EDIT: This was confirmed false. Really sorry about that.Sony has bought the Crash Bandicoot license back from Activision and is making a new game for the PS4! It is being developed by Naughty Dog (The creators of Crash Bandicoot who developed the original trilogy and Crash Team Racing) and Santa Monica Studios (The developers of God of War, among other games)! … Woohoo! I thought this Crash thing was just a rumor still. I haven't seen it on the major gaming sites yet anyway.

Interesting. I'll have to keep my eye out for that. It's been a while since I've laid my hands on another Crash game. Good to see Sony has their rights back in order. Heh honestly it should never have left their hands in the first place.

So Super Mario 3D World (Wii U) and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS) are out now, and they're both really good. If you like either series, you should really give both a try.

Oh man, that's actually really cool! The video was perfect, classic Punch-Out!!. Little Mac is such a natural fit for Smash Bros. I'm not sure why they held 'im back last time. it's gonna be fun to see who they reveal next.

Now that's interesting. He looks to be the least Cartoony character so far. Hm. I like it. I wonder how he fights though since there isn't much to base from in that boxing game.

The Wii one being a success kind of made Mac a shoe-in. I'm glad to see Pit given material from Uprising as well.

If you haven't been living under a rock, you might know today was Nintendo's last day of allowing access to Wi-Fi Connection for DS and Wii systems. I'm here to say it's not dead yet; Nintendo stabbed it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast. Intrepid hackers have developed a public fanserver and emulator system to keep Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection alive on those systems. All you need is the info in this link and a way to play backup games on your DS, 3DS, or Wii system and you can access WFC for games like the GenIV/V Pokemon games or Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You're welcome!

For a minute I thought you were saying that Nintendo was cutting off their ability to be connected to the internet through wifi. I had no idea that was even a thing. I guess everyone will have to get a Wii U and play all of those games...well, Mario Kart and Smash Brothers at any rate.

...I was saying that. Wi-Fi Connection is the system used to access things like the GenIV/GenV Pokemon games' multiplayer and GTS, among other things, and Nintendo had to terminate it because the servers, owned by Gamespy, have to be shut down. Fans of the service have thus found a way to keep WFC alive by reverse-engineering the system and making their own WFC server.
I would think that's good news, right?

For a minute I thought you were saying that Nintendo was cutting off their ability to be connected to the internet through wifi. Aw man, you picked a bad time to be away, 42. fAB actually announced that in the HG/SS thread two weekends in advance so that way, (aspiring and "pro") MMLS Pokemon trainers were still able to battle, frontier, and adjust movesets for each other. Those two weekends were a couple of the finest for MMLS Pokemon, and it's only fitting since Nintendo shut down their wi-fi services for the DS and Wii. Fatman X. Jones I'm terrible with the techy side of reverse engineering, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to even partake in that. I do have an action replay, but if that ends up being a requirement to be able to connect, I'm not sure if MMLS would be interested, considering the requirement of having to buy one down the road. It would be convenient if it was possible for us to make PC emulator roms out of our own game data, but that's yet another slippery slope.

So those systems will not be able to access the internet at all in any capacity? No more updates and such? That's pretty extreme. I guess it's a good thing I don't have either of them.
