I would advise against signing "those". Nobody will ever notice, but I'm not making any promises.

The paperwork? Oh, I guess you haven't been stalking the intro threads! It's a tradition of sorts. Since Chiz and I are bureaucracy junkies, everyone who joins MMLS gets free paperwork. It's like a goodie bag. One that you fill out. One that may or may not determine your eligibility for the back alley Tuttle's Legendary Travels Betting Ring that may or may not exist.

If you are chosen, you cannot refuse. If you don't... well, let's just say I've never seen anyone refusing. In retrospect, I've never heard of anyone being accepted either. What gives? Chiz promised us Slot Machines for our accounts back in iScribble with bet-able Chizbucks!

Ah, a cosplayer, hm? And one who's not only a dedicated fan of MML, but also one who is now a former silent site-wanderer? As it happens I have a bit of a soft spot for people who fall into that last category...time to crack out the 'ole greeting protocols I suppose. You are indeed welcome to these storied forums of ours. Do feel free to hang out and tell us more about the joys of cosplaying, if that's your mode of choice. Hey, even regular-type conversations about MML or whatever else captures your fancy are perfectly fine if that's what you wanna do. And yes, it's true- in the past we'd had at least one other Tron Bonne cosplayer here, if only briefly as Kyle mentioned. Outside of the 'Station there've been a few more, including another Tron with a Gustaff/Servbot marionette set costume attachments and a reporter-outfit Teisel Bonne; not to mention Score and Hope's MegaMan Volnutt/Roll Caskett costumes as well. The amount of public cosplayers rather matches the size of our fanbase, but it's more than made up for in the quality those cosplays tend to be.

I mostly just perused the site for fanart and because all of the official art is here. I remember I used a picture of Roll from this site as a reference for a poster I made to put on my wall. I have it somewhere, I will have to dig it out. Pretty sure I was in 7th or 8th grade when I painted it! Haahah. I did another piece in my art class of a room for a perspective exercise and on the wall I had painted in a picture of roll and one of tron also. Hahaha. I will look for them tonight. Honestly, I never really thought about joining or posting on the forums! The whole reason I came back to the site, was through a search of images of Tron for my cosplay. I wanted to make sure I was getting all of the details right. I know in the official artwork it shows her wearing a blue jacket and brownish leggings but in the actual game, she is wearing black tights and a black jacket. I decided to go with how I saw her in the game.

HEY. We do NOT beat our members unless they mention that we beat members. And we do NOT use nightsticks! Pay no attention to 'the' Foetus, Laura.

Welcome. I personally prefer the in-game limited-detail version of Tron myself.
btw, that's a beautiful photo you have as your avatar. You are a lovely photographer (just checked out some of your work). My personal favorite is the one with the feather. Can't wait for you to finish your Tron costume and upload some cosplay stuff.

You all seem too nice to beat anyone! and thanks, SketchMan3! Just curious, where are all of you guys from? Here is a little more about myself and how i discovered the series: I'm originally from Michigan, born there and lived there till I was 20. Then I joined the Air Force and now I am stationed in Illinois. It's a pretty cool area, we are about half an hour from St. Louis so there is plenty to do! Someone requested my top 10 fears, but I think I will skip that one! My hobbies are ever changing- but always deal with creating something. Whether it be drawing, painting, scrapbooking, photography, sewing, cosplaying- im all about art! I'm not a sports person, but I do enjoy running a couple times a week, and I did the Air Force half marathon last year- probably one of my biggest accomplishments, sadly. Hahah! I am married to another Air Force member that I met while we were both in the process of enlisting. I do not have kids, but I have a rabbit named Shredder, three cats- Butters, Muse, and Noob- and a German Sheperd named Germany! I discovered MML through my dad and brother. My dad was always a classic MM fan and he came across Legends one day and showed it to my brother. My brother begged him to buy it, but my dad said he had to earn it. So he did chores non stop for two days and my dad surpised him with it after work. After my brother beat it, he suggested it to me. I remember having the hardest time figuring out how to beat the Marlwolf. Haha. After that, I went on to beat Legends 2, and then discovered MoTB. I will admit, I have only beat Legends 2 once, because Sera was so hard, I'm scared to beat her again! Hahah. Lately, I have been listening to all the MML music that I downloaded from this site. It's nice to run to! Haha. Oh and also, this is the first forum I have ever joined, so if I do something against forum etiquette, please let me know!

That's a cool story. I'm curious to know what your dad thought of the new Mega Man. MML seems to have a wide appeal for the whole family. My siblings used to love watching me play MML. My brother for the "parkour" elements of running around the city on buildings and stuff, my sisters for the complicated relationships, and everybody loved the action and suspense and comedy, of course.
As for your question, I'm originally from California. We moved to the South (North Carolina) when I was seven, and moved around a bit more over the years (Missouri, Georgia) before settling back in NC. I clung to skateboarding, my favorite Cali past-time, like a life-preserver (though I didn't get very good at it) and made a huge effort not to get caught up in all the racial issues that pop up in the south. yep yep, that's where I'm from.
Edit: Oh oh, you said you've been listening to the MML music on this site? You should check out the fan-made "Mega Man Legends 3 Concept Album" compilation which was inspired by the tragically canceled Mega Man Legends 3 project, and created in support of bringing Legends 3 back. A-side is original music inspired by the canceled game and fan-art created for the game, B-side is a collection of remixes.

Okay, I will have to check those out for sure! There is another band I like, that I posted about in another topic, called The Protomen. But they are inspired by MM Classic. They basically tell Mega Man's story through their music. You should check them out if you haven't already!

You all seem too nice to beat anyone! Always be cautious of the nice ones. They're the most likely to blindside you. I'm from the heart of Ireland. Which is pretty awesome, since I get to be MMLS' token Irish member! I'm also the only person in my household that even plays video-games, so MML was never a family-orientated event for us. I'd love to tell you my hobbies, but I'd probably end up getting blacklisted by certain organizations... I've heard to the Protomen, too. To be honest, they're not really my kind of thing. I just... don't get their style.

I actually took a solo trip to Ireland when I was 19 and it was so beautiful. I would love to go back! Also, normally The Protomen wouldn't be my style either, but their love of Mega Man won me over! Haha. I actually tear up when I listen to a couple of their songs. Lol. Oh, and speaking of tearing up, did anyone else tear up at the end of the first Legends game? Maybe it's just because I am a girl...Hahaha. My husband still makes fun of me for admitting that to him.

You're now the second woman to ever admit how jealous she is of my living conditions. Kudos!
The ending of MML1? Every time I watch it, I get this funny feeling...
