I took the concept of "Legends" as being a meaningful part of the story, where I thought that every 100 years or so, a blue hero would rise up and defeat the evil purple haired monster, and that had been happening since the the bow and arrow days (I got that idea from misinterpreting the painting of the legendary hero). I thought it was both a prophecy and a record of the past. Then you get the subplot of Slayers. Huh. I never thought about it that way. To be perfectly honest, I originally assumed that Volnutt's name was actually going to be 'Legends', keeping in trend with the way Capcom named their Mega Man games. Though, that whole prophecy or the subplot of Slayers just seems a little too cliché. I'd like to think that while Volnutt is indeed the current 'reincarnation' of Mega Man Trigger, his appearance on Kattelox Island was just a complete fluke on his behalf.

Along with "You're Under Arrest!" and "Akazukin ChaCha", it was back in an era of writing when the series doesn't need to take itself seriously most of the time, and when the filler was actually fun as it didn't shoehorn itself in between more serious story arcs.

Poh
That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

Eh, black then I didn't know about those types of story conventions. It was a totallynew concept to me.
