I guess the crown jewels of my collection would by my Japanese limited editions of Gyakuten Kenji 1 and 2 (Ace Attorney Investigations).
The first one is pretty big, and comes with a bunch of nice extras. While the second one is a lot smaller, it came with extras plus a figure of Miles Edgeworth, who happens to be my favourite character from the AA series. Unfortunately the second game hasn't been released in English yet so I haven't played it. I actually started taking Japanese classes so that one day I can play my Japanese copy. Even if it takes me 50 years to become decent enough, I'll play this game in Japanese if I must. And if it does get released in English, then hey, I learned a new skill.
In Ace Attorney you investigate, search for evidence, etc, and go to court to try and prove your client innocent. It's full of humour with a memorable cast of characters. Ace Attorney Investigations focuses on Miles Edgeworth, where you can now move around in third person to collect clues, and while the setting moves away from the courtroom, it's still amazingly fun.

A fan translation of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 has been in-development for quite a while and is showing great promise.

Huh. You learn something new every day. I didn't know XII was the first game chronologically, and I didn't know Vagrant Story was part of Ivalice. Do you know the complete chronology? I know A2 comes after XII, as does Revenant Wings. The chronology's FFXII > Revenant Wings > Tactics A2 > Tactics Advance > Crystal Defenders > Crystal Defenders Vanguard Storm > FF Tactics > Vagrant Story. It's all detailed, thankfully, here on this TVTropes page.

Definitely Persona 4. The themes of the game really hit home, such as being able to face the yourself with the help of your friends. It's certainly possible that it's thanks to Persona 4 that I value friendship so much now.
Persona 4 also has some of the most realistic and lovable characters I've ever seen in any entertainment medium, be it video games, anime, or film. It's probably because of how normal the characters are. These characters go to school, do part time jobs, hang out on the weekends, and deal with personal issues that real people go through.
Persona 4 is also one of the funniest games I've ever played, and it's much thanks to how well done the English voice acting is. And if I had to choose a second "queen jewel" game, it would have to be Valkyria Chronicles. In my opinion, it's still the best damn game this console generation. The characters and story are really quite good and have this charm that J-RPG and anime characters lack, and the gameplay is incredibly unique.

For me it would be Legends 2. I've already lost it once (somehow) and it only gets more and more expensive. It's a game I must have, along with the original. My MGS games are pretty important to me too.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Adventure DX are close, but for me it would have to be my Dreamcast. Which works perfectly. With 4 controllers. With Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Chu Chu Rocket, and Sonic Shuffle (And yes I actually love that game minus the AI). I feel like it defines me as a true SEGA fan. Sadly I don't have a Sega Saturn. My cousin used to have one, though.

Out of all games I have, I'm gonna have to go with Sonic Heroes, I craved for a Sonic videogame ever since I was a kid, Sonic Adventure was an "appeal" to me, but couldn't get it since I didn't have a dreamcast (money doesn't grow on trees). It served me as an introduction to the Sonic The Hedgehog games, I was pleased with it, and I don't care about the criticism it got, I still give it it's due credit.

My crown jewel...Hmmm...If you remove MML from the equation then it's not so easy to figure out........I guess I'd say it's a toss-up between The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask or The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind. Neither of which I've seen in nearly two years because they're stuck in storage. I'd say Chrono Trigger, but I've only emulated it due to my depressing lack of SNES. I'd also say Silent Hill 1, but I somehow don't own that game, despite my undying love for it.

Although I'm pretty fond of all my games (which are 90% mega man games), I'd pick the Metal Slug series (Metal Slug Anthology has most of them, except Metal Slug XX).
No matter how many times I die in all of the metal slug games, I can never seem to get enough of them.

I completely forgot to say Shadow of the Colossus, which is tied with Majora's Mask and The Elder Scrolls for possible top position. Though, as I said, I really can't choose between them.

I think I finally decided what is the "true crown jewel" of my collection. It's my favorite game of all time: Super Mario Galaxy 2. However, it's not just any SMG2 copy. This one is signed by Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario himself! (And also the voice of Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and others) This game is one of the two only things I've had in life that actually made me truly smile. (I really love this game.)

I'd say Misadventures of Tron Bonne, since that's the rarest and most expensive one in my collection, but abiding by your rules, I will have to go with a reproduction cartridge of Secret of Mana 2. Custom cart, custom box. Translated to English. Got it from the now defunct TimeWalk Games.

While not exactly crown jewels, these 3 cartridges were the only ones I was able to find or afford during the SFC/SNES days. And oh yeah, I certainly played the hell out of them!
