Whether you're a hardcore brony or just like the show because Daniel Ingram is an amazingly brilliant composer and it actually has female characters you can relate to, talk about My Little Pony here!
...Because I know there are totally MLP fans on this board.

I need to post here before Bowen does.
I like ponies because ponies. I like ponies a lot. In fact, Equestria Daily is open in another tab. I'm listening to a pony PMV. I'm writing a Kingdom Hearts/pony fanfiction. I am currently playing in a minecraft pony server, which has pony towns, and I'm using a mod that makes me look like a pony.
Also, ponies.

Heh, you caught us, Miss Dashe. C'mon, Snow, let's flood this place!
First off, I am not embarassed to say that I simply love the pegasus characters. Rainbow Dash is an epic flyer, possibly outmatching even my skills. However, Fluttershy's gentle nature and cute appearance has won me over.
I also play on that Minecraft Server that is made by bronies for bronies. One thing I love about it: plenty of friendly bronies who I can leech from depend on for recourses, especially Snow.

Fan of the show, but gotta be honest, not a fan of how it's started to basically invade everything to the point that people have started using MLP pornography sprays in a TF2 server a friend of mine goes on, and two of my favorite synchtube channels are literally mortal enemies over FRICKIN' PONIES.
Ponies? Good. Bronies? Step it down a few notches, guys. Srsly. You guys can do some awesome stuff when you put effort into it, don't get me wrong, but I can see why people are turned off by the show when I see the more... obsessed end of the fanbase.

It amazes me how someone was able to create a more-than-decent MLP cartoon.
But most importantly, it amuses me how a pony (Rainbow Dash) can technically defeat Starscream.

I've only watched the show a couple of times, so I'd hardly call myself a fan (and certainly not a brony), but it's definitely a good, well-crafted piece of entertainment. The fanbase has to be one of the most obnoxious I've seen, though. I mean, it's perfectly fine that you like the show, but there's no need to shove it down everyone's throat...

I'd be on route with Tau here the parts of it I saw were actually pretty funny and good compared to other cartoons this day and age, seeing it infect the Internet like a virus is the only thing that bothers me about it, I can't say I've ever watched the intro through as I always imagine one of my parents walking in and suddenly go. :23: or have an awkward conversation, I have seen parts of episodes though. Most notably the part where one of them has a mental breakdown because they were called a mule. I haven't watched a full episode yet and someday if I'm bored enough I may watch one or two.

This is definitely a show that I highly enjoy. I especially like the characters' personalities. One of the things that I also like would be the fact that Rarity isn't just some shallow character that likes beauty and that there's more to her. Same with the other characters.
I'd rather keep away from the fanbase, though <.<; >.>;

I can't say I've ever watched the intro through as I always imagine one of my parents walking in and suddenly go :23: Hah. If anything, you ought to be proud that you watch that intro and sternly tell your parents "I'm trying something new." because... seriously. If my parents walked in on me watching My Little Pony, I'd flash them a huge grin before saying anything, if their reaction was anything "surprise" level or higher. Watching MLP is just as manly as four dudes sitting around a table together and playing "Pretty Pretty Princess." (Which is VERY manly, no matter how much sense you try to make of it.) As far as my experience and opinion goes, I haven't watched a single second of the show, and I already know it's awesome. It's just a feeling of sorts that I have... Plus, the whole "virus" thing amuses me just as much as the Roll vs Tron debate. I doubt my opinion would change, even if I were to watch the show. Mainly because "even more awesome than I first thought it was" is a little too redundant for my tastes.

Guys, not all Bronies are bad. Take me and Snow for example: Are we forcing it down people's throats? The answer: No. That is because we are part of the more stable-minded end of the fan faction. It's those ****ing fatass nerdy creeps with the cheap taped-together plastic glasses who give Bronies a bad name. They are known by us regular Bronies as the Bronerds. I swear, if I could push some sort of Bronerd Reinitialization button, I would. It'd get them out of the fanbase and restore the Brony's good name. Let's hope that you all get to know the difference between the good Bronies, and those sick mentaly distorted bastards who screwed us regular Bronies into a life of shame and discrimination.
*ahem* Now then, I'm building this undersea coliseum on the Minecraft Brony Server that Snow and I go to, but I've ran out of ideas for the floorplans. Suggestions, anyone?

My opinion is that while it is a quality crafted show, the fanbase is a little meh... I also heard that it's by the same people who made The Power Puff Girls so it HAS to be good....

I can't say I've ever encountered the unsavory sort of Brony before. Then again, aside from MMLS, Youtube, Google, and various social networking sites, I probably don't really go to the same places online that you guys do, either. I don't know where the crazies hang out.

You'll most likely find them either around the bottom of the social food chain or in a darkened room staring at maturely altered pictures of the show's characters. Regular Bronies tend to stay as far away as possible from them as to avoid being labelled by society as one of those sick bastards.
Anyways, all harshness aside, I've compiled a tournament of Ponies against Kingdom Hearts for the amusement of any other Brony users that are on these Forums. I made this list out of a combination of curiousity and sheer boredom, but more of the latter, and I decided to post this here to curve it out.
Note: I am not trying to derail the topic as this does speak of the show in one way or another.
{CONTESTANTS} Twilight Sparkle VS 2 Red Nocturne, 2 Blue Rhapsody, 2 Yellow Opera, 2 Green Requiem, 5 Silver Rock Rainbow Dash VS 10 Magnum Loader, 5 Strafer Pinkie Pie VS 25 Cressendo, 1 Trickmaster Rarity VS 2 Gargoyle Knight, 2 Gargoyle Warrior, 4 Armored Knight Fluttershy VS 1 Behemoth Applejack VS 1 Groundshaker Nightmare Moon VS 5 Invisible, Sephiroth Princess Celestia VS 10 Angel Star, Final Xemnas
Cast your votes (preferably in a PM to me) and we'll see who survives and how.
BONUS: There is a being here (besides Sephiroth) that doesn't belong in the mix. Think you may know the intruder?

I'm not a super-huge fan of the show or anything, but it definitely is one of the better pieces of animation out there today. It's something I accredit to the fact that its creative team has worked on some of the best cartoons of the past 10-ish years, like Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Dexter's Laboratory. The other part I like is the artistic/musical talent that comes out of their fandom- the best of them are seriously awesome; it's the kind of quality you don't see very much in other fandoms normally. Really interesting how something that was once known widely as a symbol of overtly shallow toy-selling could be completely turned around into a good mesh of quality storytelling and ace animation.

What do you guys think about all the scandal Derpy Hooves has wound up getting into? I didn't really understand or go with the hype the fandom's harped onto her, but I was happy when the animators put her in the series because I do really like it when fans get recognition, and was actually bummed when they changed her out because a bunch of parents complained.
