As some of you might be aware, 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3 is firing off a rocket at the Hearne Municipal Airport in Texas on the 12th--that's next Saturday (ffff. I can't count). They're going to be filming it, and it's a pretty good looking and functional model. Hope's going to be there dressed as Roll, too. I really hope they manage to get the footage without any mishaps. Those guys put a lot of effort into making this happen.

I really wish I could go to this event! If I could book a flight, I'd be there. But alas, my wallet hungers. So it's good that they'll be shooting video. Really interested in seeing how everything turns out. Let's hope everything goes smoothly and they get that rocket going.

Wow, this is pretty awesome. I didn't know they were doing this. I hope everything goes good, I'd really hate to see the rocket malfunction. :C I can't wait to see it. I wonder where it will land? Hopefully it won't do any damage

Here's hoping that it explodes five seconds after launch. We need that MML-authenticity!

Here's hoping it makes it to the moon! And Kyle, the MML-authenticity would be if the launch was canceled because it didn't meet the airport's criteria....

Ha, yeah that's more like it. I do really hope it goes well though. It's a really cool idea and something that I'm sure they planned for a while. I wonder who made it? Score?

I wonder where it will land? Hopefully it won't do any damage Let's hope it stays around the same area, so they don't have to go on a wild goose chase to find it. And let's hope it stays in one piece when it does land. XD I've never seen these kinds of things in action before, so I have no idea what they do after the launch. And Kyle, the MML-authenticity would be if the launch was canceled because it didn't meet the airport's criteria.... Just vomited. Yup, that's vomit alright.

I wonder who made it? Score? I hope not! Unless Score is also a professional rocket-maker. I'd say that they outsourced the actual construction of the rocket to an expert. I have no idea what they do after the launch. I'd imagine there'd be chanting, dancing and just general shenanigans. Afterwards, the majority of attendees will probably realize that they never arranged for a ride home. Stranding them in Texas. A sad, sad tale.

@kyle, Score is a professional everything, I think. It'll be fiiiine.
Also, isn't everyone in Texas stranded? lol
@mr. Foe, You're going to want to put some sawdust on that.

They actually did outsource it to an expert. Then it got shipped to Score. Or Hope. One of those two. Once this is over it's going to be sent to the guy who donated a load of money to fund the rocket's construction...hopefully it'll still be in one piece!
Oh, and thanks Dragge, I fixed the day of the week.

I was actually just checking the Facebook page to see if they had launched the thing yet (been busy the past couple of weeks). After finding out they hadn't, guess what the first thread I see on here is? Oops! Rooting for a good rocket launch.
