots have tried to sell us.

Don't get me wrong -- until falcouge starts showing an interest that doesn't involve promoting his own Youtube videos and him-specific interests, I'm going to assume that he has dubious motives for joining MMLS. I'll reserve all other opinions until he proves otherwise.

Really, there is no need to get all defensive. Just...breathe. Like we said, we've had issues with other people who've literally just come here to advertise their own work, and we did offer points of reference.
Since thankfully this isn't the case, you could've completely avoided any kind of a scuffle by making an intro thread and introducing yourself before posting a bunch of your work...which like I said, will probably serve you well with every community you join. There's no real need to panic here. We cool?

I'm not panicking. And why would we not be cool? Of course we are.
