Hard to say on that, its getting closer towards its goal...plus theres the Paypal funds that are not shown on kickstarter, too.
Wait and see, as they say. I have my fingers crossed for 3DS release though.
EDIT: Looks like it reached the 3DS / PSP goal...!

The final result from the kickstarter: ~$3,845k, + ~$186k from Paypal = $4,031k (read: over 4 Million USD) raised. - This means there's 8 main levels/bosses, as well as an intro and an extra end level/boss, most likely a final final boss, and a special stage for Call, making a total of at least 12 stages.
- The game will be released for Windows, Linux, Mac, PS3, PS4, Vita, 360, XBOne, Wii U, and 3DS.
- There are several bonus modes, including a new game plus, boss rush, a co-op mode, and a competitive speedrun mode.
- The soundtrack will have "retro, chiptune-style" renditions available.
All of the stretch goal information is still on the kickstarter page but no more funds or backers can be contributed. As for the Call designs, H got 10% of the vote, E got 24%, and F was a runaway winner with over 30% of the 82000(!) votes. Those 3 will move ahead to a 2nd vote between them, where the backers can choose which of them will actually be the canon Call design. As an aside, Call 'D' was Inafune's.

Cool. I hope Call isn't too terribly different from Beck in her stage. I mean, uniqueness is great, but I hope she doesn't get "wimp girl'd."

Ditto. I actually forget what those three designs even looked like, except that F looked quite a bit like Roll from Universe. I think.

I heard the words "available", "3DS", and "for". Time to start door-to-door window washing. As for Call, best of luck to design F.

E was the stewardess with Tails as a hairpiece, F was Roll Call, and H reminded me of Penny from Inspector Gadget. I'll be honest, I voted for F in the main poll, but I think E won me over. Shame I didn't have the money to back this to vote on the backers' vote, but I'd rather see not-Roll Call win now.
Also, I am so happy that all of the available goals were reached. It wound up being the third most successful gaming Kickstarter to date. People love their Mega Man, Capcom.

I don't like E's hair. And also I'm surprised with the H result... I would not have expected H to get the time of day.

It's just conjecture at this point, but Inafune isn't dead-set against Capcom publishing Mighty No. 9 Was this all some sort of elaborate plan to both revive the Mega Man IP and slap Capcom across the face? Only time will tell, but if so, I applaud you, Inafune. I freakin' applaud you.

Only time will tell, but if so, I applaud you, Inafune. I freakin' applaud you. I know that a bunch of people misread it somehow as saying "I'll definitely work with Capcom!" and had a large and rather embarrassing hissy fit, because Capcom's screwed up so many times that just positively suggesting Capcom hypothetically to them is like showing a cross to a vampire, and it embarrasses me to no end that they would throw a temper tantrum at anybody who white knights Capcom or at a hypothetical what if, but that's about it. I take this as proof that for as much as people use MN9 against Capcom, the only people who still carry an undying grudge against Capcom and everything they do over Legends 3's cancellation, are the fans. Capcom doesn't seem to care about MN9, Inafune feels no ill will towards them and wouldn't mind burying the hatchet, the only people flipping their spaz switches screaming "HAHA SCREW YOU CRAPCOM!" are some of the fans. 7 times out of 10, the more irrational annoying fans who make the rest of us more civilized fans look crappy.

Handlebar-Orion X.: By all means, link anybody to this thread if they're getting annoyed about Inafune's statement. All it takes is a second perspective to calm things down. ...Or make things worse.

Whelp, I'm officially stoked! The Mighty No. 9 dev team just released a sneak peek at the backer-exclusive Mighty No. 9 forums! Community development for the win!If you were ever a part of the Devroom during Legends 3's development, you probably know how this goes. Only there's way less of a chance of this ever getting cancelled mid development. (Not because it's not being developed by Capcom, I'm not one of those annoying "Capcom's gonna cancel everything and everything they make sucks and DLC and blah dee dah!" guys, but because Inafune has full control of it.)

I haven't been keeping much of an eye on this (slight loss of interest mainly), but I was wondering why there was no new updates for some time. Glad to hear theres something going on in the background.

Yeah apparently we all need Mighty Numbers for now to sign into the forums. I'm still awaiting mine at the moment. But as Handlebar-Orion X stated. There's a less likely chance of this getting cancelled. If at the most it can be postponed, but yeah having the creator himself over things. It's shaping up to being a pretty cool game.

Jad, "Arukoitan" is a posting rank, not a name. Most of our ranks are Reaverbots--yours is Mirumijee, and it changes based on how much you post. You're talking about Handlebar, right?
I've popped into their forums a bit, as a social courtesy thing. "Yeah, hi, I backed the game. I like Mega Man Legends. I'll probably just lurk, though." That sort of deal. If anything, it's probably a good idea for the people less interested in diving into production to sound off so they don't get a false representation of how many people are interested in the project. That's the major downside to a devroom style production--not everyone wants to make a game. I wouldn't mind making a game, personally, but I'd rather be paid for my time if it isn't a Legends game, know what I'm saying?
