The screenshot is perfect! I've already begun scaling it properly. I was actually 9in. off in the total scale of the Reaverbot! If it was 3 to 4 inches I wouldn't have cared so much because it doesnt really change the overall appearance to a Robot that stands over 12 ft tall anyways (With Head Spike Included). But 9in. is almost a foot in incorrect scaling. The images on the MMLS website didn't portray it perfectly which I should have assumed so because it's not like they were put up for scaling purposes anyway haha. So shame on me for assuming such.
But the scaling on it is turning out great and I'll probably be starting the actual construction of the Reaverbot sometime within March probably. Affording the materials for this is going to be a pain.
I'll be sure to post more pictures soon on progress and thank you again, Loken! You DEFINITELY helped me a bunch!
No problem friend, I had a blast playing through the game. I actually noticed that the arukoitan in the sub-city are just as big as ones everywhere else. Good luck, I can't wait to see your progress.
Those are some pretty slick sketches. You may be a prop guy but it looks like you are fairly good at drawing too! So have you finalized all the dimensions?
All dimensions have been finalized and I'm just workin out what the full cost of the materials will be to build it. Sorry I haven't updated this in forever. I've been incredibly busy with making some appearances at conventions doing panels about what I do and a little bit on how to do it. I have a couple pictures below of the current project I had recently finished and how it looked at the convention! (Tekkoshocon X-2)

Chiming in with Kyle here about how long it took to make that. Because that is some seriously well-made armour. And I applaud your manly abilities of sitting in it. XD

The suit was built during a lot of distractions. I have a full time job, one who is now my ex girlfriend that was trying so hard to be controlling she deserved a medal of failing, and helping take care of my mom. So the suit took about 6 months to make but if this stuff was my job and this is what my full time could be focused on. I could probably have a full suit up and ready to go in about 2 weeks.
the Arukoitan scale is going to be changed for the build. It will not be full scale due to cost of materials and storage/work space. Though I would've loved to have a full scale model for filming purposes.. I will be making adjustments in the fan video I was going to do with it. The largest the build may end up being is 1/2 Scale. If I possibly decide to build a 1/4 Scale.. I can cast and make copies. Which means some pretty die hard fans may be able to get themselves a 1/4 Replica! So Keep me informed on what scale you think I should go with making! I would prefer to do the largest scale possible (Being 1/2)

Oh, you updated! Dang. Didn't notice. You know if you're updating your own art thread you can double-post, right? And in other instances, you can copy the contents of your first post into a second post, add new content, post a second post, and delete the first. It's roundabout, but it gets the job done.
Anyway, whatever scale you think you can get done most easily. If you had a 3D scanner and printer, or manage to find someone with one, it probably wouldn't matter that much which size you go with anyway.
Dashe it's actually funny you mention a 3D printer. I've been thinking for the passed few weeks on how I haven't updated anything on this thread and I've felt really bad sort of having this project fall on the back burner but work and getting a dog will do that to you, haha! But to cut to the chase.. I did purchase a 3D printer! So making smaller scale models and such form Megaman Legends is going to be a very easy thing!
Man, you're so lucky! You can make an action figure of pretty much any Reaverbot now. Or characters, if you're feeling ambitious. Kung-Fu Ira for the win!

///WARNING/// By mentioning that you have a 3D printer you have just become a possible target for commissioning... I've been wanting one for a while so I could print some of my models but I can't afford one...
Good luck with the arukoitan too, I'm looking forward to seeing it. Be sure to make the grooves between the plates nice and deep and thick!
Is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

I need to get one, but the replacement cost for the plastic is awful plus the cost for the printer itself. How big is the one you built?
