I hope that Mega will at least get alternate costumes that resemble the other Mega's in his Final Smash. I have a feeling it's going to end up being MegaMan2 weapon colors though.

This is MegaMan's Final Smash in SSB4! Look at these models! These are amazing! I also love how Volnutt is about to do the splits there. XD I've was never a fan of smash balls, but I guess that's about to change.

I was excited enough that MegaMan was appearing, but now Greninja just had to show up and be a badass. I hate having to pick sides. Either way, that Final Smash is simply just too epic to handle. Not to mention the detail of those models. It actually looks like X and Rock share the same architecture. Just gotta love it when the developers show their work.

General reaction to Megaman's move set in Smash Bros. Step 1: Get hyped for a good reason! Step 2: Nerdgasm at the final smash. Step 3: Somehow bash Capcom uncontrollably, because of their previous screw ups and the fact that Sakurai's using Megaman better, despite the fact that they let him use it in the first place. Basically shouting "But screw you CRAPCOM, go bankrupt and sell it anyway 'cause cancellations!" Step 4: Leave.

Welp, I'm still not seeing hide nor hair of Ruby-Spears' Mega Man in that image. Heck, not even Bad Box Art Mega Man. What a jiff! Edit: At least Volnutt is a bad enough dude to not wear his stupid-ass safety helmet. Take that, X!

Oh, wow. I just caught the newest SSB4 news. Mega Man's final smash, Charizard and Greninja, and the fact that the 3DS version is being released in summer. That's a lot for me to be excited for.

How intriguing. I had no clue there was going to be a version for 3DS. I can easily guarantee that I'll grab it when it comes out. Having a birthday in the summer will help. Volnutt looks as great as ever in the final attack; especially in that high quality gif. Also, Classic Megaman stops clenching his teeth when the beams unleash.

Wow so Volnutt will be in the game! Terrific. I hope there is a helmetless costume for MM. I really hate to have to buy a 3ds but I just might!

He'll be in the game, but I don't think he'll be a playable character sadly. This goes for all the Mega Men in the Final Smash.

There is only two things that annoy me in Megaman's moveset:
- First, the fact that the charge shot cannot be stored since it is a Smash attack. I cannot stress myself at how bad this is for a Megaman gamer that grabs this game. At least normal Megabuster shots can be fired normally, but still, holding down the button would be a better choice for a charge attack. Samus can do it, and apparently the Wii Fit Trainer also has it, so I don't see why this is not applicable to Megaman.
- Second, it's the overwhelm of MM2. I mean ALL of the special moves are from weapons taken from Megaman 2. Why? I can see Metal Blade since it is popular, but Leaf Sheild? Crash Bomb? Air Shooter? Couldn't there be valuable options that could easily replace those... like Water Shield (hey its a Wii game, I don't see why not) or Proton Missile (lots of good practical uses with its delayed fire) and if that wasn't enough there is the Megaman Stage itself which is from Megaman 2 (and somehow they put the Gutsman platforms from Megaman 1 for no reason. And Yellow Devil). Maybe I am over thinking this due to Megaman 2 being the most popular but come on, that's pushing it, no?
Also they missed a good chance for having Charge Kick instead of normal slide.... I like Charge Kick.
Everything else is fine. Nintendo, you are allowed to proceed.

I agree with you, Tuga. But to be fair, not ALL of Mega's moves are Megaman 2 based. He has Flame Man's weapon, Flame Blast (MM6), Hard man's Hard Knuckle (MM3) and Top Man's Top Spin (MM3). And before anyone starts, it has been shown that the Top Spin is not completely useless.
I definitely agree with the point you made of the Charge Shot unable to be stored though. If Samus can store her charge shot, why can't Mega?

That's not exactly the point I am trying to make. I am talking about 4 different weapons all from MM2. I would say that two would be okay, and three would be pushing it. Four... yeah. Also, if you ask me, out of all games, the weapons from MM2 are the least useful. As I mentioned in the examples in my previous post.
And before anyone says "But MM3 has four as well!" The Slide and Rush Coil are NOT MM3 exclusive as it should be obvious.
Lets hope that something can be done in this "Customized Moveset" They talked about.
P.S. - I'm aware that there is also a "guard" move, right? If so would that be a barrier weapon or just Megaman holding his arms in front of him?

I know, and I agree that four weapons form Megaman 2 are a bit much, but all I'm saying is not all of them are from 2. I'm sorry for any confusion in my post.
Wait? There's a "Customized Moveset" option in the game?

There's a "Customized Moveset" option in the game? They claimed that there will be more "customisation" that will be included, but they never said it was for the Movesets. It can mean just about anything, ranging from characters, costumes, stages, etc. But in the event they allow Movesets to be tinkered around with, then you best pray that you don't run into some never-miss OneHit-KO move.
