Edit: Truner responded while I was posting . This is meant to be me voicing my opinions on the video quality and what could be wrong for OKeijidragon. Just from my experience streaming PS2/Wii, the component cables only improve games that support them, something like WiiSX, which is already slow, and runs PSX games (which didn't support 480p) it's really just a waste. To capture it properly and to reduce frameskipping would be through proper software and a standard PS2/PS1 system. Further more, you could bypass everything with a high accuracy emulator, such as Xebra (ePSXe DOES NOT cut it for a lot of things.) to make it look as good as possible. That way you can get a 60 fps video without interlacing, though, if you're just uploading it to youtube, it'll be converted to 30 anyway. Your capture card is far better than mine, but the first video still looked choppy, may need to pop open a PS1/PS2 and try those. I can't seem to find a link to your new video, so this may well end up moot, just thought I'd put my video expertise amateur...ise? into the mix! Either way, I find the footage very interesting, especially the fact that it mixes the other teasers we've seen before from multiple builds of the game. Video quality doesn't really matter within our community, because we've seen it all before.

I'm assuming the interlacing and framerate hiccups are just the low quality videos on the PSX disc. I think it does look far better than the first attempt though.

I've been able to directly convert the .STR on the disc to .AVI; no lag, no stuttering, no blurring, no borders, and no intros. Links are available on the original Youtube video for those interested. The .STR was 320x224, 15000/1001 ("14.9") FPS, and 1480 frames long.

Thanks for posting up my newer video Truner, I was gonna post it up later in morning. What is the PS1 about? 3D POLYGONS AND 3D ACTION! We sure lived in much simpler times back then. Well, to be honest, the audio stuttering is really bad and I think that might be because of the Wii... I found that out after the reviewing the first video again. Note to self: never use the Wii to record for PS1 videos again. Yeah, that was more of a complain towards the disc itself, not your video. Everything looks really washed out. Sure, it just looked... desperate? Oh well, don't mind me. This was a project I wanted to get done all last week. College scheduling hasn't been too nice to me lately, so I had to finish this as soon as possible and get it out of the way. The ISO's been out for quite a long time, even in redump form, I wonder why no one looked for it after Protodude mentioned it. But getting it out from you is probably going to do good to the disc. At least people will know about it. To be honest, if it weren't for the cover, we still wouldn't know what this thing is. I mean, that's the only indicator that the game has something DASH on it. I wonder if someone could convert the .str files. That would give the best result, right? This is actually one thing... I can count myself at fault here. He posted the eBay listing on Twitter and after deliberating for about a few minutes, I just bought it. No checks. I didn't want to risk it getting it ninja-swiped if it was something not known before, so I blew the money. I should have known better. When was I notified of Chiz's video from the same disc source (I'm subscribed to him on YouTube), well this Emotikobun should tell: :01: I came to MMLS forums to find anything about the video on it, and found this thread. I won't say the money spent was a total waste though. Just from my experience streaming PS2/Wii, the component cables only improve games that support them, something like WiiSX, which is already slow, and runs PSX games (which didn't support 480p) it's really just a waste. I can't seem to find a link to your new video, so this may well end up moot, just thought I'd put my video expertise amateur...ise? into the mix! This is actually pretty good for me to know, and I should inform you all that I re-recorded the footage again and this time from my PS1 with a GameShark disc swap. I had some trouble getting it done before, but just last night as I was redoing the video and through stubborn means I managed to get it running. I noticed something was caught in the laser lens, so I took it right out and it worked just fine. Either way, I find the footage very interesting, especially the fact that it mixes the other teasers we've seen before from multiple builds of the game. Video quality doesn't really matter within our community, because we've seen it all before. But I do insist that a superior quality rip allows for clearer details to be made out. I'm assuming the interlacing and framerate hiccups are just the low quality videos on the PSX disc. I think it does look far better than the first attempt though. It was my fault for thinking that using the Wii to record in component would be a good alternative. I was wrong, pretty dang wrong. I love how they included footage from the real game. The museum gameplay has the new Volnutt model (new hair and color). Its pretty nice to see more footage of the original map layout of the Downtown area, especially. EDIT: colors are good in the converted file, so there must be a problem with the emulator used. Also, I can confirm that this is not a CFC only footage compilation, since it DOES have new Volnutt. DO'H. I should have known that as I was editing the video again.
