It's that time once again, where we get everyone together, lock 'em in a small room, and don't let 'em out until they've created a masterpiece to rival the classics! It's...
...the long-awaited, entirely unique MMLS Summertime BBQ!
Can you believe that the Megaman Legends Station has existed for a little over 10 years now? It's been a long road, but we have become friends, comrades, and partners in not only our shared love of a series many of us grew up with, but also beyond this - we've shared personal victories and disappointments; joys and frustrations... We ought to celebrate each other, at least once, in the best way we know how: free food and fanart.
Being entirely unique and not at all based on or inspired by Secret Santa whatsoever, the procedure for this event is quite different from what you may have come to expect over the last 5 years!
Good luck to all participants!

THE ENTIRELY UNIQUE EVENT'S DETAILS
Being entirely unique and not at all based on or inspired by Secret Santa whatsoever, the procedure for this event is quite different from what you may have come to expect over the last 5 years!
- Sign-ups begin June 15th and run until the 30th. Participation must be in a group of 2-4 people, as this event is about friendship and cooperation. Only one person needs to be an MMLS member, but it would be nice (but not absolutely required) of all members were members of some Megaman-inclusive forum, blog, or community. (This is to say, an ideal 3-man group could be "Alice from MMLS, Bob from MMN, and Charlie from 100K".) CATCH: A team should not entirely consist of closely related people! Working with your siblings or cousins is fine, but this is an event about community, not family. Include someone else, too!
- Creation can begin at any time, but must conclude on July 31st at 11:59PM US Eastern Time. You should have at least a month to work on this; however, if you happen to be in a group that's been working on something for the last 3 months, by all means, sign up if you can finish it by the end of July!
- Creation can be any medium that can convey the spirit of the subject! Visual art, fiction, music, an operetta, a sculpture, a video game, a comic book, an interpretive dance...anything is permitted, so long as it is done as a team, it is thematically appropriate, and is complete by the deadline. We have really opened this up, as not everyone is good at any one particular field, but everyone is good at something. While working in groups, you may discover that one member is strong in one aspect, and another member has strengths elsewhere; do not be afraid to work these together into something greater.
- The subject is: MMLS and the larger Legends community. Other keywords welcomed/encouraged are: community, summertime, history, and festivity. These topics aren't required, but may provide some good inspiration for teams without a solid idea of the direction they'd like to take. Unlike SS, this is also totally about self-inserts - a good way to celebrate the community is how YOU fit into it, since you are part of it. As this is the only subject, teams are not submitting requests, and won't be filling requests, but inspiring other teams with suggestions and ideas is welcomed.
- There is no one winner, and there is no premium badge. There are no additional hurdles beyond working with someone else. There's also no prize for doing spectacularly, and no penalty for not being "the best". Don't be afraid to participate - there IS something you can do, and we would love to see what it is.
Good luck to all participants!
