I'm not sure how loud he wants the fans to be, but I'm doing my best to promote the game in a few other sites with my avatar, my signature and comments in relevant topics, any more than that might be intrusive in my opinion... I definitely want a sequel though!

That rising water bit gets everyone. I wound up losing two of my four Gunvolts to it so far. The others were a bad mistimed upside-down jump and a really high damaging super attack from another boss that I wasn't paying attention on. Game has challenge, but the leveling up system is going to help a lot of players.
I'm also hoping for a sequel... but I should actually try and beat this game soon. I've been going through it real slowly since I got it!

What about the voice acting? I read that the NA version would have the voices removed or something.

What about the voice acting? I read that the NA version would have the voices removed or something. Only for the dialogue between characters. Bosses and Gunvolt retain their in-battle voice clips, but still in Japanese. Anyhow, I got the game just two days ago, and finished it yesterday. Gameplay does not disappoint, however, story is rather weak. Aside from that, I'd like to see a sequel here. Especially if they include something like the chance to fight Adepts from this game if Save Data is found. And I mean all seven of them. *glares intensely at Copen*

I still haven't gone through the extra stages even though I beat this game last month. I was amazed at the high quality of the gameplay. I think not being tied down to the Mega Man brand allowed them to do things they wouldn't have otherwise. That also applies to the story.

Definitely, I think the dialogue wouldn't have been well received by most of the Megaman fanbase, they'd all have insisted that it takes away from the series' seriousness.

I managed to get the soundtrack up over the past week, albeit with song titles' unofficial names for the most part.

While it wasn't bad the soundtrack didn't impress me at all outside of Lumen's songs, which I didn't hear much because I'm not a very good player... I'm looking forward to the vocal collection soundtrack!

That should be coming out in mid-November, although it takes a couple of weeks for most people to put it up.

I think an announcement for the 1.2 update merits a bit of necromajicks here. It adds a new Boss Rush mission and two Lumen songs. All I can say is that Joule going AWOL for the final battle resulted in numerous deaths, and billions of spent shells.

Well NOW that the game finally made it to European E-shop I can finally play it and.. My god why I can't stop playing.
I'm seriously questioning my sanity here, There are not many stages and yet I always find myself replaying them over and over. Mostly for practice though... and item farming. I'm a tad bit disappointed that they omitted the cutscenes' voice acting, but then again, Zero/Zx did the same... ah right, this is not Megaman, sorry. By the way all I own is a 2DS so there might be some differences in how I experienced the game.
The sprites are amazingly detailed. There are no extra tidbits towards the enemies or the player. Everything that's presented to you is in equal amount to what they are supposed to do. When I look at spritesheets I like to notice where there are breaks in movement (an arm suddenly teleporting 50º upwards or something), but I don't think that those sudden breaks are found here. Gunvolt himself has a fluid movement which goes well with his speed.
It took me a long time to get familiar with the "tag and zap" system. It is not very intuitive for me who is used to "jump n' shoot". I was somewhat disgusted at the puny amount of damage that the gun delivers but it is so satisfying to zap an enemy wherever it is. Of course you have to hit it once first! ASIHLLFVBASIHFVBASJLVFALSFJ STOP DODGING
Since I replay mostly for fun and to train myself with the controls, the replaying options like the challenges and item/money gathering are secondary to me. To be fair you should be able to actually buy stuff and not only craft it, but oh well.
The script is tons of fun. Gunvolt is a sarcastic little brat who is actually more mature than he looks, the conversations between him and the two operators are spot-on (looking at you, cute and lovely Moniqe), and the trash talk of the bosses is fairly amusing. I don't know if this was done before but an hermaphrodite character was a very interesting twist (although I never noticed that until I actually saw... uh... it? xim? Xer? is that how it's actually done? Also translators, nice way to censor the curse words there! I wonder if they are obvious or if they fly under the radar of everybody.
I'm slightly mad for the music. Why? it's great! And I can barely hear it. The sound effects of tagging, zapping and exploding are way too loud. Still have to try it with headphones. Also the voiced songs. Although I still have to yet hear one outside of Lumen's Anthem when you die (because of the absurd amount of "kudos" you need). I so want a soundtrack of this!
I still didn't fully complete the game though. I got all the 7 chaos emeralds jewels. And got a nice, useless pendant from that. Even if I start the last stage with it equipped I have yet to go the upside-down castle other ending/boss. I hope I didn't break it midway.

I was somewhat disgusted at the puny amount of damage that the gun delivers but it is so satisfying to zap an enemy wherever it is. It takes some practice, but it's doable, especially with Orochi to maximize tagging. As for jumping n' shooting, completing Satan's Castle the Gauntlet rewards you with the Dullahan, which is essentially the original Mega Buster in handgun form. I suggest wearing two Optical Advantages and/or a Lethal Lavalier, preferably plus versions. That, or find and shoot the secret sprites with the Mizuchi. Just have it equipped from start to end, and you'll be fine. Make sure it's on you before even starting the mission.

When you're playing along normally, you'll get one of the best guns of the game two stages down with the Naga. That allows for more than three tags which makes double and even triple kills easier. Those point boosts and playing a game of chicken with the checkpoints is what gets that Kudos score up over 1000 points for the stage-specific Anthem to kick in. It's more of a thing for replays since you don't know he stages off the bat, so I really appreciate that they made this game somewhat easy to get near the end but tough to master.
