Can you imitate the voice and tone of a character of the MegaMan Legends franchise? I've tried, but my voice is not dynamic enough to change into one of them. At most I can imitate the tone, but the validity of that statement depends on who you ask and when.
How about YOU. Can you pull off the voice of any character? You could even try right now if you've never had the idea of talking like one before. If you can, just tell us. We are naive nice enough to believe your lie word. If you don't think we'll truly believe you, and you might be right, then feel free to take the extra step and make some voice recording.
P.S. I know. This topic feels forced. I need better ideas for topics...

I've tried Tiesel, and I feel like I can get it close but not close enough. I need to work on the grumble. I've also tried Bon, embarrassingly enough, which wasn't that bad. But it was still pretty bad. XD Always wanted to do voice work, but I never had a reason to.
I know there are some people around here with some awesome voice talents, though. *Cough*Dashe*Cough*

Nope. Haven't been able to convincingly imitate any character since my voice changed... I might be able to get kind of close to the intro narration voice over, lol. I'm afraid to try Juno's voice. There aren't any big-black-man voices in the MML universe... =(

They're not super deep voices, but it's all about practicing vocal range and inflections. You don't need to keep your voice in the "safe zone".

Actually, I'm only a medium sized person, and my voice, while not high, is not exceptionally deep (my lowest note is the second E below middle C. Great for tuning guitars ). I thought about Claymore. I haven't seriously tried to do a voice since I was 11 years old, hehe. Maybe I'll give it a few shots. My natural voice really isn't suited to impression work, though. I'm sure a lot of training would help with that, though. I could probably do Barrel's voice if I tried really hard. My range isn't that great, though. I can get the inflections right, but it's the pitching that gets me. My best impression to date is Dr. Wily's evil cackle from Mega Man 8, hehe. I did that one for a fan-game I made so many years ago. hehe.

I never really tried to mimic a voice... except that one time when I was attempting to make a Birdbot's voice for the casting of the Megaman Legends 2 Abridged... My throat hurt after that, but I think I somehow pulled it off. But apparently I was the only one thinking that since I was not chosen for the part.
Now thinking back... I might have sounded more like a tribal cannibal after lunch than a robot with a birdbrain.

It often comes out either too soft or too cackley. XD I'll definitely need to work on it for Tiesel, since his laugh is cackley as hell. I wouldn't call it voice acting, since I do it randomly because it sounds funny, but I often make the "Kekeee~" sound that Birdbots make when they're hit.

I can imitate a hefty chunk of the cast, but you guys already know that, right? Mega Man, Bon, Roll, Tron, Servbots...that's about what I can name off the top of my head.

You could do a whole drama cd by yourself if you wanted to, Dashe. That'd be pretty interesting. You could dub a drabble story or something. */me wonders if Dashe ever does weird things with the characters' voices, like having them sing love songs to each other and stuff...*

I did do a recording of Mega Man singing classic rock and forgetting most of the words with a shower loop running over it, but I can't figure out what I did with that. It's been at least a year.

I can imitate Juno's voice almost perfect, have you heard his Japanese voice? Well, I can do it too! I also tried Gatz voice once but I think I need more practice...
(Here's hoping that someone can imitate Yuna, Geetz and The Master for my little project XP)

Kind of like Striker, I tend to have better luck nailing Japanese voices. Mainly the deeper/manlier ones, like Yakuza or something. I should listen to the original MML voice acting and see if I can pull anything off...

I can do a bit of Tiesel and Barrel... but... probably not as good as it seems from my perspective. (Your recorded voice always sounds different from your own speaking voice... I think it has to do with how your own body reverberates when you speak)
