* You really did do an awesome job with those, Dashe. Masterpieces, all of them! On the subject of drawing sub-gates, I don't think these are really worth sharing, but several people requested it so here they are:

As the site's Q&A says, "... we will be sharing most of our progress through the Development Blog as it unfolds, but there's no guarantee regarding frequency." Still, we really appreciate your ongoing enthusiasm for the project, and I'm right there with you on looking forward to more frequent updates. We've just been so busy since... well, all year really, that it hasn't been the best year for poor Tuttle. We're trying, though. And I do have some new things I wanna try when I get the chance that I'm hoping will speed up engine development, so fingers crossed. And while I'm at it, Dashe... I noticed your comment at GMOTM, " Generally their update philosophy seems to be "unless we think it's the eighth wonder of the world, we probably won't talk about it too much." I never realized you thought bits of reaverbot modeling progress qualified as the eighth wonder of the world.

Blyka, you and fAB and I have already had the discussion about this fandom and their odd obsession with all things Reaverbots. I'm, quite frankly, surprised that you're surprised that Reaverbot modeling progress would be considered anything LESS than the eighth wonder of the world. Tangentially similarly to what I was telling HF about keeping people interested in Rockman DASH Legends during a hiatus period, it's more of a, "keep the updates fairly consistent even if they don't seem impressive by any means so we don't assume there won't be an update and give up checking up on the project entirely" sort of thing than it is "show us something that will blow our minds." Even a consistent tweet twice a week that's barely related to the project would do a lot to keep people coming back to the site. Small talk comes in handy here. Tweeting something like, "Progress is slow because we're working on [other project], details here!" helps keep interest in TLT and build interest in your other endeavors. Or "I've just sat down to work on the engine rewrite some more, wish me luck!" You'd be surprised how many people actually would wish you luck back sometimes. Maybe I just have some weird variant of PTSD as far as waiting for stuff goes, but "A new Mega Man Legends thing you haven't seen before exists!" is a really, really big deal. Even if it's fanwork progress. And if you've been lurking about on Facebook, then you already know that I'm not-so-secretly plugging for you guys to hire Kinako Ikawa to do this sort of thing for you. That way we can get daily updates on how you went to the dentist and were proclaimed "cavity-free," so therefore the schedule of development will not be affected by the results of this dental appointment's outcome.

I'm, quite frankly, surprised that you're surprised that Reaverbot modeling progress would be considered anything LESS than the eighth wonder of the world. True, true. I suppose I should have used Gold City modeling to illustrate the point, which is that we do in fact update regarding miniscule details. I think we've come a long way since the old days of developing full games in dead silence. XD While there might be some interest-holding merit to saying we have nothing to say on a weekly basis, both of us would really much prefer to just post when there is something to say. And when there is we usually do. Despite our no-guarantee policy regarding update frequency we certainly don't want to let anyone down or lose interest, but our circumstances this year have just been unfortunate and not at all what we intended. We're constantly working to improve them, and we hope to eventually get back to a point of more frequent legitimate updates. For what it's worth I think of TLT every day even if I'm not able to work on it... but I doubt a stream of "Thinkin' 'bout TLT today. -Blyka" would hold interest very well. Thanks for your continual passionate support, though. It certainly provides additional incentive to know that new updates can turn said support into excited feedback rather than demands for more updates. But seriously, we really appreciate anyone who's still following TLT for their ongoing support and enthusiasm while we're otherwise detained, and we can't wait to start delivering some much needed updates.

Since I don't have Twitter, I'm just gonna say this here--for about a year I've been wondering when you'd get around to posting up minor city propes and elements! It's a weird sort of limbo when you're wondering whether or not you guys were even thinking about making that kind of stuff or if you were splurging for the larger assets first.
Yeah, I'm definitely that one nerd who pays waaaaaaaay too much attention to the little stuff. I wasn't being overdramatic every time I said, "Seriously, post some rocks or something, dammit!" I actually, uh, really like looking at stuff like that.

Trash cans. (this post would be far more emphatic if I could leave it at those two words.)
Truth be told, it won't be proper unless there's posters on everything. MML world has lots of posters, flyers, ads, etc... I think that's what makes it feel like a believable place.
The NPCs have messages they want to send to the other NPCs, about kicking pigs and chickens, and where the town is, and such.
So... yeah. Posters and Trash cans. Both are mandatory scenery.

Thanks for the comments, guys! Glad you're still watching. So far this year our lives are even busier than last year (not sure how that's possible...) but despite that we really want to step up the TLT effort and bring the project back to its "former glory" so to speak, so we're trying our best to keep the pace. Got some news of exciting changes coming up soon, so look forward to that.

Nice to see the model for the sub gate! Keep up the work guys, I have faith in you! On another note I just wanted to point out that you guys should go for the interactivity that Legends 1 had. What I mean is that there was a lot to do and cool little tidbits to keep you interested such as the Apple Market with all the different store like High Necked Record Shop (I've been listening to the music lately). I just wanted to throw that out there so that way maybe you guys could try to get as close to that Legends 1 feel as possible.
