What do you think is the easiest way to get money for the shining laser special weapon? I think that going to the reaverbot homes ( the black boxes) is the fastest way, what do you think?

Oh psh... All you need to upgrade that blasted thing is chump change. Legends 2's Shining Laser costs zillions more to upgrade and it's not even any phunner to use. Shining Laser = Lame.
I recommend fighting in the SubCity in the Downtown area. That or fighting the doggie-reaverbots in the main gate(enter in the Old City to save time). Large Sharukurusu and Karumuna Bash are probably the most powerful reavers you'll find, and as such, spew the most Zenny, even though it is for a worthless cause.

Not necessarily, the shining laser is the most powerful weapon in MML.

Powerful as it may be it's not nearly as useful as almost any other weapon in the game, considering it only becomes available before you fight Juno - who might I add, needs no super powerful weapon to bring down. It's a terribly boring weapon too, being nothing but a little beam... Not a whole lot of phun to use(and yes, I have used it at absolute full power).

It would be more fun if perhaps it was a slight bit less omnipotent, but then again, I've only tried it in 2. I didn't use special weapons at all back in Megaman Legends 1. ; Yes, upgrading the Shining Laser is a pretty big waste of money, considering its already so insanely high powered.

I remember my first time trying to get the Shining Laser. I was all giddy with anticipation, ready to try the thing out, and I finally get that last museum item, and I get the part I needed to complete the weapon, and I go to Roll, and she makes the Shining Laser, and I go into the Main Gate, fire it off a couple of times, and say, "Wow. I just wasted an hour of my life scrounging up parts for a stupid beam of light that isn't even that pretty." I didn't even use the dang thing to beat Juno. Is MML2's shining laser also obtained way too late in the game to put to any good use? Last I recall one of the parts was up in Elysium.

Yeah, the Green Eye or something like that is in the Elysian Shuttle Bay. Legends 2 saw you fight old bosses again, though, so maybe it was possible to see what it would do against them, but eh... though I suppose that is a nice way to put it to use(kinda like the classic MegaMan/X games, fighting all the bosses again with all the weapons and items, being brutally powerful). Still it's like a whitish-green beam; so it's not very interesting.
